MIKE OGHIADOME SACKING IS A TALE OF TWO CITIES

That the President Goodluck Jonathan has asked his Chief of Staff, Mike Oghiadomhe to resign with immediate effect according to a presidency source is no longer news, but the heat generated by his sacking is another debate on its own. 

The ‘ Public Accountability League’ in his publication alleged former Edo state deputy Governor on some corruption charges, read the details bellow on edited: ‘’ If you are one of those who have wondered why the administration of president Goodluck Jonathan has a had a woeful performance thus far, well you need not think or look too far, because the one person that has caused more harm than good to the administration of Goodluck Jonathan is no other person but his chief of staff Mike oghiadomhe, you better not be surprised and if you are well i understand why, Mike oghiadomhe happens not be constantly in the news like other political office holders but in the background he holds considerable power in Jonathan's administration and the power that he holds lack diplomatic skills but has plenty of greed and this is definitely a recipe for disaster and its no wonder, Jonathan has done poorly.

To the Edo people, Mike oghiadomhe is not a new person and he is well known as a terrible person, having worked as Deputy to former Governor Lucky Igbinedion while he served as the Chief Executive of Edo State, many see Chief Oghiadomhe as one of those who should be held responsible for the current plight of the state, one wonders how in the world will Jonathan employ who served as deputy to a Lucky

Igbinedion that was seriously corrupt. Some Edo indigenes still remember him as the man who allegedly sold out the state's rubber plant for personal gains, apart from the land issue that pitched him against his own people, so many factors have taken away the respect the average Edo indigene should have for the former Deputy Governor of his or her home state. One of such was the conduct of Chief Oghiadomhe during the 2007 elections. It was alleged that there was absolutely no voting in Etsako Central Local Government where the former Deputy Governor hails from. He reportedly supervised his personal security team as they took electoral materials and took them to the home of a senior chief in the area where they thumb-printed the entire ballot papers available.

Mike Oghiadomhe's seeming invincibility to prosecution is something that is no surprise, going by how so many public office holders in Jonathan's administration blatantly embezzle and nothing happens to them, as much as we all know Stella oduah is still a minister after all the atrocities she has committed. Law enforcement agents seem to have a kind of fear for him. Not only has the EFCC not probed him as recommended but he has become a sort of consultant to so many other public office holders that have cases with EFCC, he acts as the one to help them prevent EFCC from prosecuting them.

Public accountability league can confidently tell you that Mike oghiadomhe is a thief and a very big one for that matter, and that should not come as a surprise to anyone, we all know how Edo state was milked dry by the Lucky Igbinedion administration of which Mike oghiadomhe was deputy, how in the world was Mike oghiadomhe not investigated as well afterall he stole as much as his former boss from edo state, DATTS UK LIMITED is one of the companies Mike Oghaidomhe used in siphoning money out of Nigeria (see documents attached)

yet this man is allowed to continue stealing, with properties in Abuja Aso drive as well as properties in London (documents attached)

On Thursday, August 5th 2010, Mike Oghiadomhe signed off on the purchase of N1.3billion property located in Aso Villa with address – 3 Udi Hill Street. A mansion located at the end of Aso Drive and near the former American Embassy and SSS building. The property, which the source indicates will be Mike Oghiadomhe’s new home, is scheduled for renovation. Prior to the purchase of the property, Mike Oghiadomhe lived in Gwarimpa Estate, Abuja – an area that does not compare well, in terms of estate value, with Aso Villa where his new mansion is located. It would be hard for this thief, Mike oghiadomhe to absolve himself of the crime of corruption and until the man is brought to book we wont stop fighting.’

IS DENRELE EDUN A LADY?

Denrele, is an entertainment personality whose style has been described as "punk and fun". In an interview with ModernGhana, he stated "I am just expressing my individuality. Most people ask me that question and I would say I just want to be me. Some people think I dress like this to attract attention, but I have always had attention from childhood’

However, on a closer examination, Denrele Edun's personality, raised  lot of questions.

