FATHIA BALOGUN AND IYABO OJO....CREATED DRAMA @TOYIN AIMAKHU'S WEDDING OVER SENIORITY

The low-keyed but highly hyped wedding of Nollywood actress, Toyin Aimakhu to his Tinsel actor husband, Niyi Johnson would have been marred by drama.

This is because Fathia Balogun and Iyabo Ojo nearly disrupted the ceremony with a fight. If you think a man might be the cause of the brouhaha, then you are very far from the 411.

As we reliably learnt from eye witnesses, seniority claims led to the rise of their adrenalins.
It was gathered that Fathia Balogun first got to the event held on Monday, July 8, 2013 at Sabitex Hotel, Lekki, Lagos, after the marriage registry at the Ikoyi Registry, before Iyabo Ojo got there. It was while Iyabo was greeting her colleagues that trouble started, which led to a hot exchange of words between the two stars.

Those who claimed to be at the event said when Iyabo got to where Fathia was sitting, she allegedly called the former wife of Saidi Balogun by her name, which angered Fathia. She was said to have told others at the event to warn Iyabo from calling her by her name if she cannot add the prefix ‘aunty’ to her name as a sign of respect in Yoruba land.

Iyabo didn’t take this lightly with Fathia, who reportedly insisted on knowing what Fathia would do is she refuses to add the prefix to her name. The two were almost throwing punches at each other but for the quick intervention of their colleagues.

419 A TEACHER IN LAGOS STATE WAS ARRAIGN BEFORE THE COURT FOR IMPERSONATING MRS AREGBESOLA AND FASHOLA RESPECTIVELY

A 53-year-old primary school teacher, Mrs. Asogbon Abosede, has been arraigned at the Ikeja Magistrate’s Court for allegedly impersonating the wives of Lagos and Osun states governors and defrauding officials of the Lagos State Government.
Abosede, a Grade 10 teacher, was said to have committed the crime between June and July 2013 through text messages in which she claimed to be Mrs. Abimbola Fashola and Mrs. Sherifat Aregbesola.
The accused allegedly influenced her redeployment from a primary school in Alimosho area of the state to the Lagos State Basic Education Board by sending text messages to the Chairman of SUBEB, presenting herself as Fashola and later as Aregbesola.
The request was said to have been granted as she was redeployed soon afterwards.
The police also said among the many sins of the accused was that she sent more text messages to the Chairman of Agbado/Oke-Odo Local Council Development Area, and the Education Secretary of Alimosho, as Fashola, demanding Ramadan gifts.
The LCDA chairman, in response to the SMS, was said to have sent N100, 000, while the Education Secretary, sent three BlackBerry phones valued at N105,000.
The charges further stated that Abosede also impersonated Aresgbesola’s younger sister and misinformed another woman that Aregbesola was involved in a road accident.
The charge read in part, “That you, Asogbon Absosede,f,a Grade Level 10 School Teacher, sometimes in the month of June 2013, falsely representing yourself as sister to Her Excellency, Mrs. Sherifat Aregbesola, First Lady of Osun State, gave false information to one Gbolahan Khadijat Daudu(Mrs) that Mrs. Sherifat Aregbesola was involved in a road accident and could not attend wedding of Mrs. Gbolahan Dauda’s son, saying her the gifts were carted away as a result of the accident.”
The police said the offence was punishable under Section 96(a) of the Criminal Law of Lagos State Nigeria, 2011.
The accused pleaded not guilty to the ten counts.
The defence counsel, Mr. Gbolahan Samuel, urged the court to discountenance the content of the charges because it was a waterless paper tiger.
The lawyer prayed the court to grant the accused bail in liberal terms.
The prosecutor, Mr. Babatunde Sunmonu, however objected to it.
The Magistrate, Mrs. E. Fabanwo, observed that the charges were grievous, saying each of them could attract three to 15 years jail term.
Fabanwo admitted the defendant to bail in the sum of N250,000 with two sureties, whom, she said, must deposit N1m each, while one of them must have landed property in Lagos State with a government approved Certificate of Occupancy.

The matter was adjourned till September 2, 2013.

NOLLYWOOD TOO MESSY......

Nollywood actor issued a press statement concerning his affairs between Ms Bukola Ajayi on whom the father of the baby born by Bukola is. This is how the statement goes:''My name is Bigval Oreoluwa Jokotoye

I have decided to issue this statement in order to clear a particular issue on ground as posted by some bloggers that I am in a paternity mess.

The whole issue started last year when Bukola Ajayi duped my Elder Sister to the tune of N500,000. She also duped some of my senior colleagues,my neigbours and other people she met through me of various amount. I am a man who will never deny whatever I do. I did sleep with Bukky because we were dating then. I quit when I realised she's a fraudster and ever since her true identity was uncovered, she has been making effort to tarnish my image.

