Lanre Dodo
Balogun, publisher of Alariya Oodua magazine, has died. He died this morning,
27th of October 2015 at his house in Iyana-Iyesi, Ota, Ogun state. He was aged
55.
According to
reports, he was fine this morning and high in spirit after he finished
production for the new issue of his magazine but later died. The management of
his magazine , who have confirmed his passing, didn't say what killed him.
His remains have been deposited at Ota general hospital. He's survived by his wife and children. May his soul rest in peace, amen!

Balogun who has carved niche for himself started journalism in 1980, worked
with different media houses before setting up his, few years back. Amongst
where he worked were Ariya newspaper, The Guardian newspaper, ALAROYE and AKEDE
Oodua. Now, he is the publisher of ALARIYA Oodua Magazine.
