WAKAJUGBE: MY FIRST NIGHT AS A BIG RUNS BABE (10)

If anyone had told me six hours before now that I would be in a room with this aged fat man, I would have argued with them.

It was a blissful Friday afternoon,  Dorcas, my roommate, had called me from home to inform me of a birthday party happening later in the day. Although her plan when she was leaving school on Wednesday was to return to school on Sunday evening, she, however changed her mind and decided to come back to the hostel on Friday evening so she could attend the birthday bash of a popular rich man in Lagos.

It was as if Dorcas knew I was officially the ‘most bored person’ in the world that day when she put a call to me telling me about the said birthday bash which her school mother had invited her to.
From the way she sounded on phone, there were lots of incentives attached to being present at the party. Meeting with top politicians and top influencers in the country (which I was not too keen about), going home with lots of cash if you know how to play your game quite well… (I didn’t know what that really meant, but was hoping everything would be just fine), and so many more!
I just wanted to have fun in the company of my friends, get out of this my boredom state which I had been for 48 hours and return back with well… money!

I knew that I was a smart girl (I still am), so no matter what games they might be planning for everybody present at the party to do to win some money, I was sure of myself.
Just like Dorcas, I had no boyfriend but although Dorcas had been in and out of five relationships, I really could not figure out why I could not hold on to one. Most of the guys who had asked me out ended up irritating me… except Abiola.

Abiola was studying Computer Science and he was about two levels above me. It was the fifth month since Abiola and I had been friends (although he was still waiting for my reply to his proposal).
The ‘clean’ dark guy was, and is still cool, calm and collected. Unlike those other boys who just get me irritated with either their behaviors, orientation or their words, Abiola always knew when to talk, keep quiet and he was always making me laugh.

Although I was deeply convinced that he was the one for me, I still dragged my reply to his proposal just to be sure of what I was getting into.
“At least, he’s still better than all of those other unserious guys,” I had silently thought.
“I will never allow him go. He’s the one for me,” I assured myself further.
But Dorcas is a free bird; she had tried out about seven relationships that did not work out, they all ended even before they started.

Well… when Dorcas called me to intimate me on how we were going to meet, I wanted to ask her how her school mother, whom she had not seen in years, suddenly got across to her, to tell her about the gig happening later in the day.She was obviously in a rush to get off the phone so as to prepare and get back to school on time.

When Dorcas arrived, we were both in haste, and our dressing routine which usually takes two hours, ended in less than thirty-five minutes.
Spotting a sheer tube dress that barely covered my boobs and butt, with other parts of my body leaving much to be imagined, I was all set for the party.

“Wheeeeeeeeeew!” Dorcas exclaimed when we were all set. “Omo, you’re simply hot.”
With the both of us gaily dressed, a car was already waiting to pick us outside. It was later that I got to know that it was part of the arrangement for the gig; everyone is taken care of right from their doorsteps.
When we finally got to the venue, I was thankful to God that I dressed like a ‘big babe’, although my parents would have to look twice to be sure it was their daughter they were actually seeing.

Looking around, I didn’t see any young boy that could conveniently fall into the category of the word ‘young’. The space was filled with ‘big old men’ and many young girls, but I was not bothered.
As we moved more into the night, I noticed that Dorcas had drifted away from me, she was laughing off already in the company of two old men. At a point, I didn’t see her again and I just concluded she had gone to the other side of the space with her newly found friends.

While I was doing my thing, my eyes got in contact with a pot-bellied man for the third time. I saw him as he finally got up, making a move towards me.
While I was still wondering, “who will talk to this pot-bellied, overfed man,” he got to touch me on my shoulders.

And since my short dress was barely covering my backside and my boobs, the man must have been drunk with all other revealing parts of my body that he saw.
Before I could say Jack, I was already in a seat alone with our dear ‘Wonderman’ (that was what he called himself). He was quite a funny man and I said in my mind he wouldn’t be a bad friend for the night.
After a while, he asked us to move down a room. The hall was already getting deserted with only few people left and the few people left were all in pairs. I tried Dorcas’ number, it was switched off so I decided to follow ‘Wonderman’, since it was my last resort.

When we got in, he went straight to the bathroom and within few minutes, returned in only his underwear.
I had watched a few of Nollywood movies with this kind of scene and it was almost looking like another one was about to play out; in which I was fast becoming the star actress. I could not breathe properly again, my heart was beating faster than necessary.
I decided to think back at what pushed me to the situation I was, with a man old enough to be my dad, all alone in this well-furnished room.
Wonderman did not allow me enter deep into my thoughts before he jerked me back to life again by touching my shoulder…(my shoulder again!).
When I looked at him, his face had already changed. He was not looking like the person I met outside minutes back, he was looking like one who will get anything done at all costs.
The expression on his face, his body movements all suggested he was only waiting for me to make a move. A move that I was not sure what exactly he wanted.

