HIP-HOP SINGER AND PIANIST ARRESTED FOR ROBBERY IN LEKKI

The Rapid Response Squad unit of the Lagos Police Command has arrested Chinonso Michael said to be an Afro hip-hop singer and pianist, Chimelu Victory for robbery.

The suspects who were arrested last week Wednesday alongside 5 other suspects at their residence at 4, Modupe Young Thomas Estate in Ajah, said they were pushed into robbery due to the Coronavirus pandemic and hunger.

It was gathered that they had on April 10, 2020, ordered a pay on delivery iPhone 11 Pro Max valued at N450,000 from an online platform. After the delivery man identified as Anifowoshe Itunu arrived at a service apartment in Ajah, Chimelu who was the buyer generated a fake alert to the rider first and later, with the connivance of Chinonso escaped from the apartment after they had tied him down with a bottle of beer.

They sold the iPhone 11 Pro Max to a buyer in Ogba, Ikeja, Lagos, for the sum of N350,000 transferred into Chinoso’s bank account.

Upon sighting the police officers who were trying to effect their arrest, the suspects jumped off from the first floor of their apartment naked.  Chinonso fractured his arm and bruised his chin immediately he landed on the ground floor. He then instantly took to the streets naked before he was arrested and taken to the hospital.

The suspects who confessed to the crime revealed that it was the third time they sold iPhone 11 Pro Max during the COVID-19 lockdown, adding that two of the phones were carted online with stolen credit cards.

They said they've been unable to make income since the clubs they played regularly at have been shut down due to the Coronavirus pandemic. The suspects said;

“During the lock down there was nothing going and we didn’t have anything to eat for like two – weeks.

“We were already owing all the store owners in the neighbourhood. Nobody was ready to give us credit anymore. We had to device a means to survive the lock down."

Chinonso who just changed his stage name from Authority to Happy-Boy, said he joined Chimelu who was his music teacher in Aba at his Ajah residence in March 2020.

Chimelu, popularly called Apostle Swag said he recently resigned as a Lekki church keyboardist to pursue a career in music. He further disclosed that "the plan of a service  apartment was to create the impression that they live there in the mind of the despatch rider.”

One iPhone 11Pro Max, three laptops, two flash drives, two WiFi connection modems, two memory cards, four SIM cards, one Samsung phone and one iPhone were recovered from the suspects who admitted that they engage in internet fraud apart from their musical careers.

The Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) unit of the Lagos state police have taken over the case for further investigations and prosecution.

PROPHET S K ABIARA SPEAKS ON HAVING SETS OF TWINS WITH HIS NEW WIFE

Prophet Samuel Kayode Abiara, the retired General Evangelist Worldwide of the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC),in this chat with the Nation, speaks on finding love again, having kids and more.
Prophet Abiara said “I feel so good. You can see me. The woman takes good care of me. She is a woman God gave me. She is a good woman. She takes care of me. She has respect for me; she has respect for all my children.

All my children love her so much and they take care of her. I enjoy her company. She is like my former wife. I thank God Almighty for giving me a woman like her.

Most female pastors do not remarry after losing their partners. But that is not the case with male pastors…

It is their choice. I think many female pastors prefer not to marry because they want to take care of their children, and you cannot blame them.

But if they decide to marry, it is not a bad thing, because it is in the Bible. Those who want to marry among them get married; it is their own choice. And those who do not want to marry, it is their choice”

When asked if he will have kids kids with her, he responded saying “Will you help me to take care of them? But if God gives me two or three sets of twins because of this lady who is taking good care of me, I will praise God and the whole world will rejoice with me, and you journalists will join me in celebrating. It will be news all over the world that I have twins again. I dey kampe.”

According to human right activist,Kenneth Chuma Nwaka, " Last night(june 6th) at around 10pm, I got a distress call on a case of defilement & threat to life. I swung into action this morning & learnt  Mr Obasi aged 70 from Aboh Mbaise defiled little xxxx aged 10. The victim revealed there was penile penetration, was threatened with a gun never to speak out on the abuse or get killed. The act had been carried out on more than five(5) occasions. She is from a very poor background , she is yet to receive any form of medical attention. Investigation & prosecution to commence tomorrow, she will be taken to a hospital tomorrow for proper medical check..We won't relent until we stamp out such abuses."

However, three day later, the resentless activist wrote an update on his facebook profile page thus:"We left Owerri for Mbaise at about 5:28am after three days of  painstaking intelligence tracking of the suspect. I led my team to his hideout, fished him out & he is currently chilling in detention. More than four girls aged below 10 have been molested sexually by this old beast, I mean actual penile penetration without protection. Little Miss xxxx aged 10 is battling serious infection, treatment has actually commenced on her. Our efforts weren't in vain, we rejected a "bribe" of #100,000. Matter to be transferred to Enugu for prosecution by NAPTIP. #36,400 spent on this matter from my personal pocket with no single help but it's worth it..#NO RAPE..NO PAIN"
