MAN WAS FOUND DEAD WITH GUNSHOT WOUNDS METERS AWAY FROM FIANCE'S HOME IN DELTA STATE!

Late Mr Emeka Anionwu's family , 27, has refused to accept police investigation and revelation that their son was killed by armed robbers.

According to source,Emeka was found dead with gunshots wounds a few meters away from the gates of his fiancĂ©, Chioma Iwuchukwu’s home.

The Delta State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), a Chief Superintendent of Police (ACP), Mr Andrew Aniamaka, said that Emeka was shot by robbers who raided his fiance’s father's home.
The deceased’s family had, however, described the police report as "cheap cover-up to avoid uncovering premeditated murder."

Aniamaka, in a situation report explained that three armed men, believed to be armed robbers, tried to rob Emeka, but he allegedly resisted and was consequently shot dead.
The image maker added: “That is the much we know for now. But we are investigating to bring these robbers to book. We’re already working on it. Immediately we got wind of the attack, our men, led by a Superintendent of Police (SP) moved to the scene, unfortunately, the robbers had fled. We only had to convey the corpse to the mortuary, and took inventory of their expended cartridges.”

The deceased’s sister, Linian said: "No robber killed my brother. He was murdered! The police have a duty to find out the truth. My late brother and Chioma had been dating for two years now, and her parents, just like ours, are aware of the relationship. Whether her father approves of the affair is no longer the issue here.

“On that fateful day, Chioma came to our Edejeba home to meet Emeka. He had just returned from offshore work. They left around 5pm to Enerhen, where her father’s home was located. They were supposed to return to Edejeba, but they stayed back on Chioma's insistence that her parents, who travelled, would no longer return till the next day.

"When Chioma's father visited the Enerhen Police Station the following day, he initially labeled my brother, in his first statement, as one among a robbery gang that attacked his home and got killed. He never mentioned that my brother was a guest of daughter. And that the lovers slept in his house, in company of Chioma's brother.

"The DPO was shocked after hearing my statement and that of Chioma. It was in my presence he called the Investigating Police Officer (IPO) to ask Chioma’s father to change his statement on caution. He told him that the matter was not of robbery, but suspected murder case. Chioma and his father knew how and why my brother had to die. They need to be questioned."
The deceased’s aunt, Jane Anionwu said: "We were summoned by the Delta State Commissioner of Police a couple of days after my nephew died. I told him that Chief Athan, Chioma’s father, has a case to answer.”

When contacted, Athan declined to speak much on the issue, stating that the matter was already before the police. He said that it was best to allow the police to do their job.

SUSPECTED HUMAN TRAFFICKER ARRESTED FOR INSERTING HOT BOILING RING INTO VICTIM'S VAGINA !

Miss Rita Chinenye Ani, Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirate UAE) based, has been arrested along with her elder sister, Ngozi Stella Nnamani Ani (A.K.A Princess) by operatives of the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP).

Rita, it was learnt  just returned home from Abu Dhabi to perform her traditional marriage rites preparatory to moving to the United Kingdom with her fiancĂ©, was arrested in Ibadan by the newly established NAPTIP- Rapid Response Squad (NAPTIP-RRS).

Head, Press and Public Relations (NAPTIP), Josiah Emerole, said: “The lid on these suspects was blown recently after one of the victims returned from Abu Dhabi after four months of forced prostitution by Rita and under very excruciating conditions, including flogging and the insertion of hot boiling ring into her vagina when she did not make enough money a day and forceful collection of the proceeds of the prostitution from her by Rita.”

Yesterday, four persons, including Rita, Ngozi were arraigned before a Federal Capital Territory (FCT) High Court sitting in Maitama, Abuja for engaging in human trafficking. The other two are Ozigi Abdulkarim and Princewill James.
Emerole said that the four defendants, two males and two females, were arraigned before the court presided over by Hon. Justice Yusuf Halilu by NAPTIP.

The defendants were taken to court by NAPTIP on a 10 count charge that ran contrary to Sections 13, 14, 18 and 26(b) of the Trafficking in Persons (Prohibition) Enforcement and Administration Act, 2015. The NAPTIP legal team was led by Mr Aondona Orti, Chief Legal Officer.
The defendants were recently arrested by operatives of NAPTIP in two operations in Gwarimpa, Abuja and Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.

Emerole said: “The victim, who is 19 years old, was recruited from Gwarimpa, Abuja by her ex-boyfriend Ozigi Abdulkarim, Ngozi Stella Ani and Princewill James for onward transfer to Rita Ani in Abu Dhabi UAE. They prepared her travel documents, took her to Ogbomoso, Oyo State where fetish oath was administered on her before the journey.”

When the case came up yesterday, the four defendants, who were represented by counsel pleaded not guilty to the 10 counts charge proffered against them. Counsel to Rita and Ngozi did not file a formal application for bail; hence the Presiding Judge ordered that they be remanded in prison custody. Their Counsel had earlier made an oral application to the court for them to be remanded in NAPTIP custody which the court turned down.

Abdulkarim and James on the other hand, had through their Counsel, M. Ojobor and Ugochukwu Opara made a formal application for their bail. The Judge granted them bail based on the conditions that they must provide two sureties each and that the sureties must not be below the rank of a Director in the Public Service in Abuja.

The sureties, who must own a house each in the FCT, must show proof of being in service by presenting their letters of first appointment and last promotion.
The case was subsequently adjourned to September 13, 2017 for hearing.

PHOTOS: TRIBUTE TO TAX GURU "OLANIKE DISU" WHO DIED 24-HOURS AFTER HER BIRTHDAY....BY T.Y BELLO

Top celebrity photographer, TY Bello, has paid tribute to tax guru, Olanike Disu who died  24 hours after celebrating her birthday.

