The Special Taskforce on Jos crisis has announced that it
has arrested the suspects that set ablaze two campaign buses of President
Goodluck Jonathan in Jos yesterday.
The spokesperson of the STF, Ikedichi Iweha, announced
the arrest in a telephone interview with journalists in Jos on Sunday.
A witness to the arrest, however, said six people were
arrested and that some of them might not have been involved in the incident.
The attack has however been condemned by both President Jonathan’s
Peoples Democratic Party, and General Muhammadu Buhari, of the All Progressives
Congress, APC, who called for the arrest and prosecution of those involved.