His hands had already made for my boobs and… I was freaking hot already, but was not sure of what exactly I wanted.
I was already enjoying the guilty, but sweet feeling, before my senses returned. I quickly looked around, picked up my bag which I had dropped somehow, and ran out of the room.
It was close to midnight, so there was really nowhere for me to go, but I managed to get a taxi which took me straight home.

After taking my bath, I played the scene all over again. And although I enjoyed the aspect where he was beginning to fondle with my bosom, I just told myself, “that’s exactly how prostitution starts.”
What would I have told Abiola whom I was seriously considering as a future partner?
Well… I didn’t do anything silly. I was glad as I sneaked into my blanket and slept off almost immediately. What a day it was for me!

PDP IS IN A COMA: THEIR SENATORS WILL SOON DEFECTS EN-MASS TO APC-NDUME

Mohammed Ali Ndume , Senate leader, says many PDP Senators will soon defected to APC, in an interview with Leadership Newspaper, Ndume  said;
"Yes, because PDP is in a coma and only God knows when it will recover. As you can see now, they do not have any doctor or pharmacist and the only nurse is Olisa Metuh. I am part of some of the APC members trying to convince some of them over to move over to our side and they will soon move in their numbers in the Senate. So, when you tell me that APC members are going over to the PDP, it is strange to me because like I said earlier, I am trying to convince some of my colleagues over to the APC. And you know that electoral shock is worse than electric shock. That was what PDP suffered and they had a relapse again by the decisions at the tribunals so, we do not know when they will get out of it"he said

Ndume also spoke on why APC senators stood against the motion seeking to pay N5,000 allowance to unemployed Nigerians as promised during their campaign period
"I think that there was a political ambush there, if not, how would the senators of the Federal Republic tell the president to start the implementation of payment of N5000 to youths who are not working. I was of the opinion that if they were serious and patriotic about it, and that is why I wanted to amend the motion, that the Senate would have asked the president to bring a supplementary budget to cover such expense. That what I wanted to amend but that would have been a better prayer to ask Mr President to bring to the National Assembly, a supplementary budget that will be approved to enable him to start implementing the payment of N5000 to indigent people. The president cannot just pay such monies, where will he get it from without Appropriation? So, the National Assembly cannot be part of that unless the resources were appropriated for and the president says he has only about 30 million in the bank. You cannot use that to pay people. PDP wanted to use that for a cheap blackmail but that did not work, Nigerians are more educated than that. But the president is still serious about it and we are looking for all avenues to be able to raise resources to be able to execute the project which is laudable. I am sure that by 2016 when the budget is brought room will be made for it. Also, you have to build a data base because if you start paying, who will you pay to? The first thing now is for the government to be able to have the statistics of all those concerned, the indigent, the unemployed, the elderly and then you know where they are including their data before you start payment"he said.

YOU NEED TO READ THIS : CONFESSIONS OF HIGH PROFILE EDO KIDNAP SUSPECTS

The commando-like operation was that of kidnap! The armed invaders numbering eight, reportedly positioned themselves strategically within the house of Dr. Paul Erie, an associate professor of agricultural economics at the Department of Agricultural Economics and Extension, Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Ekpoma, on June 16, 2015, at Igbanke, Orhionmwon Local Government Area of Edo State. Time was 8pm. While some of them barged into the sitting room without knocking, others stayed outside to ward off intruders.

Crime Guard gathered that that Dr Erie’s case was not the first of its kind in Igbanke. In fact, some indigenes that came visiting during festive periods are frequently kidnapped, only to be released after payment of ransom.

Erie’s devastated family, was asked to drop N900,000 next day at a designated point at the instruction of his abductors who promised to release him later that day.

But the culprits never lived up to their promise as Erie’s apprehensive family members waited in vain for his return, without any explanation from his abductors on reasons for the delay.

The worst fears of the anxious family were however confirmed four months after, following the arrest of the suspected kidnappers by men of the Anti-Kidnapping Team set up by the Edo State Commissioner of Police, Mr Chris Ezike, where it was discovered to the chagrin of all, that Dr Erie had been murdered!

