Michael Chinda, was discharged from London’s Bupa Cromwell Hospital on Saturday moments after Nigeria's Minister of State for Education, Nyeson Wike, took a delegation there on a courtesy visit and posed for pictures by his bedside.

A hospital official told our correspondent this morning that Mr. Chinda had since been discharged because he did not have any life-threatening injuries.

Mr. Wike’s London delegation includes former deputy speaker of the House of Representatives, Austin Opara; President of Nigeria Bar Association, Chief Okey Wali; former Treasurer of the Action Congress of Nigeria, Mr Kenneth Kobani; former Transport Minister, Dr Abiye Sekibo; Rivers State Peoples Democratic Party Chairman, Felix Obuah; and a former Commissioner in Rivers State, Mr. Bonny Iyaye.

This trip contains all the elements of what is wrong with Nigeria,” an analyst told SaharaReporters today.
“You have a Minister, Wike, who does no work in the Ministry but is gallivanting all over Nigeria and the world in the interest of Rivers State politics and President Goodluck Jonathan’s 2015 ambitions. You have a man who suffers no life-threatening injuries but who is flown on the president’s order to London at public expense. You have a man who could have been treated in any local hospital for superficial injuries but was shamelessly shipped abroad, which is in itself a confession the administration has failed to develop hospitals. You have an entire army of men flown from Nigeria to London in First Class at public expense to go and pose for fake pictures and collect large allowances all because they have in Abuja a man who does not give a damn about fighting corruption. Once a pedophile is always a pedophile that is the fact. Ahmed Yerima is guilty of this crime and he should be prosecute accordingly. How can a sane matured person will go and ask an under age child in marriage and he will be justifying be quoting Holly Quran to back it up. If he is so that religious , his thinking faculty will tell him that the girl he want to take in for marriage is no person than a baby, who did not understand what they were talking about.

Yerima is a serial pedophile and he must be treated as such.He once married and under age 15 years old child who bore him a child before he went ahead ( as no eye-brow was then) to marry his Egyptians driver's 13 years old daughter and paid the sum of $100,000 as the dowry. He even went ahead to flew in 30-member of his in-law into Nigeria for the wedding.

My submission or question are that as advance as our country , no one can call this guy to order? Or can i frame it like this..Is it because child marriage that we are now having BOKO HARAM.., so that the country can degenerate into animal kingdom?

ATIKU ABUBAKAR CONDEMNED CHILD MARRIAGE

Atiku Abubakar,Nigeria former vice -president has added his voice to condemned the child bride issue. He said thus:

"As a father, I've never given out my daughters in marriage before university graduation. It's a personal decision. I had earlier stated my personal choices on the child marriage issue; I have always supported our women and children.

"For the avoidance of doubt, I do not support any constitutional provision which creates ambiguities about the age of consent for marriage. It's therefore very inspiring to see young Nigerians active and organized on ‪ChildNotBride‬.

"I'm proud to see an engaged generation at work."
