A BOY MURDERED HIS MOTHER & TWO SISTERS DUMPED THEIR BODIES IN A DAM IN ZAMFARA

It was just like remembring a horror film as residents of the Mortgage Area of Gusau, capital of Zamfara State, 19 months after, still shudder at the memory of the callousness of Kamalu, who hired assassins to murder his own mother, Hajia Aisha and his younger sisters, aged 9 and 11 respectively and dumped their bodies in the Bager dam, located off the Gusau-Dansadau Road in the state capital.

As Sunday Sun gathered:
It is still not yet revealed the exact time of the day when the satanic team of assassins struck and snuffed out life from the trio of mother and her two daughters. However, what is known is that a good citizen informed the police at 8.30 on May 29 that a dead body was seen floating on the water at Bager dam, from which the State Water Board sources water treated and supplied to the metropolis.

The police quickly moved and recovered the corpse, which was taken to the Federal Medical Centre Gusau for autopsy. The post mortem examination of the corpse showed that there were deep cuts and injuries all over it. This discovery led the police to suspect foul play, and listed it as a case of SUD (sudden unnatural death).

Meanwhile, relations of the late Hajia who were disturbed by her sudden disappearance trooped to the police station on May 30, 2013 at midday, to file a report that she was missing, and had not been seen for 48 hours. They told the police that all efforts made to contact her on the phone were unsuccessful because her phone was not reachable.

However, the police then took the relations to the FMC mortuary, where they immediately identified the corpse shown to them as the late Hajia Aisha, their missing sister. Based on this positive identification of the corpse, policemen drove to the home of the deceased and found the place locked up. They forced the door open and were confronted by the shocking sight of blood stains all over the house. Meanwhile, the place had been ransacked by the perpetrators of the crime, who probably removed money and other valuable items.

Meanwhile, the relations informed the police that the personal car of the late Hajiya Aisha was not in the compound, but curiously her son’s car was parked within the premises. When the police searched the car, they found blood-stained pillow cases and bed-sheets in the boot of the car. They took the items away as exhibits.

Attention then shifted to what must have happened to the two young daughters, who were also living with their mother. The police promptly suspected that the assailants must have killed them too and probably dumped their bodies where the body of their mother was discovered.

The police team headed straight to the riverside to search for the corpses of the little girls. Fortunately, the two corpses were recovered. One had cuts all over the body, but the other one had its throat slashed through with a knife.

Suspicion immediately fell upon on Kamalu, a school dropout, who relations recalled had consistently threatened to kill his mother if she failed to give him money.
Through diligent detective work, the police tracked him down in Kaduna town where he had driven the mother’s car. Some valuable items and cash belonging to the deceased were also recovered from him.

During interrogation, Kamalu owned up to the crime, and said that he masterminded the brutal and gruesome slaying of his biological mother and two sisters. He also revealed the names of four of his accomplices. Two of them were instantly arrested by the police, but two escaped and have remained at large.

The Zamfara State Police Command said through the public relations officer that it would remain on the trail of the two fugitives, assuring that it would not be long before they are arrested to face the full wrath of the law.

WAITING GAME: AM WAITING FOR MR RIGHT....EBUBE

Ebube Nwagbo is one of the Nollywood big girls that refused to get married. According to her, she believes so much in love and because she's a celeb, finding the right man is hard. Thus that's why she's single... Speaking to Vanguard she said:

“The reason is that I am someone who has always believed in love. It is a big deal to me so if I have to do it, it has to be right. I am a strong believer of love. I get lots of proposals; it is so crazy I do not know who to give a chance to. I think it is a price I have to pay for stardom."

'STAYING MARRIED IS NOT EASY.'... SAYS GENEVIEVE NNAJI

Actress Genevieve Nnaji, says she wants to get it right before she settle down, as she's afraid of divorce...hunnn good talk.

"If I get married, I really want to stay married and staying married is not an easy thing. It means you are completely in tune with your partner. It means you have found your soul mate because you will have to be able to stand a lot of disappointments that would definitely come but then again you have to learn to forgive,” she said. 'I HAVE BEEN TEMPTED MANY TIMES TO CHEAT ON MY HUSBAND'....OMOTOLA

Omotola Jalade Ekeinde, Nollywood star actress said ''I have been tempted many times to cheat on my husband by men I really liked. But when you think of what you stand to lose......it is not worth the trouble.''