TY recounted some of the beautiful moments she had with the deceased thus:

“I remember meeting her many weeks ago ..she walked up to me and asked if I was TY Bello.. the photographer ..”I’ve been looking for you ” she said.. She pulled me in .. looked straight into my eyes and said ‘ I really really want you to take my portraits .. I’m terminally ill . I’d like your images of me to be what people remember me by ..’ I want the photos to be happy and very beautiful I froze.. and tried to pretend like what she just said didn’t knock all the air out of Me..but she never stopped smiling .. ‘ when do we take these photos Ty?..she had said something so heavy .. so profound and I didn’t know how to respond.
We exchanged numbers and she sent me a message soon after ..but I still didn’t know how to take it in..until one morning ..I was praying and reading Isaiah 61:The spirit of the lord is upon me .. anointed me ..to bring beauty for ashes .. the oil of joy for mourning .. then I heard .. “call Mrs Disu. ”
I did .. and I gifted her a portrait session for a few days later ..

She came in a little quiet at first but I saw her spirit lift as the hair and makeup started to come together .. “TY!! I look beeeeautiful.. ” that was how a most amazing day began with this beautiful woman with very deep dimples ..we had a blast!! .. singing .. dancing .. playing dress up with her daughter .. Belly laughs ..we had an incredible session . At some point in the middle of the shoot .. as we changed outfits ..she looked excitedly at me and said .. TY .. you know what? IM GOING TO BEAT THIS THING! ..
I looked at her and responded .. ‘that’s the spirit .. you absolutely will!!’She gave me a High five and we continued one of my most exciting shoots till date . She ended the day by saying a heartfelt prayer for me . I remember telling someone her shoot was Gods gift to me .. she brought it all to me .. beauty in the purest form and the oil of Joy in Isaiah 61..I was so inspired and lifted .. it also helped me put what I do into proper perspective .. that its really not about me and my gift .. that the people I get to meet ,bond with and photograph are Gods gift to me .
Mrs Disu sent me prayers .. bible verses and inspiring write-ups every day after taking her photographs .. she also sent a beautiful thank you note when she got her photos .. and found time to send gifts to the beauty squad she met at the shoot .

It was her birthday last sunday .. her daughter told me she was so happy .. she also did something really strange .. she kept sending her portraits to every one she knew .. “she was up till the wee hours of the next morning sending out the photos .. and laughing .. we kept teasing her about it but she wouldn’t stop” . She died later on that day .. I guess it was her way of saying goodbye .

I remember @freezeedah sending me news of her passing .. I was a mess .. I was shocked ..and disappointed ..she was meant to beat this .. she had changed the narrative ..she told me herself .. !
I didn’t understand it .. until I got to spend a few hours with her children two days ago . They described what her last days were like .. she way joyful.. peaceful .. she found her own way to say goodbye .. she was ready .

As I sat in her Wake keeping today and listened to person after person come out and testify about her beautiful spirit and how she lived everyday to the fullest .. I also remember certain things she said to me during the shoot .. how she wanted her children to know she gave it EVERYTHING and did her very best .
It occurred to me .. she was right .. she did ‘beat this thing ‘ .. !she didn’t let it stop her from living .. till she took her last breath ..she lived and loved and laughed and smiled till the very end !! She was ready ..She was prepared .. unfortunately most people don’t get that opportunity .. to prepare for eternity .. and say goodbye .

It got me thinking .. if we all lived 100 years more .. it still would go by really fast .. the Bible says our lives are live vapor.. eternity is certain and every day is one day closer to when we meet our maker .. but are we ready .. that’s the question .

Goodbye Mrs Disu meeting you was wonderful .#LIFE”

"WHY I'M OFF MUSIC SCENE FOR A WHILE"~~BUSOLA OKE

An inspirational singer, Busola Oke, aka  Eleyele,  has been off the music scene for a while.
In her recent telephone chat with Saturday Beats, the singer said she had to stay back abroad where her husband is based.

“I have been away for a long time. I am married to somebody who doesn’t stay in Nigeria. I had to stay with my family to take care of the kids.”

Busola went further to say that; “My husband understands that my music has been affected for a while because of this break. I have handed everything over to God. Now I am back and it is for good. MAN FAKES OWN KIDNAP TO COLLECT MONEY FROM HIS WIFE !

The Benue Police Command has arrested one Clement Silver, 49,a resident at Odozi Street, Agbor, for allegedly arranging his own kidnapping in order to fraudulently obtaining money from his wife.
Clement Silver  was arrested  at his hideout beside Camelite Paint, Agbor, Delta state, alongside his accomplice, Mr. Sunday Kibechukwu, 33, who acted as the kidnapper.

The suspect while confessing to the crime said he; “I connived with Sunday to frame my kidnap in order to collect money from my wife because I needed it to boost my business with the intention of paying her back after my business improves.

I chose not to ask my wife to loan me the money because I am very convinced that she will not give me the money and the only way for me to achieve this was to frame my kidnap.”

On his part, Sunday who hails from Aniocha North LGA of Delta State, noted that Silver lured him into involving in the crime with a promise to return the money and also give him N10, 000 to treat the injury he sustained while working at a bakery in Boji-Boji Owa.

It was gathered that the suspects after the kidnap had contacted Silver’s wife and demanded a ransom of N1million and directed that the money should be dropped along Benin/Asaba Expressway at Umunede.

In the course of negotiation, she pleaded to pay N300,0000 which they refused. But as fate would have it, Silver was sighted at his hideout and was reported to Agbor Gha-Ihun who quickly moved to arrest the culprits.
