SIERRA LEONE'S LEAD EBOLA DOCTOR HAS DIED

Sierra Leone’s chief ebola doctor has died on Tuesday, 26th after contracting ebola virus because of his work. News of his diagnosis surfaced just last week.

Khan said in an interview with Reuters last month said that: “I am afraid for my life, I must say, because I cherish my life. Health workers are prone to the disease because we are the first port of call for somebody who is sickened by disease. Even with the full protective clothing you put on, you are at risk.”

Sierra Leone’s Health Ministry, called him a “national hero” because of his work. He was only 39.

May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace.
