I'M TIRED OF WORRYING ABOUT MARRIAGE OR MAN~~Etinosa Idemudia
Nollywood actress, Etinosa Idemudia says she has stopped worrying herself about marriage or the kind of man she would spend the rest of her life with.
In a recent chat with newsmen, the script interpreter said:
“A lot of men look and talk as if they are ready for commitment but turn out to be jokers. And the ones that look like jokers sometimes turn out to be for real. So, I’m really not looking for a particular trait (in a man) because this thing has no manual. I don’t even know if I would end up with an entertainer like me. Who I marry is in the hands of God. It’s not by occupation, tribe, or religion. If God says he’s the one, it will happen. I have stopped racking my head over such things.”
The Edo State-born actress also cleared the air on the statement she recently made on social media asking the police to always arrest Internet fraudsters alongside their girlfriends. “A lot of people forget that I am a comedienne first before an actress. I make funny videos using my alter ego, Esohe, a typical Benin girl from a village in Uselu. It is an act just for humour. I can’t help those who take it seriously. I wouldn’t even know if a fraudster had wooed me. They don’t write Yahoo boy on the forehead.”

SEUN EGBEGBE'S FRAUD CASE: JUDGE ORDER' POLICE OFFICER' WITNESS
The Federal High Court in Lagos has ordered the arrest of a police officer, Bello Abubakar, listed as the first prosecution witness in the case of a Nigerian film maker, Olajide Kazeem, aka Seun Egbegbe, who was charged with serial frauds involving N39, 098,100, $90,000 and £12,550.
The trial judge in the case, Justice Oluremi Oguntoyinbo, said on Thursday that Abubakar must be produced before her on October 11 to continue his testimony.
The judge had earlier issued a bench warrant against Abubakar, ordering that he must be in court on Thursday. The police officer, however, failed to appear, to the judge’s displeasure. The police prosecutor, Innocent Anyigor, told the judge that Abubakar had gone out of jurisdiction, adding that all his efforts to bring him to court on Thursday failed.
Justice Oguntoyinbo berated the police prosecutor for the poor handling of the case, which had been filed before her since February. She said the witness must be brought before her on October 11.

