KIND, the Kudirat Initiative for Democracy, founded by Hafsat Abiola-Costello, the daughter of the slain Hajia Kudirat Abiola may institute a civil legal action against the just-freed Major Hamza al-Mustapha, the Chief Security Officer to the late General Sani Abacha.
KIND has expressed ‘shock and disappointment’ at the judgment, and they said they will obtain a copy of the court order and study it to know whether a civil action is the best at this point in time. Well, let’s look at it o: if KIND, that has not taken the judgment kindly, sues Al-Mustapha again, does it mean that the troubles for the Yobe major is not over yet? Or is this just too little too late? Well, time will tell. The drama continues.

I hope she thinks very deep about this before going the line of suing Al-Mustapha in a Nigerian court. She should also think well about the lawyer to use in doing this. I wish her the best of luck.
