Kabiyesi, Alayeluwa Oba (Dr) Obateru
Akinruntan, the Olugbo of Ugbonla Kingdom is our royal father of the day.
Kabiyesi , who celebrated his 5th Year
coronation anniversary on November 7th, 2014, is business man par excellence,
an achiever and lover of his people.
Kabiyesi is the Chairman/Chief Executive of OBAT Group. He was
born in Jirinwo, Ilaja Local Government Area of Ondo State, Nigeria.Obat Oil
and Petroleum Limited which he established in 1981, is a leading household name
in petroleum marketing in Nigeria today. The company which started with one
filling station in Okitipupa, Ondo State, currently has several Service outlets
that spread across the Western, Southern and Northern States of Nigeria.
Oba (Dr) is a graduate of Business Administration from
Lead City University Ibadan, where he was awarded” The Most Outstanding
Enterprise Graduate” Class of 2008.
He has received several local
and international awards, including several honorary such as: Doctor of
Philosophy (Bus. Admin), Staton University, Tampa, Florida USA – 1986. Doctor
of Divinity, Station University, Tampa Florida, USA – 1997. Doctor of Business
Administration (Honoris Causa) University of Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State, Nigeria –
