POLITICS: DANBABA SUNTAI IS NOT MENTALLY AND PHYSICALLY OK

Things has been falling apart in the once peaceful Taraba state, following the taking over of the reign of affairs in the state by the Acting Governor, Alhaji Garba Umar, there have been accusations and counter accusations  by Acting governor and some other influential politicians of the state. It would be recalled that the acting governor Umar Garba, accused Senator Emmanuel Bwacha of inciting violence by calling for the declaration of state of emergency.

Senator Bwacha, on his part had blamed the lingering ethnic clashes in the state on the ambition of some powerful cabal to prevent power shift to the southern part of the state. The senator is from the mostly Christian southern part of the state, while Mr. Garba is from the Muslim dominated northern axis.

Having said that, the recuperating Governor of Taraba State Danbaba Suntai , that i saw on youtube interview moment ago is  brain-damaged and not mentally okay to do anything than to just retire to his home town and relinquish power to  his deputy, Garba Umar.

Suntai who came back to the country on Saturday night was said to be was angry with Umar for attempting to declare him unfit to resume work by asking the House of Assembly to probe his state of health.

According to Vanguard, a close aide to the governor said, “Umar is complaining to those who care to listen that he is being prevented from seeing his boss but what he is passing through serves him right because he no longer enjoys the confidence of Suntai.

“The governor is upset that Umar is goading the members of the House of Assembly to declare him unfit to work when in reality he has returned and is ready to resume work.
“The true position of the law is that Umar should step aside once the governor returns to the state but in this case he is trying to play games by considering setting up a medical board to examine his boss, who is already back and has recovered considerably,” the aide said

It is interesting to note that the governor has been incapacitated following the 2012 air crash that resulted in prolonged hospitalisation abroad. Also it is obvious that this man is mentally imbalanced, if this guy is now ok as claimed by his hang-on, why then do they continue to block the acting governor   who have been making spirited efforts to meet with his boss but was prevented from seeing him in a private guest house, where he is said to be resting?
