............truth will definitely come out.

Omoba Toba Omidele III ..........what happened to all MKO businesses ?

Oyenuga Lanre Paul Omoba Toba Omidele III, as much as many may view your question with a sarcastic eye, I will venture to give an answer. The rule of law sustains societies, but in Nigeria, there is only the rule of men. MKO was one of such men. When the man is out in a society such as ours, his control also fizzles out with him. What befell MKO nearly befell OBJ, and shall befall Dangote, Adenuga, Otedola, etc, SO LONG AS WE OPERATE A SYSTEM OF RULE OF MEN. This is why I'm amused at those who think they can keep wealth for generations in Nigeria. Nigeria is a land of Pirates and other Pirates will raid your store once you are outta reckoning. Haven't you seen the battle between Turaya Yar'Adua and DAME over the land in Abuja? That was what became of MKO bizs my bro.
Awolowo was the leader and Akintola was the politician - this is my assessment, understanding of these men. I also believe that Awolowo was a better region leader, premier... Akintola was a better outside, national, international representative. Akintola should have stayed in Lagos. Awolowo spoke truth, and he spoke it as he felt it, this is my personality as well, it isn't the most diplomatic route in the world. But, we must all endeavor to be ourselves, and remain true.....Gody Okeke

Kayode Ogunfeibo It was easy for anyone with his thinking cap on in 1981 to figure out that the Nigerian economy was about to take a big hit. The high oil prices in 1979/80 because of the Iran/Iraq war, had led to double digit inflation in the West and forced their central banks to jack up interest rates, which pushed their economies into recession. That in turn, sharply reduced global demand for oil which is the mainstay of the Nigerian economy. When the price of oil started collapsing from 1981 onwards, the Nigerian economy collapsed with it. What worries me about our present situation is oil prices are sky high, but our foreign reserves are stagnant, because we are spending the oil revenues like drunken sailors. If the oil price collapses again, I shudder to think about the consequences this time around.

John Amadi ReMastered It's truly unfortunate. By now Nigeria should not only be the superpower of Africa but even a world power. With all the man power, resources and space we have we should be a superpower and this is not an exaggeration. We should be better. Lol our leaders are neocolonialist that's why...white men in black skin.
"If debates on national issues are exclusively for the old, if interviews on policies that affect us all are meant for those in power alone, if analysis on pressing and begging matters in our nation are only meant for political office holders, why then are we called the leaders of tomorrow?" - David Oluwasegun Ogundipe

“When we formed the PDP and candidates emerged, the governors earmarked huge amounts of money to buy arms for youth groups so as to use them in winning thte election.
“I met and told them that if they used them and after winning the election, they fail to provide them with jobs, they will rise against the people in their states. These are the youths who later turned into the Niger Delta militants you’ve been hearing about. Also, a similar thing happened in the North, I met a governor and told him that these youths you assembled and called ECOMOG will become dangerous later and that was what eventually happened. I spoke to all these governors, I alerted all of them.”.....Atiku Abubakar

Kolawole Olajubu President, from your nature sir,you dont want to take any action that will offend anybody;either corrupt, thieves, bokoharams, oposition, etc. But no president can move a nation forward by creatin d image of a saint.Thatz why Nigeria is stagnant under yr govt!

A member of the Northern Elders Forum. Professor Ango Abdullahi has sent out a message to Asari informing him that the North are prepared and ready for war.
Professor Ango Abdullahi blame President Goodluck Jonathan for the remark made by Alhaji Dokubo, and stressed that reaction is that, if not for the fact that I am aware that Dokubo is a spokesperson of President Jonathan, I will have ignored him. ....Prof. Ango Abdullahi
