Ghanaian singer and TV personality, Deborah Vanessa, aka Sister Deborah, has expressed her joy at featuring in a Romanian newspaper-nak3d.

Deborah, who is the 1st runner-up of Miss Malaika Beauty Contest in 2004, posted a picture of the newspaper on Instagram, saying..... ‘I woke up in a Romanian newspaper #LiberTateaLumea in @mummyzboi ‘s locker room in Cluj!!!

Ganiyu Adams, Oodua People’s Congress (OPC), factional leader  has told Nigeria Today that he does not agree with projections made by some pundits that Buhari will make a clean sweep of South-west by virtue of the dominance of his party in the geo-political zone, saying, “South-west is a place that you cannot use the media to deceive. We are highly exposed and highly educated.”

His words, “For you to say we should go one way, it is impossible. I don’t think that the South-west will vote for Buhari en mass. Don’t forget the pain caused by the June 12 annulment, it is still fresh in the mind of our people many died in the cause of June 12 struggle, many lost a lot of properties. I don’t think our people will trust a Hausa/Fulani man from the north this time around.”

POVERTY MAKES ENTERTAINERS RUNNING AFTER POLITICIANS...SAYS SAID BALOGUN

Saidi Balogun , in his recent interview with Encomium magazine, said the reason entertainers run away after politicians is because of poverty . excerpt...
"(Poverty), that's why you see some of our people running helter-skelter, campaigning for all these politicians.
 But there's one question we have all not asked, and that's what makes American artists donate to politicians while the actors here in Nigeria are asking from politicians.
Every member of the National Assembly has not made any reasonable law on piracy which has devoured the industry. So, there's poverty in the industry. If there's not, you won't see our people flocking around all these politicians, campaigning, singing and dancing for them.
I saw a candidate being surrounded by some of our colleagues; I now said to myself, 'if this man eventually wins, how many actors or musicians will he remember? Although some are doing it to make ends meet. And it's sad because we're stars.
I think we're supposed to be worshiped, not worshiping others. Even if a governor holds your hand, he's supposed to be happy. But now, the reverse is the case.
