The marriage of popular beautiful comedienne Princess ‘Lepasious’(real names Oluwadamilola Adekoya) and her hubby Adeshola Jeremiah,has crashed.

A Lagos based packaging and printing company,Toppan Packaging Company Limited located on Ladipo Oluwole in Ikeja Industrial Estate, could still not believe what they witnessed on Friday the 13th December 2013.

 It was gathered that the shift manager, a Lebanese; Kaveh Noine beat up the Cleaning Unit Supervisor Mrs. Alice Ossai, who was then carried a seven months pregnant to the point of mis-carriage and eventually loosed the baby.

 According to the sources, his grouse was that a portion of the factory is littered with dirt and she failed in her responsibility to rein in her team to keep the factory floor properly clean.

 Mrs. Ossai, in her words said : “It is the consideration for survival and the pervasive unemployment in the country that made me stomach the assault and the insult, I considered the fact that I am a casual worker and I have a sick and aged mother to take care of, I was expecting my baby in couple of weeks, I need money to take care of my delivery and the expected child, even when my siblings with whom I worked together in the company were going to have a show down with Noine I stopped them, I even went to work the following day in pains till I almost collapsed on the factory floor on Monday.

 “Now I have lost on all fronts, I lost the baby, I lost the job, my health is in jeopardy and my spouse and I are in debt due to Noine assault. Now my family members are running from pillar to post to raise the money to pay for the Caesarian Section, I learnt I was given several pints of blood and I have received other drugs and medications”.

 While Elvis Ossai, Alice spouse said the fate that befell his wife is quiet unfortunate and avoidable. He offered that the officers and men of the Lagos Area F police command disappointed him over the way and manner they handled investigation into this incident; “I make bold to say to Nigerians that they connived with the management of Toppan Packaging Company to shield a foreigner who beat up Nigerian in her own country from facing justice. The assault on my wife led to the loss of a seven month pregnancy; instead of a naming ceremony we just conducted a funeral, we were denied the joy of parenthood just as we were looking forward to it”.

 N B: Why is it that foreigners were above the law in Nigeria? What are the functions of our police force, if that they cannot protect the life of its citizens? The Lebanese in question committed two offences ‘assault and murder’. I hope that the Inspector-General of Police will take action on this.

KUMUYI SAID CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION IS IDOLATROUS

The General Overseer of The Deeper Life Bible Church, Pastor W.F Kumuyi warned his church members during their annual National December Convention which held on Saturday Dec 21st, against celebrating Christmas, because according to him it is idolatrous and unscriptural;

“We don’t celebrate Christmas. It actually came from idolatrous background. That is why you don’t hear us sing what they call Christmas carol, Never! We always say it is the December retreat. We are only gathering together because it is the holiday period and love the lord more, and rededicate ourselves more.

 “When you find anybody coming in, or any leader, trying to introduce the idolatry of mystery Babylon, that they call Christmas and you want to bring all the Christmas carol saying that is the day that Jesus was born, and you don’t find that in the Acts of the Apostles or in the early church, then you don’t find that in the church either. If you don’t know that before, now you know. Well, let's all try to respect other people's beliefs.

Meanwhile, it will be recall that this same man of God preached against elaborate wedding to his followers, while his own son did a flamboyant wedding in far away Caribbean country, with designer dress. Food for thought.
