THE AVIARY: NO FEATHER NO BIRD

Yes, that is exactly what the old ‘Rugged Airlords’ did to give a meaning to brotherhood in Nigeria, the formation of THE AVIARY. The formation of THE AVIARY is a form of re-branding, to control, to supervise and to stare the ship of confraternity in a positive direction.

According to the communiqué issued on June 10, 2014, and signed by Bayo Ali (SI) and Olawale Bishi (SNG), it was noted that a lot of inconsistence, misbehaviour, misinformation, indiscipline, flagrant disobediences, lack of knowledge and wilful flaunting of existing rules and protocols among other unwholesome practices have become the ‘order of the day’.

In order to differentiate the impersonators from the real and law abiding ‘Airlords’, the made it compulsory that: ‘all rugged ‘Airlords’ must immediately liaise with their grand ‘Ibakas ‘, and complete the MEMBERSHIP REGISTRATION.

Henceforth only properly registered members shall be recognized as belonging to the AVIARY. Membership shall be compulsory for attendance or participation in any AVIARY activity. Please note that the first phase of the registration closes on August 31, 2014’

Moreover, the Aviary Supreme Council (AVC) has made it clear that henceforth, there will be consequences for non-adherence to Rules, Regulations, Guidelines and Protocol of the Aviary. At the same time, ‘all ‘Airlords’ worldwide are subject to control, supervision and superiority of the Provincial Council -in –charge unless otherwise directed by the Supreme Council’.