Me, Acting,Music, Sex, and Marriage~~OMOTOLA JALAADE
Nollywood diva, Omotola Jalade-Ekehinde aka,' Omosexy', is back with a bang after staying off screen for 3 years!
In this chat with Entertainer, the actress opens up on her career, music, sex and marriage. Enjoy it.
You took a rather long break from the movie industry, why?
I have been around but I have been building my businesses, film village in Badagry and some other personal international projects. I took time to creatively re-organise myself.
How far have you gone with the film village?
So far, my husband and I have over 20 plus acres of land in Badagry. He has his for his ‘Aquatic Jungle Entertainment’ and I have mine for the film village. We have started with the first phase, which will have a cinema and other attractions. It is in its early stages, but surely, we are making progress.
How soon would all these be ready?
That won’t be this year but maybe, next year. We are talking to some investors because the film village is quite a huge project. Buying lots of plots of land could be stressful. But at this stage, we are building gradually.
Talking about the film village in Badagry, are you in partnership with the Lagos State government?
No, not now. I had a meeting with the former governor (Babatunde Fashola); he knows about the project but I haven’t visited the new governor (Akinwunmi Ambode) yet. I also started another project in Ikeja, it is like a smaller version of what I am doing in Badagry. It is called The Double Doors Film Village. So, these are things that I have been putting together.
How do you connect closely with your co-stars when playing sex scenes, I mean the chemistry between actors in movies?
Sometimes you can tell while watching a movie that a couple doesn’t have chemistry. It is not something you can force. Some actors are very good at acting it. But sometimes, when it has to do with love, relationship, it’ is not easy to play. When you want to act like you love the person, there are some natural acts and gesticulations that you can’t force. But if you are a well-trained actor, you would not find that difficult. There are some little tricks to these things that some actors don’t know. You can make it happen and look real too, especially in love and sex scenes.
Talking about the film, Alter Ego, how did you come about having so much chemistry with Wole Ojo?
I have heard about him so much but the movie was the first time we got together. When we got to know we would be acting together, we spent a lot of time playing; we played very rough. I understand the power of being so close to your love interest in a movie, so we became very close even before the shooting. We ate together and spent lots of time together, and had each other’s interest at heart. It helped us to bring out our best in Alter Ego.
In Alter Ego, lots of movie critics believe you over played the raunchy scenes, did that get at you?
When I wasn’t even that confident, I starred in a movie called The Prostitute, which was released 22 years ago. If I didn’t die then, is it now? I am ready for them. I don’t even like watching myself on screen. If I do, I will feel like burning inside and might even start crying because I criticise myself a lot. Sometimes, I pity those watching especially when I poorly do a sex scene. I would be like ‘what was that for?’ It can kill the whole movie when it’s poorly done. For me, if a sex scene is not going to be well done, then why do it in the first place? If you must kiss, you should be able to kiss well; make it professional.
How have you succeeded to reinvent yourself? Every year you look younger and better in your role interpretation?
I think it is knowing what matters and being authentic and real. But in all, you must make sense. I am blessed that at a very tender age, I was able to find God, so my Christian values have been able to let me know what is wrong and what not to do. That way, the core me is real. I no dey form. With me, what you see is what you get. I don’t have time to live fake lifestyle. Whenever I come out, it is still about the real me. Talking about work, I never take it for granted. From the beginning of my career, I knew what I wanted. I had a vision and kept staying focused. Even now, I remain undistracted. The more you are inspired and focused, the more you are relevant.
Any regrets marrying early?
Not, not at all! It is one of the biggest blessings of my life because I look back and ask myself ‘if I hadn’t gotten married then, would I have married now?’ It is hard nowadays. It is difficult to find someone who would love you for who you really are and not the image they see on the screen or the image they have in their minds of who you are. I understand what my unmarried colleagues are going through; it is not easy. Having said that, I also think getting married to my friend, a wonderful, confident and powerful man has really helped me. He allowed me to have that stability and still go out there and fly.
What happened to your music career?
I want to get back to the music industry so bad. I am coming back. It is not like I care what people are saying but I will be back soon.
Would your son produce your songs?
Well, I would like him to produce but we fight a lot. I used to complain a lot before but I have stopped because I know he takes after me. He knows what he wants and goes for it. I am always like ‘you’ve not even started yet and you are always acting so stubborn and pushing me around’. I don’t think we can ever get to work together because we are both headstrong. But on the other hand, I would love to work with him because he is a very fantastic producer. I just hope someday we can find a balance, agree and just let it happen. I want to do music in a way that I would always be at concerts. I don’t want to be like Tiwa Savage because that is her first career and I have movies as my first. I can’t compete with Tiwa. I like to express myself with music and I like to perform where people can come and watch me. So, I am planning on shaping my music career towards that end.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY RICHARD MOFE DAMIJO ( RMD ) @ 56
Veteran Nollywood actor ,Richard Mofe-Damijo ( RMD ) is 56 today and here is how he's celebrating it.
The actor took to his instagram to share how the journey has been. Read below :
"Patoranking's "Nobody wey nor fit to make am o" is the apt theme song for my life as I celebrate my 56th birthday today.
From Welfare Road Warri, Delta State to the Silver Screen, it's been an often times surreal experience that anyone who has made it from a similar place of obscurity can relate to.
I believe my journey, like most journeys to greatness usually start from self belief. It's hard for me to believe I have done 34 years post graduation. There's been struggles, uncertainties, living abroad seeking greener pastures, returning home, businesses have risen, flourished and some fallen.
There's been a marriage, a painful death, another blessed marriage, joyous births and more academic pursuits and degrees. There's been my sojourn in government for 8 years, the birth of my precious grandchildren and the return that was first scary till I felt the overwhelming love and support of my ever growing fan base.
What a journey. What a packed 56 years. I am indeed grateful and thankful. No, I didn't wake up like this (as RMD), No, I didn't always know that I would "make it". It's been Faith, Hard work, Self development and more work. But above all I have been more graced than my efforts could ever have done which is why in this journey, God is my ride or die and today I return all the glory to Him".

