PHOTOS: HABA!!! NIGERIANS...

These photos speaks volume without adding any caption….it’s all about poverty and greed; that is the way our leaders like to run the country that flows with milk and honey….that is to say during the elections they donates rice and chicken to the masses, after the election they will asked the like of Mbu to shoot at sight if they protest for ‘simple’ kerosene scarcity!

Oluwakemi aya Oladapo captioned this thus: ‘Some Nigerians Are Disgrace To The So Call Nation.....Mortgaging Their Future....The saddest part is they gladly and shamelessly pose for photos with their miserable 'share of the national cake'..DARIS GODUUUU OO.’

Hon Modupe Oladapo-Adekalu, wrote: ‘You will discover that those receiving these bribes are not the poor people but greedy/shameless ones. What I researched in Nigeria was that poor people sell water, peppers and all petty items to make ends meet, however, those who have means of livelihood are the greedy ones’.

While Oluremi Joseph Karunwi , simply wrote: ‘Shameful and unbelievable. This jonathan has destroyed this country oooo. See policeman too with rice and chicken. How can they do their job without fear or favour. Na wa ooo’

CELEBRITY: ATANDA MUSA...ONE OF THE BEST TABLE TENNIS PLAYERS EVER TO COME OUT OF AFRICA

Atanda Musa, the acrobatic two-winged looper from Nigeria, is one of the most exciting table tennis players in Nigeria, Africa and the world.  Unarguably, one of the best table tennis players ever, to come out of Africa!

Atanda Musa, aka Mansa Musa, spent 15 years on the Nigerian National Team, reach #20 in the world at his peak. He was 10-times African Men’s Singles Champion, and even won Singles & Doubles at the Commonwealth Games one year.

Musa led the Nigerian Skypower Team to victory several times at the U.S. Open Team Championships in the early 1980s. In 1985, he made the semifinals of the U.S. Open. But he loses to Cheng, who would go on to win the Open.

Musa is known to many for his spectacular backhand loop. However, it is his forehand that wins most of his points. He seemingly can run down any ball and either loop or lob it back. He also has a blocking game that surprises opponents who don’t think of him as a close-to-the-table blocker.
In 1992, Musa became a full-time coach in Saudi Arabia for three years. In 1995, he was hired to coach in Qatar at the Ali club. In 1997 he returned to Nigeria, where he continued to play and coach.
In 1999, Musa came to the U.S., at first to play in tournaments. He ended up staying, along with his family – a wife and three kids.

According to this sport icon, he said. “I don’t need to blame the athletes, the Nigerian government needed to have done more to encourage her athletes. “The Olympics is the highest sporting event. Unfortunately, most of them did not prepare adequately and that was the reason they could only bring home silver and three bronze medals,”

“Table tennis is falling short of expectation mainly because there are no longer reliable sponsors and the over-concentration of government on only football,” Musa lamented.

He went on to note that, in terms of high standards, the likes of Segun Toriola and Monday Merontoun, two of Nigeria’s best players, cannot be compared to the likes of his colleagues, Yomi Bankole and Abass Ekun — who were his greatest rivals during his heyday.

“During my time we had very good and special players, and even had consistent sponsors but things have changed a lot. “Nevertheless, we still have a couple of good players to cheer. Segun Toriola is doing very well, but he has not reached that high level I attained during my many years of glory,” he enthused, while suggesting that the key to the problem lies in the hands of government. “We have had different types of government, but I feel civilian governments don’t do enough to support sport in their programs.

They should endeavor to fund sports with more money. “I remember during the Shehu Shagari regime, footballers were awarded houses and cars, but I won the Commonwealth title and got nothing. I feel it still the same, and in a way that’s why some of us don’t feel like coming back yet,”

Mansa Musa retorted. The former player also gave an indication that he will like to come back soon to help in development of the game that brought him fame and fortune, but fears that the government is still too interested in football to the detriment of other sports. “I would like to come back home to help in the development of the game as am still very much involved in the sport.

I am currently a member of the London 2012 Olympics executive committee here, with a lot of programs planned for the coming days. We are training some US kids ahead of the next Olympics but my fear is that the government in Nigeria is only interested in football,” he disclosed.

Musa currently resides in New York City.

HANKS ANUKU INFECTED HIS WIFE WITH HIV...HAD S*X WITH 80 WOMEN !!!

Popular Nollywood star, who is also known for his criminal roles in Nigeria home movies, Hanks Anuku has disclosed to City FM Radio in Ghana that he allegedly infected his wife with HIV and slept with 80 women and said he regrets it all.
According to him: “During my peak of popularity, I had s*x with approximately 80 women, within Harare and Zambia. In 2002 it was so amazing to be on TV. I abused the fame. To make matters worse, I lacked counseling and I failed to handle it properly,
“Life in Zambia was heaven on earth because we could enjoy life, moving in all places but I was missing my family. During that time I had quite a number of s*xual activities and I slept with different women. When I came back home I never took care of the family. I started drinking and became an irresponsible husband, leaving the entire burden to my wife,” he said.

“I got tested while I was in Zambia after one of my girlfriends advised me about her pregnancy. She had gone for pregnancy tests and during that time, she was tested for HIV and the results were shocking, she was positive. She forced me to get tested but I could not come to terms with the results. After I got tested, I came back to Zimbabwe and I kept quiet about the issue. I never told my wife about the issue. I infected her, but I regret. Later on, I received some counseling and it went well,”

OBASANJO'S EXIT ''DEEPLY SADDENED''....PDP RELEASES STATEMENT

Press statement from the PDP regarding Obasanjo's exit today. Read below...

The leadership Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has received the news of the decision of former President Olusegun Obasanjo to withdraw his membership of our great party. We have also carefully examined the circumstances and the reasons adduced for this unfortunate decision.
While we concede to the inalienable rights of every citizen to hold opinion and to decide who to associate with, we are however deeply saddened that Chief Obasanjo, a revered leader of our party, our first Presidential flagbearer whom the PDP offered the platform to rule our nation for 8 years, could decide to abandon this party at this critical point in time.

This is especially as Chief Obasanjo, who was also the Chairman of the highest advisory organ of the PDP, the Board of Trustees (BoT) discountenanced all pleas by elders and leaders of our great party with regard to his reservations on certain issues within our fold.

Many Nigerians are still bewildered as to what manner of provocation could have led a former President to lose his composure and go to the extent of tearing the membership card of the party that he once led.

Indeed, the PDP is hugely at loss as to how the decision and action of the former President who had enjoyed the benefits of being elected to the highest position of leadership will assist in deepening our democracy and stabilizing the polity.

It is our considered opinion that no matter the provocation, a statesmanly disposition from a person of Chief Obasanjo’s status could have encouraged our citizens and help in stabilizing system.

We believe however, that what this country needs now is patriotic actions that engender national unity, tolerance and peaceful coexistence of our people irrespective of political, ethnic and religious persuasions. The overall interest of our nation and wellbeing of our citizens must remain paramount and above all personal and group interests.

Finally, we direct all our members across the country to remain focused on our campaigns and not to be distracted on this issue. With an array of credible candidates led by our Presidential flagbearer, President Goodluck Jonathan, we are sure that we will emerge victorious come March 28 and April 11, 2015 general elections.
