10 GOVERNORSHIP ASPIRANTS IN LAGOS STATE STEP DOWN FOR AMBODE..

Ten (10) governorship aspirants in Lagos State have stepped down to declare support for Akinwunmi Ambode, who is running under APC in the forthcoming April 11th governorship election in the state.

In a  released statement the governorship aspirants said:"Without mincing words, we collectively as candidates of various political parties, have decided to join hands together with Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode of APC to give Lagosians a deserving government at this time. We unanimously give our unwavering solidarity to work together with Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode of the APC come 11th April 2015, slated by the Independent National Electoral Commission for gubernatorial election. We enjoin all our teeming supporters across the state to take this declaration and sound it loud and clear that Akinwunmi Ambode, is the candidate to take Lagos to the next level.”

NIGERIA I HAIL THEE ...NIGERIAN ARMY HAS FOUND GENERAL BUHARI'S CERTIFICATE !!!

 Nigeria I hail thee, an APC leader, Sen. Tokunbo Afikuyomi, tweets today that the Nigerian Army has found the certificates of General Muhammadu Buhari.

 It is important to know that this certificates issue has o generated a lot of controversy after the Nigerian Army came out to say they didn't have it. The Nigerian Army has however not confirmed that they've found the certificate!!!


MAN ALLEGEDLY KILLED HIS GIRLFRIEND & DUMPS THE REMAINS IN THE PIT TOILET !!!

A middle-aged man simply identified as Soji, allegedly said to have killed his girl friend, removed her breast and dumped the corpse in the pit toilet. Sources said that Bilikisu was Soji’s girlfriend for over two years before her death. 

Soji , who resides at Abaja compound, in Oshogbo is now at large . Residents said they knew Bilikisu as Soji’s girlfriend and that the duo engaged in incessant fight often. They separated at a time and Bilikisu left Soji for several months but eventually, they resolved their last misunderstanding and Bilikusu returned to Soji’s house.

 Few days after she returned to the house, she went missing and Bilikisu’s parents while searching for their daughter visited Soji’s house and discovered that the man had absconded from the house. The matter was said to have been reported to the police, who immediately swung to action, and raised a search party which eventually discovered that Bilikisu was dead and that she had been dumped in the pit toilet.

 It was further gathered that the police detectives from Criminal Investigation Department during their search opened up the concrete slab on the pit and discovered the remains of 19-year-old girl, Bilikisu.

WASTED GENERATION: ANOTHER NIGERIAN TO DIE IN #INDONESIA FOR #DRUG TRAFFICKING

Another Nigerian, Simon Ezeaputa, has been sentenced to death in Indonesia for drug trafficking. According to local media report monitored on Thursday, Ezeaputa, was found guilty by the district court in Tangerang, near Jakarta, on Wednesday of controlling a drug transaction from his prison cell, where he was serving a 20-year jail term for drug offences.

The report said the transaction involved 350 grams of crystal methamphetamine.


Meanwhile, the Amnesty International said in its annual report on the death penalty worldwide released on Wednesday that “Indonesia stood out for all the wrong reasons.”

Papang Hidayat, Head, Amnesty Researcher, Indonesia, said the death penalty was always a human rights violation.

Hidayat said investigations by human rights groups have found that individuals sentenced to death have been tortured and forced to sign police investigation reports. (Dpa/NAN)
