DOMESTIC VIOLENCE IS REAL: HOW MY DAD STABBED MY MUM TO DEATH 13 TIMES - NICK BANKS



On March 21 1997, Nick Banks' mother was stabbed to death by his father. He stabbed her 13 times before Nick's sister while Nick was sleeping. Two days ago, on what would have been his mother's 52nd birthday; he shared her photos and wrote:
"My Father Stabbed My Mother To Death 13 Times In Front of My Sister While I Was Asleep In The House. Today She Would Have Been 52 Years Old. Domestic Violence Is Very Real. I Share This Story Every Year To Let People Know That Things In Our Lives Happen That'll Leave You Stuck With Two Options...Let It Hinder You Or Rise Above It. She Would Have Wanted Me To Rise. Happy Birthday Mom. R.I.H. February 12th 1964 - March 21st 1997."



SAD: MAN ELECTROCUTED WHILE TRYING TO STEAL CABLES FROM TRANSFORMER IN EKITI !

3-YEAR OLD BOY MERCILESSLY FLOGGED BY HIS TEACHER !!!



According to Segun Oyenubi, who shared the photos on Facebook, this 3yr old boy was mercilessly flogged by his teacher in school on Wednesday last week for not telling her he wanted to go to the toilet, and instead urinating and stooling on his body. ‎The boy's family stormed the school. From a bread seller to a model and is now on her way to gaining International fame and prominence.


TY Bello says why Olajumoke's story connects with everyone is because everybody has a dream and is looking for that magical break

"I think the reason why the story connects with everyone is because everybody has dreams. This is a very very tough time, especially in my country. Everyone is looking for that magical break I don't think anyone planned this. I think this is definitely divine because the way people have connected with it is phenomenal. Its a phenomenal story"she said


A teary Olajumoke said she never expected her fortunes to turn around like this
"I never expected that this could ever happen to me. My friends have told me they saw me on TV and they are really happy. My parents cannot believe their own child can become such a success. They are all so happy."she said



BUHARI SACK HEADS OF NTA-FRCN-VON-NOA ETC



President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the sack of the heads of the six information-related parastatals under the ministry of information and culture. According to a statement shared on the Federal Ministry of Information and Culture's Facebook wall, Lai Mohammed, who is the Minister of information and culture announced their sack at a meeting he held with the chief executives. The statement reads;

"The Federal Government has disengaged the heads of the six information-related parastatals under the Ministry of Information and Culture. The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, announced the disengagement during a meeting he held with the Chief Executives of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN), Voice of Nigeria (VON), News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Nigerian Broadcasting Commission (NBC) and the National Orientation Agency (NOA) on Monday . The Minister directed the disengaged Chief Executives to hand over to the most senior officials in their various establishments.

 He thanked them for their service to the nation and wished them the best of luck in their future endeavours. The affected Chief Executives are the Directors-General of NTA, Mr. Sola Omole, FRCN (Mr. Ladan Salihu), VON (Mr Sam Worlu), NOA (Mr. Mike Omeri), NBC (Mr. Emeka Mba) and the Managing Director of NAN (Mr. Ima Niboro).
