GRADUATE ROBBER PROMISED TO EMBRACE GOD IF RELEASED !!!

Amucha Chike, 27, a suspected car thief, who said he was a graduate of Agriculture Economics from the Abia State University, Uturu, and has completed his National Youth Service Corps programme, blamed the devil for his ill-fated venture into crime.

The suspect, who hails from the Isiala Mbano Local Government Area of Imo State, said he wished to use his university degree to seek an honest living, attend a thanksgiving church service and embrace God if released.

According to the Public Relations Officer of the Enugu State Police Command, Ebere Amaraizu, explained that Chike had on June 16, 2014, snatched a Toyota Camry at Independence Layout, Enugu, after the owner left the key in the ignition after parking to open his gate.

He proceeded to Owerri, Imo State, where he kept the car in a dealer shop, before selling it for N700,000 and moved to Benin City, Edo State, to relax and enjoy the proceeds of the stolen car, but unknown to him, the police were already on his trail.

He was eventually arrested on November 29 in Edo State, while having dinner in an undisclosed restaurant.  Following his arrest, the stolen vehicle was recovered.

Chike, who is currently helping the police in their investigations, urged youths to avoid crime.  He said, “I am ashamed of myself. I am still surprised at how the police traced me to Edo State and arrested me.

“Youths should eschew all manner of crimes and criminality and embrace good virtues and God will embrace them someday but involvement in crime and criminality will destroy their future.”

2 NYC COPS SHOT DEAD BY A BLACK MAN AS A REVENGE FOR 'ERIC GARNER & MIKE BROWN'

This is sad news, why? Why? Why? Two wrongs can never make a right! Why should a citizen take laws into his own hands and start shooting police officers because of what their colleagues did to Mike Brown and Eric Garner?

Two uniformed NYPD police officers were shot dead execution style today 20th September while they sat in their police car on a Brooklyn street, NY.
“It’s an execution,” one law enforcement source said of the 3 p.m. shooting of the two officers, whose names were being withheld pending family notification of their deaths.

The tragic heroes were working overtime as part of an anti-terrorism drill when they were shot point-blank in their heads by the lone gunman, who approached them on foot from the sidewalk at the corner of Myrtle and Tompkins avenues in Bed-Stuy.

"I’m Putting Wings on Pigs Today,” a person believed to be the gunman wrote on Instagram in a message posted just three hours before the officers were shot through their front passenger window.

The post included an image of silver automatic handgun with a wooden handle. Another post showed camouflage pants and blue sneakers which matched the clothing the dead gunman was wearing as his body was carried from the scene on a stretcher.

“They Take 1 Of Ours … Let’s Take 2 of Theirs,” the post continued, signing off with, “This May Be My Final Post.”

The gunman was a fugitive who had just murdered his girlfriend in Baltimore Saturday morning, sources told The Post.

Minutes after shooting the two officers, he, too, was dead.

He fled to a nearby subway station, the G-train station at Myrtle and Willoughby avenues, where, as pursuing cops closed in, he shot himself on a crowded platform, sources told The Post.

“They engaged the guy and he did himself,” one investigator said of the gunman’s demise.
Both shooting scenes — above and below ground — were scenes of blood and terror.

"I heard shooting, — four or five shots,” ear-witness Derrick McKie, 49, told The Post of the cops’ tragic murder. “It sounded like from a single gun,” he said. Ambulances and police cars rushed to the scene, he said.
“I seen them putting the cop in the ambulance. He looked messed up,” McKie, a barber, added. “He took a high caliber weapon to the face. He was lifeless…I couldn’t see where the holes was that, all I could see was blood. His body was lifeless.”

Modal Trigg Carmen Jimenez, 32, a social worker from Bedford-Stuyvesant, was on the subway platform when the gunman ran inside, pursued by officers.
“Everything happened so quick,” said Jimenez, who is eight months pregnant. “We were standing waiting for the G train. We heard arguing from the other end of the platform.

It looked like two cops came in there was lots of yelling and they said, ‘Everybody get down.’
“We tried to get out of there, and there was a lot of shouting, people were screaming, people were trying to run.
“I threw myself on the floor. I was afraid for my life and afraid for my baby.”

I WEPT & PRAYED IN SEARCH OF HUSBAND... SAYS NEWLY MARRIED IBINABO

Newly married Ibinabo Fiberisima said she'd prayer and cried to find a man of her husband. In a new interview with ThisdayLive ,she spoke  new husband and  her relationship with ex, Fred Amata. Enjoy it:

What’s the secret behind your beauty?
Wow. I know am blossoming but that is what happens when you are in love. I have found my soul mate, my friend, my brother and that’s why I am glowing.

How did you feel when you noticed you are crazy about him?
Well, it’s not that I suddenly found that love. The love has been there and we have been best of friends since our school days at University of Ibadan and when we met again years after, we remained best of friends. His kids and mine have always been wondering how both of us can be this close, almost like a brother and a sister. I think the kids planned it; they were like why don’t you two just get married and we started thinking. After a while, we felt this is God telling us its time and that’s it.

Can you share the experience of how he proposed to you?
(Laughs) He is an Igbo man oh! I think the kids planned it more than we did. That’s how it is because the day he asked me, my kids were calling. His kids too were calling and they were all abroad while we were in Nigeria. So everybody was eager to know my reply. His kids were like, ‘Daddy, have you asked her?’ My own kids too were also calling to say, ‘Mummy, hope you said yes?’ (Laughs.) It was a beautiful moment and everybody was happy.

