IT IS TIME FOR STELA ODUA TO GO NOW

Are we going to say we are in season for aviation disaster in Nigeria!!!  On Thursday, October3, 2013, the Embraer 120, flight No SCD 361 an Aircraft belong to Associated Airline crashed in Lagos killing 15 passengers out of 20 on board.

Barely 24hours, on Friday October 4, 2013, a Saudi Arabia-bound Kabo plane with 400 passengers crash-landed at Sokoto Airport, with two-burst tires, while another Benin-bound plane coming from Abuja had to return to Abuja after hovering in the air for two hours because it could not land, due to bad weather, that same day.
Again on Sunday October 13,2013, an IRS Airline plane with 89 passengers on board was assisted to land in Kaduna after it developed mechanical problems !!!

The questions are what are actually wrong with all these Aircrafts? Are the operators of this airlines are not doing the necessary turn-around-maintenance on these aircrafts? Or is it that the supervisory authorities are not doing their jobs properly? Or are the operators were using quack pilots to fly these planes? What about the engineers that certified these aircrafts are they qualified?

However, as a Nigerian, am not so that comfortable with the Minister of Aviation, Princess Stella Odua, when she said that the air crashed that was happened is an act of God. That is an understatement,

Ms Odua, to me is just an arrogant public officer that hates constructive criticism.

And this shows us her ‘’lackadaisical attitude of, lack of enthusiasm, lack of good judgement ‘’, and If that is not, why would she said that “When you see ignorant people in particular, I have sympathy for them. This is because when you speak out of context, when you speak under whatever influence you are under, you speak incorrectly and mislead innocent Nigerians. That is what he has done. He should hide his head in shame.” to Femi Fani-Kayode, just because that criticize her.

As far am i am concern, this is the right time for ‘Madam aviation’ to drop the towel and go, regardless  of the claim of a PDP spokesperson  Chief Olisa Mentuh who told the world that his Party -PDP-have "full confidence" in the minister and she should be allowed to continue "her good work". Good work indeed.
