Adamu Mu'azu, the Peoples
Democratic Party, National Chairman, has resigned his appointment. His
resignation is to take immediate effect.
The Deputy National
Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Prince Uche Secondus has stepped
in as the Acting National Chairman of the party pending a replacement from the
North-east.
"In line with the PDP
Constitution, the Deputy National Chairman of PDP, Prince Uche Secondus has
taken over as the acting national chairman of PDP pending his replacement from
the northeast geo-political zone."
Also , it was reliably
gathered that President Goodluck Jonathan has asked the chairman of PDP Board
of Trustees (BoT), Chief Anthony Anenih, to resign. But it is not known whether
Anenih has accepted to resign or not.
