IBB'S CHILDREN ARE UNLUCKY IN MARRIAGE !

Two of the children of former military dictator, General Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida (rtd), have been very unlucky in marriage. Both Aisha, his first daughter, and Mohammed, first son, have been married twice … and divorced twice!

For Aisha, who reportedly dated Kola Abiola in their younger days, marriage has been quite unkind.

First married to Basheer Nalabo Garba, who’s related to the Abachas, in 2003, the union collapsed under three years.

In 2008, she became the third wife of then governor of Zamfara state, Alhaji Aliyu Shinkafi. That also packed up by 2013.

For Mohammed, his marriage to Rahama Indimi, the daughter of Borno billionaire, in 2004, lasted about 12 years, with an interregnum of many months.

Both have four children (two girls and two boys) who became objects of bitter custody.

Mohammed took a second wife, his childhood sweetheart in 2008. But that marriage with Umma, daughter of Ambassador Aminu Wall, was short lived.
Not much is known about the marital life of Aminu, Babangida’s second son who was made an executive director of Unity Bank.

With Halima, she begins matrimony as the third wife of Sarkin Sudan Gombe, Alhaji Auwal Lawal Abdullahi.
