I WANT TO DIE.....SAYS DRIVER OF SPAIN TRAIN CRASH

Police say they have detained the driver of the train that crashed in north-western Spainand killed 78 people. Francisco Jose Garzon Amo was officially detained in the hospital where is recovering, said Galicia region National Police Chief Jaime Iglesias says.
Mr Iglesias said that Garzon Amo would be questioned "as a suspect for a crime linked to the cause of the accident". He says the driver is being guarded by police and cannot yet testify because of his medical condition. He did not have details of the medical condition but said it could delay the driver's statement.
According to Spanish newspaper El Mundo, the driver said 'I f****d up' and claimed 'I want to die' in conversations after the incident that have since been transcribed. A judicial commission will also hear the recordings of two black boxes aboard the wrecked train, the paper reports.
The announcement came as investigators focused on the key question of why the train was going so fast.
