Baosari Suara Haruna III, 93, the Chief Imam of Ibadan land is dead. Alhaji Ishaq Sanni, Chairman, Muslim Community
of Oyo State confirmed this to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Thursday
morning in Ibadan.
According to him, the remains of Haruna would be buried in his Agbeni residence, Ibadan, at 3 p.m. after Janazah prayers at Oja’ba Central Mosque, Ibadan, on Thursday (April 9). Until his death, the cleric was the President-General, League of Imams and Alfas in South West, including Edo and Delta states. The late scholar was turbaned as the Chief Imam of Ibadan land in 1995.
