3 NIGERIANS ARRESTED FOR ALLEGEDLY PLANING TO LAUNDER DRUG MONEY

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Wednesday arrested three Nigerian members code named Bread, Butter and Egg;  who were allegedly planning to launder money in connivance with a US national and three Indians, one of them a banker.

NCB deputy director general Rajesh Nandan Srivastav said the arrests came after following up on information about an international racket involved in the smuggling and sale of drugs and money laundering activities.

“NCB officials zeroed in on three Nigerian nationals living in Delhi and Gurugram. Butter Nnamani, Eze Naduka Bonaventure, and Kelvin Mansary alias Ben were caught on March 3 and 4 in separate operations. We also recovered 255 grams of cocaine, 350 grams of heroin and 100 grams of methamphetamine from them,” KPS Malhotra, zonal director, NCB’s Delhi unit, said.

During the interrogation, Malhotra said, Ben told the NCB officials that he was a pointsman for sale of drugs collected from Nnamani and Naduka. Ben had a fake passport and had no valid document for his stay in India, Malhotra said.

“Their interrogation, as well as examination of gadgets, pointed towards their involvement in money laundering activities and names of some of their associates also emerged. One of them, a south Delhi-based real estate company owner, regularly bought drugs from these foreigners,” Malhotra said.

“The businessman’s interrogation revealed that they were planning to get ?16 crore transferred to the USA illegally. A man named Vishal, who is lodged in a Delhi jail on murder charges, and a US national, were involved in the planning. They had access to some dormant accounts in which huge amounts were parked. As per their plan, they wanted to transfer the money from the dormant accounts to various new accounts,” Srivastav said.

“The US national was in Delhi in December and January and had meetings with a bank official, who agreed to arrange the necessary clearance for the illegal transfer of funds. He was paid ?10 lakh as token money. The entire planning was done by Vishal,” Srivastav said, adding that the enforcement directorate (ED) is being roped in for acting on the money laundering information

OBASHIP STOOL IN YORUBA LAND IS NOT AN ISLAMIC OR CHRISTIAN INSTITUTION

Certain purported bill titled Ogun state Traditional Rulers ( Institution and Burial Rites) Bill 2020, as sponsored by  Ogun state lawmaker Honorable Balogun Akeem Agbolade in which he tried to advocate strange burial rite after the demises of our Obas in Ogun stste is a sacrilege , and such law must not see the day light.

sometime ago during the 80th birthday anniversary of His Majesty Alayeluwa Oba Sikiru Kayode Adetona ,Ogbagba II,the  Awujale of Ijebuland,  a first class king of another town, the Degburewe of Idowa, Oba Adekoya, made mention  that the Awujale summoned all the Ijebu Obas to a meeting and imformed them that henceforth any Oba that joined his ancestors must be burried according to his religion, thereby  eradicate the age long tradition of secrecy pertaining to the custom and tradition of Obaship burial rites

When i heard the abpve statement ,i thought it was a joke; but with rescent development i am rude shocked that  our lawmakers and Obas wanted to introduce another  strange doctrine to our sacred custom and tradition of Obaship institution.

An Oba is not an Imam or Bishop, furthermore any Prince that asparing to occupy the exalted stool of Obaship must know that  such intuitution is a traditional one nature which are shrouded in secrecy  perfomed by Osugbos and others, meaning, its uncalled for after you have subjected to the rules,, regulations, doctrines and practice of that instutuitin, such individual cannot seeing to be complaining there after, especialy after enjoyed the prestige and accolade of Obaship.

Nigeria is a secular state that recognize all religion be it Christianity, Islamic and traditional belief; hence our Obaship institution falls under the traditional belief.

According to the Oluwo of Ilu Iperu,High Chief Ifaola S.Opeodu "all our Obas voluntary joined that traditional instutuition and willfully surrendered themselves to such tradition before and after their instalation. To direct Muslim or Christian to bury the corpes of Traditionalists or demise Oba will lead to chaos ,pandemonium and state of anarchy"

Futhermore, to prevent the above looming crises in the future, this proposed bill most be throw out of the window. In addition, any Oba that feels he has tired of ISESE can abdicate the throne for the person who can keep our culture and traditional instutuition intact.

OLAJUMOKE'S CELEBRITY HAS BEEN OF A HINDRANCE THAN A BLESSING~BABY DADDY

Do you still remember the  bread hawker turned model,  Olajumoke Orisaguna, simply called 'Olajumoke', the baby daddy has revealed that things have taken a downward turn for them, even as he spoke about her rudeness towards him.
In an interview with Eelive, he said Jumoke’s celebrity status has been more of a hindrance than a blessing.

“Sujimoto has been of tremendous help to us, though he couldn’t help me as he promised. I appreciate that it was him God used to put a roof over our heads.

Every time I attempt to get a job, I get scorned because they keep seeing the mother of my children as a superstar. I can work even at car-wash outlets, as long as the job is legitimate, I don’t mind. That’s how bad things are,” he said.

Although they live together and have two children, the lovers are not married; a situation that Sunday blames Olajumoke for.

“My parents had sent words to her mother for about three years now that it was time to formalise our union but Olajumoke has continued to turn down the proposal while insisting that the time isn’t right yet. So, marriage or no marriage is up to her.

I think she was better when she was with Azuka because Azuka and TY Bello have great connections that paid Olajumoke more. I just know her manager calls her, they go out and return late.

Sometimes she returns as late as past 12am and without explanations. She doesn’t even tell me where they go and what happens. To be honest with you, I’ve had to be tolerating her rudeness. .

She talks to me recklessly and I get very upset. I know her attitude to me is this reckless because I’m not rich or have a robust means of income.”

However, on her own part, Olajumoke said: “The world expects more from me. That’s why I want to own my house before the expiration of the 5-year rent which Sujimoto paid on my apartment at Surulere, Lagos.

It’s a tastefully furnished apartment and it was Azuka who spoke to her friend, Sujimoto, who later got us the place. She was also the one who spoke to the Payporte CEO who gave me one year contract. God will provide. I trust Him, He never fails me.”
