AIR FORCE OFFICER STABS NDLEA OFFICIAL AT LAGOS AIRPORT !

 There was drama at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport earlier yesterday as an official of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) was stabbed by a Nigeria Air Force (NAF) officer during a disagreement.

According to reports, the officers engaged in a heated argument over when they should close for the day.

The officers who work at the Hajj and Cargo Terminal international wing of the airport reportedly agreed to close by 7pm for some security reasons. At about 5pm, the Nigeria Air Force officer went against their agreement and asked everyone to leave the terminal. The NDLEA asked him to wait till 7pm as they had all agreed. This led to a heated argument which degenerated into a Physical fight. As the officers fought, it is alleged that another Air Force officer stepped in to defend his colleague and he stabbed the NDLEA official.

The injured NDLEA officer who was bleeding profusely was rushed to the hospital.

2019 ELECTION : MAJOR AL-MUSTAPHA FLOATS NEW PARTY (GREEN PARTY OF NIGERIA)

The former Chief Security officer (CSO) to late General Sani Abacha, Maj. Hamza Al-Mustapha has floated a new political party ahead of the 2019 election. In a statement on Thursday, April 20, Al-Mustapha who in 2013 said he had no intention to venture into politics, announced officially, that the party will be called Green Party of Nigeria (GPN).

'Finally, the real people’s Party has landed. Please give praise to our Creator for a rare beautiful gift to the people. The future is GPN and GPN is the Future, he said.

Al-Mustapha in 1993 was accused of the murder of Kudirat Abiola, the wife of late Chief Moshood Abiola.He stood trial for the murder and was sentenced to death by Mojisola Dada, justice of the Federal High Court, Lagos,on January 30, 2012, but was discharged and acquitted by the Court of Appeal in 2013

 Victor Emmanuel, 45, who has been arrested by officers of the Lagos State Police Command for allegedly impregnating a 13-year-old girl, has asserted that he sees nothing wrong with that.

Confessing to committing the said crime, Victor who is a tailor,  said;

“I didn’t rape her! We are in a relationship. We’re even planning to get married. We have been dating for 8 months now. The girl’s parents know me. Yes, I know she’s pregnant for me.
I have accepted the pregnancy and I’m already taking care of her. I have started the marriage rites. In fact, the girl’s parents had been collecting money from me. I have paid N20,000 to them for introduction and to buy drinks.

They have also asked me to bring N100,000, out of which I have paid N64,000. The school authority said she was too young. The school authority insisted that I should come to the school. When I got to the school, I was arrested.”

However, the Investigating Police Officer (IPO), Sergeant Mary Ikumo, said that the victim’s parents claimed not to know or had ever set eyes on Emmanuel, alleging that their daughter, who is just in primary six, was raped by Emmanuel.

“The mother of the victim said she didn’t know the suspect from Adam. The mother said that the girl used to hawk plantain and the suspect was one of her customers. He used to tip the girl N500 every time he buys plantain from her. One day, he pulled her into his shop and raped her” he said.

News Telegraph reported that Victor who is from Imo State, was arrested by detectives attached to the Ajangbadi Police Station,, after the victim’s school alerted them. The police said that the suspect raped the girl and described her as a minor.

Sad ! Over 30 football fans watching the UEFA Europa League football quarter-final match between Manchester United and Anderlecht, lost their lives in an electrocution tragedy which happened at a viewing center in Nyahasang, Atimbo Calabar, Cross River state last night.

According to reports, a transformer near the viewing center fell which caused one of the high tension cables attached to the transformer to fall on the zinc of the viewing center building. At least 30 people died from the electrocution while the few that survived were badly burnt and have been taken to Cross River state Teaching hospital. May their souls rest in peace. Amen. BREAKING : TOTTENHAM YOUTH COACH UGO EHIOGU IS DEAD!

The Youth coach of Premier league club, Tottenham, Ugo Ehiogu,has passed on. According to Tottenham's official website, the Nigerian/Briton died this morning after he was rushed to hospital by ambulance after suffering a heart attack on Thursday .

Ehiogu played for Aston Villa and Middlesbrough over 350 times and also represented England four times. He was aged 44 and is survived by a wife and son. May his soul rest in peace...