In a new interview with Vanguard, star actress said:

"Absolutely. I have been tempted many times to cheat on my husband by men I really liked. But when you think of what you stand to lose, the destruction of all you have labored to build, when you weigh all the options, you are left to conclude that it is not worth the trouble. I know some women will find this somewhat objectionable, but if they want to be truthful to themselves, they will agree with me that, as married women, we have all faced moments that I have just described.” Omotola said

Asked if she receives gifts from her male admirers, a very candid Omotola said
"Sure, I have received lots of goodies from my male admirers. I do not give anything in return. I always tell them that I am married and would not compromise my martial vows. If after making that point clear, they still continue to shower me with gifts, maybe believing that something will break in the future, then I cannot help them.”

Asked if her passion for her husband has cooled with time, Omotola said yes, but she also said it's a normal thing for couples who have been together for a long time. She encouraged women to try something she calls 'temporary separation' to bring back the fire in their marriage
"Of course, it has. Which married woman who has been with her husband for years will, in her true state, tell you that the feeling has remained the same as it was the first time or the first year she met her husband? It is bound to cool off. What I recommend to women is what I call “temporary separation.” You will make yourself unavailable to your husband. Go somewhere, go on vacation with your friends, do something bold, lose weight, look different and, after weeks, come home, looking drop dead gorgeous, and I bet you, the fire of passion will be mightily rekindled and you  will feel brand new again. I have applied this principle in my marriage and it has worked wonders.” she said

UNBELIEVABLE: HOW POLICE KILLED MY BROTHER & BURIED HIM IN A SHALLOW GRAVE IN LEKKI...SAYS SISTER

The police brutalities in Nigeria are on the increase every day.  How can sane police officers shot an unarmed citizen at a blank point without justification?  It was learnt that some policemen attached to Maroko police station in Lagos area are being accused of killing 24-year old Aondona Tavershima and burying him in a shallow grave at Lekki beach.

Sunday Sun reports

Five of the suspected policemen are now currently in police detention. The victim, a motorcycle operator, was alleged to have refused to stop when he was accosted by the policemen who were said to be on patrol at about 11am on the fateful day.
"On realizing that he was dead, the policemen picked his corpse and put it behind their patrol vehicle, a Toyota Hilux Van, and covered it with tyres. They drove to the beach and buried him. We were the ones who alerted the family that their brother had been killed and buried,” the eyewitness disclosed.

Narrating the incident to Sunday Sun on phone, Aondona’s elder sister, Linda, said she got to know about the incident on Thursday, November 11, 2014. “I knew that he left for Lekki with his friend and when he did not come back, I assumed that he had gone to spend time with his friends. When I was told that my brother was killed, my people visited the scene and saw the grave. We later discovered that the policemen were from Maroko police station and we went to lodge a complaint. They promised to invite SCID Panti to exhume the body, as it was not their job. At night, they came and exhumed the body and kept it in a mortuary. The DPO later called me and requested that they would pay us N10 million to end the matter. They said we should go home and think about it and get back to them,” Linda alleged.

Similarly, an in-law to the deceased, Dominic David, claimed that he was told that policemen were trying to arrest Aondona and he refused to stop. “They opened fire on him and shot him.
And even when he fell down, they still continued to shoot.

Initially, they wanted to abandon the corpse, but the owner of the house near where he was killed insisted that they must carry the corpse away.”

“They took his body to Lekki beach and buried him in a grave and covered the burial site with leaves and old carton. Unfortunately, some of the people who witnessed the crime knew us very well and alerted us. They promised that Panti was going to investigate the matter but up till date, they have not done anything about it.”

The lawyer representing the family, Barrister Mindia Chibok, said the family intends to legally seek redress on the injustice meted out to the victim. We expect that by now the matter should have been transferred to an appropriate authority and not the same police station where the crime was committed. We hope that the police authority will order a thorough investigation and ensure that the suspects, including those who are currently at large be arrested and made to face the wrath of the law.
I gathered that six of the suspects are currently at large while five others are in police custody.

Confirming the incident, Lagos Police command spokesman, DSP Kenneth Nwosu, said that as soon as the Commissioner of Police for Lagos State got wind of the incident, he ordered an immediate arrest of the suspected policemen who were alleged to have participated in the killing.

“Five policemen are currently being detained, while State Criminal Investigation Department, Panti, has since commenced an investigation. If found guilty, the officers will be made to face the wrath of the law,” Nwosu said.
