Ondo State Deputy Governor, Agboola Ajayi has resigned as a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) after months of cold war with his principal, Governor Rotimi Akeredolu.
Ajayi resigned his membership of the APC at his country home in Kiribo, Ward 2, Apoi, in Ese-Odo Local Government Area of the state on Sunday June 21, hours after he had an altercation with Ondo state commissioner of Police, Bolaji Salami.
Agboola Ajayi who also picked his membership card of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) at his ward, said he is happy to be back to the PDP.