What drives you crazy about him?
He looks after a woman very well. He adores me and he is a family-oriented person. He loves his family. He loves us totally and he is very committed to his work. He encourages me a lot in what I do and we pray a lot. We have the fear of God which is paramount in our relationship. I think we are heading in the right direction and of course, with my kind of lifestyle and the kind of work I do, every man will withdraw. But no, he is always there, giving me the strength, support and ideas to improve on what I am doing. So, I really do admire him.

You have tried to settle down several times in the past, why did the efforts fail?
I believe God wanted a better man for me that is why my past relationships failed. Besides, my previous relationship did not work because I was not patient enough. I tried my best to make it work. I prayed severally and I wept. I even went the extra mile just to make it work, but I never knew God had a better plan for me. I did all I could to have a man I can call my own but God knows best and his reason are unquestionable. Until I found my man, I have never enjoyed my relationships. Marriage to me is supposed to be enjoyed not endured. That is the major reason why I am settling down with someone that understands me properly. My man is very romantic and caring. That is what I asked from God and he gave it to me.

How is your relationship with Fred Amata, the father of your kid?
I can never ignore Fred. He is my daughter’s father and a wonderful friend. I will never disrespect him. Even if I am with a man, I must always walk up to him and greet him. Some people wouldn’t do that. I have seen people who got separated and divorced and they don’t speak to each other in public. I will never do that. Even if we had quarreled before the event, I would still walk up to him and greet him. He is still my true friend.

Is Fred Amata in support of your marriage?
Yes! Fred is aware of my marriage plans. He is not an enemy. Since marriage did not work out for the two of us. He gave me is support. He is very happy about it and I know he will continue to wish me well because we are still good friends. Fred is my daughter’s father. Yes, he knows about my marriage. He supports my marriage.

Will he attend your wedding?
Of course, yes! I have sent an invitation to him and I know he will come. But one thing you must know is that whether he is coming or not, the truth is Ibinabo is finally hooked for life.

So, what is your advice for those ladies that have given up on getting married?
They should place their hope in God. Remember, God’s time is the best. No woman should feel the pressure to get married. Marriage should not be by force or a do-or-die affair for any ladies –especially for those considered being over-aged. If your marriage is not working, move on because God has a better plan for you. If you are still searching keep praying to God. One day, he will hear your cry. Marriage is a good thing and good comes to those that believe it. Marriage should not be so much about looking at each other but looking in the same direction together. Always remember the positive things that brought you together and then to concentrate on positive goals to achieve as a couple. Marriage is not always 50/50. Some days you will wake up and may have to give 90 per cent and your spouse will give 10 per cent. Other days you may wake up and give 25 per cent and your husband will have to put in the 75 per cent. If you want to keep your marriage long-lasting and successful, be flexible in your attitudes. You should be willing to create balance in your life, and be open to change. My observation is that all the cute, unique things that made your spouse wonderful in the beginning are going to be the things that get on your nerves later. Try to focus on the positive. If you look for negative qualities in someone you are sure to find them.

DRUG: NDLEA ARRESTS DRUG PIN & DESTROYED N15.1 WORTH OF INDIAN HEMP

Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency has discovered  cannabis plantations four states-Ekiti, Edo, Delta and Kogi, they also destroyed Indian hemp with a street value of N15.1bn.

Head of Public Affairs, Mr. Mitchell Ofoyeju, put the total weight of the cannabis intercepted during the raid code-named ‘Operation Weed Eater’ as 1,514,278 kg.

One of the targets of the raid was Uche Obi, the operational head of a cannabis syndicate known as Akunnubas, who was also known as the ‘King Maker’ was arrested along with seven other members of the syndicate and two truck drivers.

Speaking on the raid, Head of NDLEA’s Public Affairs, Mr. Mitchell Ofoyeju, said “Cannabis plantations were raided and destroyed at Ise Forest Reserve in Ise/Orun Local Government Area of Ekiti State and Ode Camp in Gboyin Local Government Area of the same state.

“Another plantation was also destroyed at Utese Forest Reserve in Edo State. One hundred officers drawn from various State Commands participated in the operation that lasted for twelve days.”

Ofoyeju said during investigation, Obi revealed that he was referred to as the King Maker because of his overriding influence in determining appointment of other executive members of the cartel.

He said he was also responsible for the execution of punishment on erring members and foes. The cartel was said to control much of the cannabis business in the South West and South South of Nigeria.

“Our investigation revealed that the Akunnubas are responsible for over eighty per cent of cannabis production in Nigeria. The syndicate hires cheap labour including school age children to work in cannabis farms. They use motorcycles in conveying processed cannabis from the farms to a temporary covert warehouse from where trucks are later used in taking the drug for inter-State distribution,” Ofoyeju .

NDLEA’s Director of Operations and General Investigations, Mr. Olugbenga Mabo, who coordinated operations, said in Ekiti State alone, cannabis weighing 1.5 million kg was destroyed in two cannabis plantations. In Edo, 9,300kg was intercepted and destroyed while 19,675kg was intercepted in a truck in Delta State.
Mabo said, “Two trucks containing 2,103kg of cannabis were seized in Lokoja, Kogi State. The cases are under investigation.

“The interception of a truck carrying a forty-foot container loaded with 19,675kg along the Amai Road, Obiaruku, Delta State by our officers at the Delta State Command and two trucks containing 2,103kg of cannabis by the Kogi State Command is impressive.

Chairman of the NDLEA, Ahmadu Giade, said the arrest of Obi was a reward for painstaking investigation.

“He was under investigation by the agency for several months. This is an era of protracted and diligent investigation that will expose illicit drug activities. I am delighted with the success of the painstaking surveillance carried out by officers in ‘Operation Weed Eater’,” Giade stated.
