It was gather that the residents Ikola Odunsi ,of Gbongan in Osun State, where the late founder of the Christ Revival Victory Chapel International, Ayobo, Ipaja, Lagos, Prophet Ireti Ajanaku, died on Saturday, after a brief illness, were totally surprised when a traditional cult group in the South West of Nigeria, ‘Oro’, held funeral rites in honour of their controversial pastor.
As it
is in the practise of the dreaded ‘’ORO’’cult
group, such rites are held in the middle of the night whenever one of its
members dies and no woman would be allow to witness the rites.
On
Tuesday, at about 12midnight to 3am, members of the ‘Oro’ cult wailed and
chanted the name of the late man of God, mourning his death. ‘’Ajanaku lo,
o di gbere’, meaning ‘Ajanaku is no more, he is gone forever.’’
