AMATAISM: JETA AMATA CAGED HER WIFE THEN MARRIAGE CRASHED

It is no longer news that the popular movie director, Jeta Amata and his beautiful actress wife of five years have parted ways. According to reports, the marriage crashed on Mbong’s insistence over her acting career. 

It was gather that Jeta met Mbong when she was only 16 years old in Calabar in 2001 during a movie audition and they started dating when she turned 18 two years later. The union that later produced a beautiful daughter in 2008.  
Confirming the separation,  Jeta said, “Mbong is an amazing mother, an incredible wife…all the time we were together she would never let any other person cook my food…she was faithful and good to me and gave me the best gift in the world, our beautiful daughter. If I didn’t cage her so much maybe we would still be together. I stole her youth and didn’t let her live her dream so it was better to let her go and find new adventures. She’s happy and so am I. Despite the fact that we are no longer together, we are still good friends. She even lives close to me here in LA. Things are great between us and I’m happy to see her happy.” 

However, what are the problems with the Amatas’, it will be recalled that Fred Amata , also a Nollywood top actor  after divorced his pretty TV personalty Aghata Amata ,went into a relationship with Ibinabo Fiberesima, Actors’ Guild of Nigeria President, an affair that produced a pretty daughter before they parted way. Another relationship with Mor Okonkwo, a single mother with two kids, but also crashed.

Meanwhile, since the separation with Mbong, Jeta seem to have moved on as he is said to be dating an Australian actress, Viva Bianca, best known for her role as Ilithyia in Spartacus.  Although, Jeta ,refused to talk about his relationship with Viva.