PHOTO: RMD WITH KIDS ON FATHER'S DAY " 70 THE NEW 40"
Veteran Nollywood actor, Richard Mofe Damijo,(RMD), has shared adorable picture with his lovely children to celebrate Father's day.
"When I was younger, I looked at my dad as very old and now, In a changing world when 70 (years old) is the new 40, I wonder how my kids look at me-lol-. I am grateful I can relate better with my children, have conversations rather than just give orders/instructions, have them run up to me when I get home rather than run off into their rooms.
I have resolved to evolve with them, watch trends closely and keep finding ways to keep up with them without losing the values I hold dear and want to impart in them.
To every father providing not just financially but also providing the love, acceptance, emotional and spiritual stability their children need. To every father looking for ways to win or retain the confidence of their children in a changing world. To every father striving at being a better dad than our fathers were. To every father who has resolved to raise their kids better than our parents did, I say Happy Father's Day and I pray for you today that God will furnish you exceedingly and abundantly with all the wisdom and resources you require to be the father your family needs. God bless you all"

"MEN ARE BORN TO CHEAT....DON'T LEAVE YOUR MAN BECAUSE OF THAT"~~FUNKE ADESIYAN
Funke Adesiyan ,Nollywood actress ,has told Nigeria women to look beyond the flaw of cheating and focus on the way their men treat them, adding that leaving a man because he cheats is like relocating from Nigeria to America because it rains.
She wrote via her instagram page, “Leaving a man because he cheats is like relocating from Nigeria to America because of rain. News flash: it rains everywhere. Find a good man who loves you and appreciates you. Every other thing can be worked on. Men are naturally born to cheat. Look beyond this flaw and focus on how he treats you.
“Good morning guys. I read many comments from my last post and I couldn’t stop laughing. It’s funny that it’s women who are answering for their men that the men don’t cheat on them. My sisters, let the men answer for themselves. The truth is a bitter pill to swallow.
“You cannot answer for people. I stand by my position 100%. I know that as a modern woman, we aim to break away from the norm and be as westernized as possible but believe me, it happens everywhere. It’s only those who got caught that are referred to as offenders.
“Not many men can sincerely say they have been with only their partner for 10yrs without “playing”. It doesn’t make them bad people, it just makes them men.”