However, Denrele denied the rumour going about the country that he is gay thus: "I think the truth is that no matter how good you are, people will want to look for a loophole somewhere and penetrate you, but when they don’t find one, they will just say something. I am not bothered about the rumour at all, because if I am gay or homosexual, I will come and say it because I don’t lie, but what the allegation has done to my person is that it has put me in trouble with some people because they started to torment me. I am a kind of person that when they call me and say you are a gay, I don’t shout at them because I am one of the people that affect people positively. I don’t care who you are, your status, age, standing in the society or your sexual preference, I have a lot of gay friends and lesbians, but I don’t mind because it is part of life and life has to be lived. When they started to peddle the rumour, the first one I heard was that I went to a gay party and some people came to me, disturbing me. You know people just make fabrications. My family was not even bothered because they know me very well. What I will say is that when I am getting married, I will invite all of you to come and be part the of occasion.

ANGRY FATHER THROWS HER DAUGHTER FROM 3-STOREY BUILDING FOR CATCHING HER ON HIS BED WITH HER BOY FRIEND

Aishat, teenager, resident of, Lagos Island, Lagos State, southwest Nigeria, was rushed to Lagos Island General Hospital in Lagos where she is under intensive care for the injuries she sustained when her father threw her down from their 3-storey building home.

It was learnt that her angry father, Deji Kamoru, threw her in annoyance ,from their three-storey building home located at Oroyinyin Street, Lagos Island, Lagos State, southwest Nigeria,after he caught her with her boyfriend on his bed.

 It was gathered that Aishat is still alive, but she cannot talk or recognise any body .The police at Adeniji Adele Division arrested Kamoru but later released him on bail so that he could take care of the victim and foot her medical bill.

It was gathered that Kamoru separated from Aishat’s mother some years ago and took custody of their four children, including Aishat, whom he has been living with before the incident happened.

According to the source, ‘On the day the incident happened, Kamoru, who is a driver and security guard, went to work and returned early to prepare for his night duty but met the door to his apartment locked inside. Convinced that Aisha was inside and must have locked the entrance door to their apartment, he started knocking at the door until she eventually opened it.
Before Kamoru could react when he sensed that his daughter was with someone, Aishat’s boyfriend reportedly escaped. He lost his temper and allegedly tortured and threw her from the third floor of their house.’’

 Beautiful Latoya Aduke Ekemode, wife of one of the Nigeria’s finest musician is not new in Nigeria, Africa and the World in general when we are talking about music or dancing.

PRESIDENT JONATHAN APPROVED THE APPOINTMENT OF GENERAL MARTIN LUTHER AGWAI AS SURE-P CHAIRMAN

PRESIDENT Goodluck Jonathan has approved the appointments of: General Martin Luther Agwai , as chairman of Subsidy Re-Investment Programme (SURE-P); Mrs Tanwa Olusi, deputy chairman of SURE-P; Mrs Fidelia Njeze, Special Adviser (NEPAD) and Senator Suleiman M. Ajadi, Special Adviser (NASS).

Mr Sola Omole was appointed Director-General (DG), Nigerian Television Authority (NTA); Alhaji Ladan Salihu, DG, Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN), while Mr Ima Niboro was appointed Managing Director, News Agency of Nigeria.

In a statement issued by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Dr Reuben Abati, in Abuja, on Thursday night, said the appointments were made in furtherance of efforts to continually strengthen the administration on all fronts. All the appointments are with immediate effect.

General Martin Luther Agwai , a career soldier,was born on November 8, 1948 in Kaduna, a city in Northern Nigeria. He hails from a Christian home and was the President of Fellowship of Christian Students at Government Secondary School, Zaria in 1967.

He graduated from the Nigerian Command and Staff College, British Army Staff College, Camberley and United States Army Armour School amongst others. He holds a Post Graduate diploma in Public Administration with distinctions from the Administrative Staff College of Nigeria (ASCON) and National Defence University, Washington DC, where he obtained a Master of Science in National Resource Strategy. While at NDU, he won the Ambassadors Award for excellence in research and writing, making him the first foreigner to win the award.

General Martin Luther Agwai retired from the Nigerian Armed Forces in December 2009.

