AN ISLAMIC SPIRITUALIST ARRESTED IN OGUN STATE FOR ALLEGED MURDERED OF ONE ANGELA UZO AND HER DAUGHTER

 THE Lagos and Ogun States police commands  was  on Friday night said to have discovered  the bodies of a 64-year-old retired customs officer, named Angela Uzo, and her adopted daughter, Obiagulum at a shallow grave in a building at  9, Wadoye Street, off Pipeline, Ajuwon area of Ogun State.

The suspect Alhaji Olatunji Azeez, who claimed to be an Islamic spiritualist, was arrested for murdered a retired customs officer and her adopted child, after selling her properties worth over two hundred million naira. In his confession to the police, he said he lured the late Angela to part with the documents of her landed properties in choice locations in Lagos State, after lying to her that some members of her family wanted to kill her over her properties.

It was learnt that after he sold the woman’s property at Ajah for N180 million, the one at Omole for N75 million and the one at Oko Oba for N120 million, without the consent of the owner, and in a bid to cover up the dastardly act, he then invited the deceased customs officer and her adopted daughter for prayers at Sango, where he kidnapped and killed them.

According to the information, the trouble started for Alhaji Azeez when the younger sister to Angela Uzo, reported her missing to the police at Oko Oba police station, after leaving home for a prayer session at Sango Ota since May in a Toyota Camry saloon car, marked LND 554 A2.

The police during investigation were able to track the vehicle to a building in Alakuko area of Lagos State, where two people were arrested ,these suspects helped in the arrest of the their ring leader at his Sango Ota, Ogun State home.
