CRIME: ROBBERS DISARMED POLICEMEN AND ESCAPED WITH ALL THE CASH

Men of the underworld on Thursday ambushed a bullion van loaded with cash at Elemesho Village in Ondo East Local Government Area of Ondo State and escaped with all the cash in the bullion van.

The operation that lasted about seven minutes happened around 4.50pm in the agrarian community along Ondo/Akure road. The incident, which turned the community into ghost town is like a scene from a Hollywood blockbuster film : '44 MINUTES'-The most intense shoot out in LAPD history-

According to the source, the bullion van with registration number FST 954 AL and its escort with registration number PF 3444 SPY belonging to an old generation bank, were coming from Ondo Town where they have loaded the money and where on their way to Akure, the state capital  when they ran into an ambush mounted by the armed robbers.