During interrogation, the suspects disclosed that the remains of Dr. Erie had been buried in a shallow grave in their hideout located inside a forest at Igbanke

Surprisingly, one of the suspects was discovered to be an in-law to the deceased. He is Lucky Amiehi, the suspected leader of the kidnap syndicate that had been terrorizing Igbanke and the entire Edo State. In this interview with Crime Guard, Amiehi (33), a welder who admitted to have been behind several kidnaps said “I started kidnapping since 2012 and we were more than eight initially. Some of our members are no longer in Nigeria. “But whenever business was low, I focused on my welding job”,

He was however quick to state that he never knew that late Erie was his in-law until the gang’s sinister motive was accomplished. Hear him: “Yes, I was among those that went to kidnap Prof. from his house. I never knew him by his name. But he was popularly called ‘Prof.’ We never planned to kill him. His death was an error on the part of my colleagues.

After we succeeded in abducting him from his house, we drove straight to the bush where we kept him. We did not blindfold him, but only advised him to cooperate with us. Next day, I contacted his wife and demanded for N10 million ransoms. But she pleaded that she could only raise N900,000 and I told her where to take the money to.

“Immediately after the conversation, I went back to the bush only to discover that Prof.’s mouth was tied with his singlet. When I asked why, they told me that he attempted to raise the alarm when he heard footsteps. “But on close observation, I discovered that he was motionless. Immediately, I untied his mouth.

Yet, he did not move. I called the attention of the boys that tied him up, but they claimed he was only pretending. Since it was raining, I let him be, with the hope that he would be revived by the rain. That evening, I went to the meeting point to collect the N900,000 ransom from his wife.     “But to my surprise, I later discovered that he was my in-law.

My sister was married to Prof’s younger brother who died about five years ago. She had a son for him. Though I visited her while her late husband was alive, I never met Prof. It was when my relative told  me that my sister’s brother in-law had been kidnapped and described his house to me, that I realised I had shot myself in the leg.

“I never gave anyone information on Prof. In fact, one of us wanted to kidnap him before now. But by the time they went, they discovered he had left for Ekpoma Campus of AAU, where he was a lecturer. On the day he was eventually kidnapped, I was informed he was around. In fact, two members of our gang had to keep watch on his apartment before our arrival.”

“We treat our victims like VIPs.” “We never beat our victims because someone who wants to give you money does not deserve to be beaten. Rather, we treated them like VIPs. We never meant to kill Prof. His death was an error. The singlet used to tie his mouth was mistakenly used to tie his nose as well. He could have suffocated.”

Amiehi disclosed further that, before the abduction of late Dr Erie, an indigene of Igbanke who came visiting from Port Harcourt, River State, Mr Abel Ushagwu, : “The man worked in an oil firm in Port Harcourt. He visited the village for burial. On his way back from the funeral ceremony, we laid ambush for him in front of his house, was also taken to the bush, from where he was released after N5 million was paid as ransom.

Amiehi revealed that he got N600,000 out of the amount, and added we also had the intention of selling the victim’s car. But it was tracked by the police to where we packed it.

“I was also responsible for the abduction of two Chinese men along Esan Road. We drove them to the bush as usual but they later escaped. They were able to escape because after each kidnap, we usually stayed distance away from where our victims were kept. That way, policemen will not be able to trace our exact location, should they be tracking our calls.”

Asked how they were  able to abduct the Chinese men, he said: “We laid ambush for them along the expressway and struck when they slowed down on approaching a bad spot.”   Also asked how they were able to cover their tracks in the bush without being noticed by villagers who have farmlands around their den, he said victims were usually warned in their own interest to keep quiet since they were not going to be used for rituals.

He further explained that most times, they monitored farmers before leaving or going to visit their den. “I also changed my clothes any time I was going out of the bush so as not to arouse farmers’ suspicion. Besides, the forest is very far from villagers farmlands, so no one could easily see our victims.”

Business, according to him, sometimes went sour, particularly when they discovered that their victims were poor. “Most times, it was women that turned out to be poor victims. And these people were usually those kidnapped outside Igbanke. Any time such persons were kidnapped, we would allow them to go because our purpose of kidnapping in the first place was to make money.”

Asked what he used the money realised from the illicit business for, he replied in a harsh tone: “Ah! Ah! Why are you asking me such question? Am I not a family man? It is expected that I should have expenses as a family man. I have a wife and two children who are students.”

When asked if his wife was aware that he was into kidnapping, he replied: “No, she was not. I did not even give her any reasonable amount any time business boomed, or must I tell my wife everything? She does not have to know everything about me simply because she is my wife. Whenever I went out for an operation, whether at night or in the day time, I didn’t need her approval. And whenever I returned, she won’t ask me where I went to.”

Arrested alongside Amiehi were Usiagwu Stephen (68), Jeremiah Amayo (40), Samson Idegbema (39), Eboigbe Monday, Ejimeh Oyairie (55), Benjamin Blessing (27) and Odion Otabo (40). Some of them confessed their culpability in several kidnaps in the state while others claimed to be victims of circumstance, appealing to the police to pardon them.
