BBC'S MISLEADING NEWS :'THE WORLD OF NIGERIA'S SEX-TRAFFICKING 'AIR LORDS''

On January 26th, 2016, BBC carried news titled ‘The world of Nigeria's sex-trafficking 'Air Lords'’ written by the BBC's Sam Piranty, degrading the Supreme Eiye Confraternity (SEC), by referring to them as ‘gang’ and ‘international sex-trafficking ring’!

It is just unfortunate that BBC, world news leader cannot do a good research on their news before it would be published! I will like to tell the whole world that  the news written and published by BBC concerning the Supreme Eiye Confraternity (SEC) based on the above headline are all lies without an iota of truth.

I am not saying that BBC is not free to write any news they like, but they must write fair news without any bias. I am not supporting sex trade or human trafficking, whoever involved must be arrested and face the full weight of law.

BBC wrote: “Eiye in Yoruba, the main language of south-western Nigeria means "bird". The group's insignia is an eagle and each city containing members is called a "nest", with the "mother nest" in Ibadan, about 100km (60 miles) north-east of Lagos.
The group uses forged documents and passports from Nigeria to fly into places like Gatwick - these need co-operation of people working in the governmentXavi Cortes, Catalan police
The group was started at the University of Ibadan in the 1970s, and the original intention was to make a positive contribution to society. Over time, however, many members went astray, committing violence in Nigeria and delving into crime abroad.
The group now traffics human beings and narcotics (cocaine and marijuana) and forges passports. It has also facilitated the transport of stolen crude oil into Europe.”
I will like to say categorically all what writing above are just fabricating lies and hear-say. However, I will love to educate the writer of this report some of the few things he needs to know about the Supreme Eiye Confraternity (SEC) thus:

“ 'Eiye o ni sasun, eiye mbuta''meaning 'the bird has no cooking pot, but eat the best
pepper soup''.
The Supreme Eiye Confraternity a.k.a National Association of Air lords was formed at
University of Ibadan in 1965 as a GENUINE desire to be free from BONDAGE, ILL-CONCEIVED REGULATION and OBNOXIOUS TABOO..........life of FREEDOM and UNRESTRICTED EXPRESSION...........its adhere to the principle of doing what was natural. FREEDOM was the name of the game.(Baba Goke Adeniji---1st IBAKA worldwide).

The founders are as follows:
1, TUNDE ALUKO-Consultant/Businessman
2.SEGUN IDOWU-Civil Servant
3.JIDE OSUNTOKUN-Historian/Diplomat
4.DELE NWAKPELE-Lecturer
5.FOLABI EPEGA -Businessman
6.BODE FADARE -Oil Industrialist
7.BAYO ADENUBI -Bank Executive
8.GOKE ADENIJI -LIBRARIAN
9.DELE LIPEDE -Physician
The Supreme Eiye confraternity is not a CULT group but a PURE BROTHERHOOD association that was formed to promote:
+ to build a better personality
+ mental development
+ correct the ills of the society
+physical &mental development
+ instill discipline
+ mold a social & political mind
The beliefs of the Supreme Eiye Confraternity are as follows:
.+ SECRECY
 + AUTO-DEMOCRACY
  + DISCIPLINE
 + BROTHERHOOD
 +NO FEATHER NO BIRD

The Supreme Eiye Confraternity is an ONLY indigenous brotherhood in the whole of Nigeria without any foreign belief either by name or mode of operation etc.

''I am sure that everyone that has ever fraternized will agree that one of the biggest problems facing confraternities in Nigeria is the issue of misrepresentation by less superior fraternities, and huge misconception by the homosapien .This has in no way helped to suppressed the myth that surrounds the entire ideology of fraternization. However, here we are going to separate the chaff from the wheat.

The history of the Supreme Eiye Confraternity owes its heritage to the wise and noble “Aro Metta”. On the 15th June 1969 the “Aro Metta” came together under the Araba tree, to develop what will be recognized as the first constitution of the Supreme Eiye Confraternity any years later. This event signaled the beginning of the most traditional and original confraternity in Nigerian history. From Araba nest, Eleye grew in power, fame and recognition. Reaching far and wide, unrestricted, undeterred, unfazed. Reaching as far as the sky spread.''

In conclusion, Supreme Eiye Confraternity (SEC) never involves in human trafficking, the group is currently going through reformation to eradicate miscreant. The article also said they held a big part or is it conference on July 7 2015,in Geneva , this is another pure white lie; the reason been that  we all knew the group that usually held it's gathering on every July 7,I will not say more that. From the above, I think you guys are getting your whole investigation wrong.