PEPPER SOUP POLITICS: NAVY, POLICE AT WAR IN WARRI

It will be recalled that there was free for all commotion last Thursday at the Kayriott Hoteland Suites, Effurun, near Warri, Delta State, when a team of naval personnel reportedly invaded the guesthouse, brutalized hotel officials, disarmed and abducted two policemen on guard duty in the hotel following a heated disagreement with a waitress, over supposed non payment for food and drinks enjoyed by a naval officer and his friends.

While narrating what happened, proprietor of the hotel,  Efe Afe,  in a petition to the Chief of Naval Staff, Rear Admiral Usman Jibril, dated February 3, said, “One Navy Lieutenant Akalezie Uche attached to the Nigerian Navy, NNS Delta in Warri, Delta State, in company of a female friend and another young man visited the aforementioned hotel and was attended to at the hotel’s pool bar by a waitress named Rachael Usen.” He went further to say that ”The waitress at the end of the stay of the above trio demanded payment of the sum of N8,500.00 (Eight thousand, five hundred naira) for the food, drinks and ice cream which the said lieutenant and his friends had ordered and consumed, but the lieutenant claimed that he had already paid for same to the consternation of the waitress who insisted that she had not been paid a dime.”

However, it was discovered that when the mobile police that were on guard at the hotel  tried to apprehend the trio for non settlement of their bill, Lt. Akalezie, allegedly alerted colleagues from the NNS Delta naval base who stormed the hotel and the show of shame began.

In an attempt to defend one of their own, NNS Delta Public Relations Officer, Lt C.I.D Yohana, maintained that the policemen, indeed, manhandled the navy officer .

Mr. Aduba. Delta state Commissioner of Police, described the navy’s defence of the scandalous “feeble attempt”  by his naval counterpart to exonerate his men from the “show of shame”, which he said is a “height of falsehood,” Noting “the simple fact which is well corroborated by evidence of eye witnesses is that the two policemen on guard duty at the hotel, fully dressed in service uniform, were over-powered by the naval personnel who stormed the premises of the hotel in a commando-like manner; disarmed the police personnel, battered them to stupor, before abducting them together with some officials of the hotel to the Naval Base.’

“From the investigation so far conducted, the bone of contention behind this unholy act and a seemingly recurring decimal of occurrence between the navy and the police in the state is the payment of N9,000 for pepper soup and alcoholic beverages consumed by the man who was later identified as a naval officer and two of his friends at the hotel. An argument ensued between the said naval officer on civil outfit and the hotel receptionist over the non payment of the said N9,000 for services delivered, in the course of which the naval officer slapped the receptionist causing her ears to ooze blood.” The Police commissioner added.

In his words, Mr. Aduba, captioned the action of the Naval personnel as an act of lawlessness: “We want to state clearly that the Police Force still remains the symbol of government and no profession has the act of lawlessness as part of its ethics, hence we strongly submit that the act of carrying two Hilux load of naval personnel – not for the purpose of storming/fighting our common enemies – the criminals, but rather for the purpose of overpowering fellow uniformed security personnel on legitimate duty which has occurred several times in Delta State will certainly not augur well for the good governance of our country which is the primary purpose of government.”

Popular Yoruba Actress, Mosunmola Filani  secretly got married to Simeon Oduoye in Ibadan not too long ago.

The light-skinned Yoruba actress, as we were told by an industry source, was full of surprise getting married to Simeon, who is believed to be a woman’s guy.

Information gathered revealed that Mosun secured the love of Simeon at the expense of Yemisi, Simeon’s wife at the time.

Mosun, who once had hot romance with Odunlade Adekola and Muyiwa Ademola, was said to have hijacked Simeon to herself, thereby making him pay less attention to his wife, Yemisi, who has two kids for him.

Mosun has gone on to bear the man a baby girl and their marriage seems to be in ship-shape with no detectable cracks of any discord.

If you have been wondering why Nigerian actresses prefer marrying other people’s husbands, wonder no more, because Nollywood Yoruba actress, Bose Arowosegbe, has come out to support the trend of actresses going after married men.
