Lydia Nyanchama, a teacher, was left
without a tooth and broken arm after her ex-husband gave her a dirty beaten for
not answering his phone calls.
According to the woman: "I had gone for an outing in Dagorettion Saturday when he called but I did not not answer because he chased me from his house in 2014 without a clear reason," Nyanchama said.

A woman who teaches at Light of God
school, a school close to her house, said she found Stephen Omondi, a mechanic based in Westlands,
Kenya, waiting outside her house when she returned the following morning,
that after beating her, he threatened to return and kill her.
Nyanchama said she went to Mercy
mission hospital in Kawangware for treatment and reported the assault at
Muthangari police station. She was given a P3 form but has asked police to
quicken investigations and arrest the man as she fears for her life.
