HA! ROBBERS ARRESTED @ REDEMPTION CAMP

One Emmanuel Olowu,26, who was recently arrested at the Redemption Camp of the Redeemed Christian Church of God while trying to rob worshipers was paraded alongside other suspected armed robbers by the Ogun state Police command at the Force Head quarters in Abeokuta, yesterday ,18th December,2014.

Parading the suspects before newsmen, the state's Police Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi, said Emmanuel was apprehended with a toy gun, phones and money. Adejobi said the other suspects were arrested while carrying out robbery attacks in some towns in the state.

My dear readers permit me to say that am not that comfortable to publish this particular blog, but for the sake of posterity, I have to. About some months ago, I watched a video clip about a Caribbean black lady beating her teenage daughter blue-black for posting her nude pictures on a social media! To yours sincerely, that is what a mother should do.....you need to monitor your teenage girls’ activities on all social media, try to check whom they interact or hang-out with.


Having said that, it is very saddened to see a 16-year old girl posting an X-rated photo on social forum all in the name of ‘I want to belong’! All the same, this girl is just too small for all this rubbish! What a wasted generation! See the rubbish pictures below...

70 PERCENT OF STUDENTS FAILED NOV/DEC 2014 WASSCE EXAM

Over 70 percent of students who sat for the 2014 November/ December 2014 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) failed to pass the exam once more.

The National Office of the Council Head, Charles Eguridu revealed this woeful result on December 18, 2014, in Lagos state. He revealed that out of the 241,161 candidates who sat for the exams only 72,522 scored five credits with the two key subjects, Mathematics and English Language, giving a pass rate of 29.27 percent.

The 2014 result only shows a .1 percent increase from the previous year’s 29.17 percent pass rate. It was also revealed that the commission withheld 28,817 results due to exam malpractice.



FIFA CLEARS UKOH TO PLAY FOR NIGERIA

World football governing body, FIFA, has cleared former Swiss U-20 international, Steven Archibong Effiong Ukoh, to play for the Super Eagles at senior level.

 The versatile midfielder, Steve Ukoh , born on June 19, 1991 to Nigerian parents in Berne, Switzerland,currently plays for Biel-Bienne FC .

A statement issued in Abuja by Ademola Olajire, Assistant Director, Communications, Nigeria Football Association (NFA) read :
“Ukoh was cleared to switch his nationality from Switzerland to Nigeria. The versatile midfielder, born on 19 June, 1991 to Nigerian parents in Berne, Switzerland, currently plays for Biel-Bienne FC in the European country. His father, Archibong Ukoh and mother Helene, hail from Itu Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom’’

NIGERIAN PRISON INMATES' NOW HAVE RIGHT TO VOTE' IN ALL ELECTION!

In the suit filed by Victor Emenuwe, Onome Inaye, Kabiru Abu, Osagie Iyekepolor, Modugu Odion (for and on behalf of inmates of Nigeria Prisons) against the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and the Comptroller-General of Nigeria Prisons Service, in an amended Originating Summons, asked the court to determine “whether having regards to the provisions of section 25 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999, as amended in 2011, and section 12 (1) of the Electoral Act 2010, the plaintiffs are not entitled to be registered as voters by the first Defendants..

Justice Mohammed Lima of the Federal High Court in Benin, Edo State, yesterday ruled that inmates of all prisons across Nigeria have the right to vote in all elections conducted in the country.
