Drug baron,Tunde Moshood Seriki , the USA based first music promoter of the masked man, Lagbaja, who was then serving a jail term in United States of America, is now a free man. He was released on 26th June 2015 after serving his jail term. Tunde , regain his freedom after spending almost 20 years behind US prison walls for drug related offenses.
On August29th, 2002, Tunde Moshood Seriki, Pled guilty to three count of distribution of heroine and possession with intent to distribute, in violation of United State law, he was then sentenced to 235 months in prison. Moreover, after his initial sentencing in 2003, he cooperated with the law enforcement authority, and on March 1st, 2005 his sentence was then reduced to188 months.
Though not many people will remember him, for those who are not conversant with him, his name is Tunde Moshood Seriki, a young Nigerian businessman based in Chicago, United States of America. He was into show business and music promotion.
He came to Nigeria in the early part of year 2000 and floated a music label company with office inside Waterparks, Toyin Street, Ikeja. Instantly he became the toast of many music promoters and Nollywood stars, sponsoring their movies.
However, along the line, things are not going smoothly, his money started going down and he couldn’t maintain the kind of lavish and ostentatious lifestyle standard he used to live, hence he ventured into drug.
To cut the long story short, he was arrested right at the airport immediately he touched down in America, the God’s own country. After many court appearances, he was subsequently sentenced to 20 years in prison for drugs-related offenses with registration number 20617-424 .