IRETI DOYLE: HOW FRIENDS LED HER ASTRAY ~~ COLLEAGUES
The hope of reviving the strained union between Ireti Doyle and her actor/MC husband, Patrick Doyle dimmed further as Ireti stopped wearing her wedding band.
This was noticed when she stepped on the red carpet last Friday at the EbonyLife@4 celebration which also launched the TV series of ‘Fifty’ a movie she starred in. It was her first public outing since penultimate week when the media reported her separation from husband, Patrick Doyle.
Kemiashefonlovehaven observed that Mrs. Doyle, who was wearing a floral sleeveless top on a long skirt, had ‘ringless’ fingers. The wedding band which was meant to be on the fourth finger of her left hands was missing.
The 15-year-old marriage which produced six children, (an addition of Doyle’s late wife’s and Ireti’s) is on the brink of collapse. Ireti and Patrick lost a child to sickle cell disorders some years ago
Patrick and Ireti, sources said, are no longer living together. The Tinsel star, Iretiola, has since moved into a new apartment in Anthony Village area of Lagos, living far away from her veteran broadcaster/ actor husband and children.
Their marriage has been on the rocks for a while and they stopped having shared interests.
Patrick and Ireti have not been stepping out together, a development strangely observed by many fans and media. When asked why they have not spotted together in recent time, Ireti, said:
“We are both busy people and you find that, in any one given weekend, we’ve both been invited to three or four different events where all three or four people are expecting to see us so we play it smart, we share it; if you’ve seen one you’ve seen the other.”
While the reason for their break-up is still unclear, source said Patrick and Ireti ended their relationship after thoughtful consideration and chose to remain friends.
Talking to some of their colleagues who worked with the duo while in NTA, many expressed surprise at this development.
They hinted that Ireti left Patrick Doyle having given in to ‘peer pressure.’
Peer pressure? A 50-year-old whose first daughter is married (she had Bimbo at 17) can’t simply fall into that trap.
“Why wouldn’t we call it peer pressure? We called the husband and he said there was no problem before she decided having a separation. Ireti would tell you that her husband is easy-going—Patrick is loving and not fussy. Before they got married, he was always helping her to have a hang of what television, presenting and acting was all about. He was the one taking Ireti from one studio to the other when he was at NTA and made sure she got her footing right in television production. He was her pillar of support from when she was nobody. I remember many years ago when Patrick lost his wife. We were surprised at his decision to remarry early and we all saw how she also rode on the wings of his fame and name. Now that the media is tagging her an A-list actress, she now has high-class friends and her taste has changed to urbane lifestyle. She was led astray by her friends and we believe she would return to her husband when her so-called friends betray her,” an anonymous source close to the family revealed.
The estranged couple is yet to issue any statement due to the fact that they are taking respectful and loving space at this painful time.

"KEEP YOUR MARRIAGE OFF INTERNET OTHERWISE IT WILL DESTROY IT"~~UCHE OGBODO
Nollywood actress, Uche Ogbodo, who went into the sacred institution and didn’t last six months,in a recent chat with Potpourri, gave her candid advice to couples, especially celebrities, to keep their marriage off the social media. Hear her;
“When one is hurt, you will think you need to vent it for the whole to feel your pain. It’s like if you don’t, you are going to die. I have been there. It takes the grace of God,” she explained when asked why celebrities feel the need to take their relationship issues to the social media.
“I’ve been there and I had the grace of God. That’s why I never voiced out my fears and problems with my ex. There are so many stories the media wanted me to talk about, but I wasn’t ready.
And so I just put a name to it ‘He’s a liar’. I didn’t give details or anything. If I ventured, Oh my God! The internet would have broken for my sake! Why would the internet break for my sake? I have millions of fans who are following me. I have a lot of people emulating me.
Why would one mistake destroy me? Why would one mistake that I made destroy the lives of so many people in their marriages? Because of what I say about a man? So you need help.
So many people don’t know God and so when these things happen, they are broken. They think the internet is their God.
The internet will only destroy you further. And as your marriage is crashing, you’re crashing hundreds of marriages of your fans because they are believing every word that comes out of your mouth,” she added

"MY MARRIAGE LASTED FOR ONE YEAR......AND I NEVER DATED MERCY AIGBE'S ESTRANGED HUSBAND"~~BIMBO AKINSANYA
Top Nollywood actress, Bimbo Akinsanya, AKAN"Omo Oloja", has rubbished social media reports that she once married Olanrewaju Gentry (Larry Gentry), the estranged husband of her colleague, Mercy Aigbe.
She insisted there is no iota of truth in the tale. She, therefore, enjoined her fans and the general public to disregard the publication in its totality as it’s nothing but a mischievous statement.
She further described it as not only fictitious but malicious, labeling those peddling it as mischief makers whose aim is to cause disaffection between herself and Mercy Aigbe and drag the image she built over the years in the mud.
Speaking with ENCOMIUM Weekly on Thursday, May 11, 2017, the talented role interpreter expressed deep concern over the post, saying, “I was shocked when my attention was called to the post that I was once married to Mercy Aigbe’s husband. That’s absolute lie. I only met the man about 14 years ago when we were filming in his office, and I was not the only one. Since, I never met him. I didn’t even know him well until he married Mercy. So, I don’t know how and where they came across their story. How can some bloggers sit at the corners of their rooms and be fabricating lies against another person without calling that person to confirm the tale or rumour about what they heard about the person? Have they called me or Gentry to find out whether we have ever dated let alone married. That’s malicious. I think those behind the stuff are only interested in maligning me.
“To put the record straight, I got married in 2014. I got separated from my husband in 2015 when my son was just three years old. I have since remained a single mother. So, Gentry and I never dated let alone married. Anybody in doubt is free to confirm what I said from Gentry himself or Mercy Aigbe. Some people are just being mischievous for peddling that kind of rumour.”