She has duped the likes of Antar Laniyan, Abbey Lanre, Afeez Eniola, Bayo Tijani, Toyosi Adesanya, Dupe Jaiyesimi and others.

Recently she told me she was pregnant for me and since I knew she wasn't sleeping with me alone, I told her to bring the baby after giving birth for a DNA test which she has refused to do. She has since fled to Dubai and gave birth there because so many people are ready to arrest her here in Nigeria.

In her usual manner, she duped the agent who facilitated her travelling to Dubai of the sum of 9,250 dollars. Here is the PIN of the agent for confirmation [withheld].

Now, to those who don't know me nor Bukky but are out there advocating for her, pls tell her to come to Nigeria with the baby for DNA. Please note that if the baby is mine, I will take full responsibility. I however doubt if Bukky will ever come out of her hiding place because she is aware of her crimes and thus know she will definitely be apprehended.

Let me reiterate that I am ready to take responsibility as the father of the said baby if the test result confirms me as the father. So, her cronies and sympathizers should tell her to bring the baby for the DNA test.

Finally, I appreciate my true friends and fans who believe in me. I equally thank the press for their fair reporting of this issue. Thanks and God bless''

DAVID CAMERON PLANING TO EXPORT GAY-LESBIAN AROUND THE WORLD

The Prime Minister David Cameron told a gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender reception in Downing Street of his personal pride at legalizing gay marriage.

‘I’m personally proud of this,’ he said. ‘I think it’s a really good step. I’ve told the Bill team I’m now going to reassign them because, of course, all over the world people would have been watching this and we’ve set something of an example of how to pass good legislation in good time.
‘Many countries are going to want to copy this. I talk about how we’ve got to export more, so I’m going to export the Bill team.
'I think they can take it around the world.’

BINI CHIEFS WANT SEEK REMOVAL OF BISHOP

Addressing a press conference in Benin City,Nigeria, the Iyase of Benin Kingdom, Sam Igbe, who spoke on behalf of the Edo Liturgical Group, said there was a deliberate attempt to ostracise Bini-speaking priests from the scheme of things by sending them abroad in the guise of training and replacing them with non-Bini priests.
While canvassing that a Bini Catholic priest should be installed as archbishop of the dioceses, Igbe said the Bini could no longer tolerate a missionary that is not ready to listen to the voice of the people and Papal directives on indigenous worship, alleging that of the 832 weekday masses in a year, only 12 are conducted in Edo language.
“We have come to the inevitable decision that Akubeze cannot justifiably continue to remain as a shepherd of the Catholic Church in Benin, a people on which he was forced and from whom he has so effectively distanced himself in a manner akin to the attitude of a maximum ruler.
“Our people want him transferred from Benin and until the church heeds this advice, it would amount to self-deception to continue to believe that they have an effective prelate in Benin. We make bold to say that Akubeze, as a pastor, is not close to the people of Benin; he is not a father or brother but a detached ruler. He is not meek, patient and merciful. He is a complete antithesis of these required qualities.”
They also alleged Akubeze’s disrespect to the Benin monarch by, according to them, locking the door against some Bini chiefs sent on a reconciliatory and peaceful mission by the Oba when he was installed as the archbishop of Benin Diocese. “Because Archbishop Akubeze has exhibited hatred for the people of Bini and their language, he has to go and a Bini priest has to be installed archbishop of our diocese,” they noted.

POLICE MAN CHASED SOME THIEVES,COLLECTED THE MONEY THE STOLE....AND RETURNED IT TO THE OWNER!!!

I saw this very interesting story from a friend page(Princess Bio-Adunni Ladejobi) that a Nigeria Police officer returns a large some of money that belong to a certain woman!!! This is very strange , but it do happened. The story read thus:
A POLICEMAN, Corporal Abu Tanko, on Friday, proved there is more to the image of the average Nigerian cop than that of a gun-totting extortionist forcing out money from motorists.

At about 1.15pm, a customer walked out of one of the commercial banks at Area 3, Abuja, clutching a polythene bag, containing the sum of N150,000 he had just withdrawn.

But as he walked to the road, a man grabbed the bag from him, jumped on a waiting motorcycle and sped off.

The customer’s shout attracted Tanko, a police motorcycle rider attached to Force Headquarters, Abuja.

The Corporal gave the thieves a hot chase. At Area 8, it dawned on the hoodlums that the game was over. They flung the bag away and fled.

Tanko returned to the scene, about 15 minutes later, with the entire sum of money intact and handed over the same to the owner, who did not believe he would ever get back his money.

A crowd, of course, had gathered. And if the looks on their faces were anything to go by, they wished every Nigerian policeman was a Corporal Abu Tanko.
