CRIME: MILLIONAIRE DRUG BARON 'JOHN CLARK' JAILED FOR 25 YEARS IN UK

Millionaire drug baron who went on the run in his Bentley Continental has been arrested and jailed for 25 years in London. He was also banned from travelling abroad for ten year after he is freed.

John Clark, 30, father of two, fled UK when his drug empire collapsed, he drove across Europe before being captured in Morocco, where he spent 10 months in jail before been extradited to UK.

Clark, whose empire stretched across Europe admitted money laundering and conspiracy to supply class A  and B drugs. According to report, £1.2million was discovered inside shoeboxes at his luxury home in Waterfoot, Lancs.

The National crime agency has seized his nine homes and his flash cars.

Karen Tonge, from the Crown Prosecution Service, said: "Today the leader of a multi-million pound drugs gang has been taken off the streets of Greater Manchester for a significant length of time, completing the final piece of the jigsaw in this complex case."