GBENGA ADEWUSI UNDER FIRE FOR PROMOTING NEW DVD "MOJI OLAIYA: CANADA TO GRAVE"
Yoruba movie ,producer/marketer, Gbenga Adewusi, has come under fire for promoting a new DVD titled “Moji Olaiya Canada to Grave” on Instagram.
Mr. Adewusi, who is also the CEO of Bayowa Films Production, has also been hit with backlash from his over 20,000 Instagram followers after he posted the picture of the DVD cover on his Instagram handle with the caption: “Moji Olaiya Canada To Grave! Movie Clips with Tears of Sorrow. Femi Adebayo, Ronke Oshodi Oke, Muyiwa Ademola and others in Pains.”
The post has sparked a heated debate on Instagram as many find it disrespectful to the dead.
Defending his action, he said the movie was not for sale but only meant for his company’s website. Many doubted his excuse because it contradicted the promotional caption on the post.
One of the comments read: “What the heck is all this? Nigerians are beginning to lose their humanity with this social media of a thing!! Is it not enough that someone posted a picture of Her on her dying bed and even her burial wasn’t private and now this?? What the heck is wrong with us?”
Moji passed away on May 17 after suffering a cardiac arrest in Canada. She had only been delivered of a baby girl two months earlier. She was buried on June 7.

BABATUNDE OMIDINA aka BABA SUWE IS VERY ILL~~ YOMI FABIYI
Actor, Yomi Fabiyi has once again said that Veteran Actor, Baba Suwe is going through a deteriorating health following the torture he suffered in the hands of the National Drug Law and Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) in 2011.
Yomi Fabiyi 's statement below;
“I am calling on all senior colleagues in the entertainment world especially those close to Baba Suwe because I don’t have everyone’s contact to please reach out to him as soon as possible,” Fabiyi said in a statement according to the Daily Post News.
”The torture done on him by NDLEA is vastly damaging his health at an alarming rate.
“He told me he no longer feel comfortable since that episode. Baba Suwe is a widower, he can hardly walk properly as I speak, let alone go to film.
”How will he feed and take care of the children aunty Moladun left behind?
“This is an A-List Entertainer and this conspiracy of silence gives me mental agony on my part, I don’t want to speak when it may be too late, I won’t forgive myself.
”He told me when I visited him that he is innocent of the accusations and yet a long pipe was inserted through his anus; he was detained for too long amongst other things just because he was randomly suspected like every normal person.
”In my opinion, only lazy, ill-trained, unfit and uncivilized officers torture in the name of investigation.
“Torture is criminal and sinful. If this accusation is found to be true by independent investigators, it shouldn’t go unpunished.
”The court asked NDLEA to pay him 25 million for damages which is yet to be obeyed but to me an open apology will placate him and illustrate some dignified and civil approach from a government agency that made him go through all that without coming up with a single proof after that prolonged detention and drama.
”He who assert must prove! NDLEA needs to restore public confidence by doing the needful on this matter. And until individuals and government agency begin to respect fundamental human right and enhance duty of care, the essence of Nigeria’s freedom is far from been realistic.
”No malice is intended against NDLEA with this outcry, I just hope the leadership see this as a clarion call for getting it right and save the agency from sending an innocent person to an early grave whereby leaving his children to suffer unjustly. My humble take. Thank you. Yomi Fabiyi”, the actor concluded.
