WOMAN HIRED CRIMINAL TO ATTACH HER LOVER !!!

Janet Effiong,32, food seller was arrested along with one, Femi Talabi,  for allegedly conniving with a suspected robber to attack a cab driver, who was allegedly her ex-lover.

They were arrested on Airport Road, near Ajao Estate, in the Isolo area of Lagos on Saturday, February 7th, at about 7.30pm by policemen attached to the Rapid Response Squad.

According to the source, Talabi reportedly contacted Murphy, who worked as a cab driver, to take him to Ajao Estate, with the intention of carrying out the attack on the road.

Effiong, who hailed from Uruan, Akwa Ibom State, said she hired Talabi to deal with her ex-lover because Murphy forced her to abort her pregnancy on two occasions and later abandoned her for other women.

She said, “I contacted Femi (Talabi) to help me deal with my former lover. Murphy and I had been dating since 2012. I lavished money on him, thinking he would marry me. He even borrowed N200, 000 from me and failed to pay back.

“He also impregnated me on two occasions and he forced me to abort them. I insisted I would not abort the third one, and he promised to take care of the baby. But it was a lie.

“So, I hired Femi to trace him and beat him up. Femi said he would get two other friends to do the job. I did not know he would go alone. I promised to pay Femi N20,000.

“I did not plan to kill my lover. I only wanted to punish him for neglecting me for other women.”

Also, 35-year-old Talabi who hails from Epe, Lagos, said the cab driver became suspicious as he wanted to attack him and a physical fight started during which attracted the policemen that arrested him and his victim.

He said, “I live in the Bariga area, but work as an Air conditioner technician in Lekki. I am not a cultist. It was Janet (Effiong) who contacted me to do a job for her. I knew her as a restaurant manager. She said the man was her ex-lover and had abandoned her.

“I called him to take me in his cab to a destination on Airport Road, Isolo, where the attack would take place. I was to pay him N7,000 for the trip. Janeth told me to only assault, and not to kill him. While in the cab, I lied that I wanted to ease myself and he stopped. When he did, I brought out a toy gun and wanted to hit him on the head, but a fight started and we as were struggling with each other, the police found out, and they arrested both of us.”

The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Kenneth Nwosu, confirmed the arrest, adding that the police had concluded investigations on the matter.

“The two suspects have also been charged to court,” he added.

WHY MUST OBASANJO ENDORSED BUHARI....FFK & FAYOSE BITTER

Media and Publicity director of the PDP Presidential Campaign Organization, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, has condemned the statement made by former president Olusegun Obasanjo yesterday in Kenya that General Buhari was qualified to rule Nigeria he supports him.

Fani-Kayode who spoke today in Abuja said:
“I have to confess to you, I have not seen what ex-President Obasanjo said. I have just been told and I haven’t read the text.

“As far as I am concerned, (ex)President Obasanjo is entitled to his opinion. He is a respected member of our society, and we have immense respect for him. This election is about one man, one vote and we should restrict our choices and decisions to ourselves.

“I believe it will be a very sad day indeed, if going by what we all know about General Buhari and what General Obasanjo knows about General Buhari that he will still go out of his way to endorse him for anything and I will be very surprised.

“But we will meet them all at the polls; we will meet on the field and by the grace of God, at the end of it all, those that have endorsed Buhari, of course, they know that President Goodluck Jonathan has come of age and Nigerians will make their choice and we shall win.”

While Ekiti Governor in the statement through his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Idowu Adelusi, in Ado Ekiti said ;

“Leaving President Jonathan and vote for Buhari is like to abandon the road and enter the bush. God forbid we enter the forest which we may not come out from for years.

“How can you follow somebody who because of old age is senile, but being propelled by his followers to fly the plane at all cost. Won’t that plane crash?

IGP MUST HEAR THIS: POLICE ARRANGEMENT.... A VICTIM IS NOW A CRIMINAL!

This is just so sad! A victim is now been victimized! Nigerians and people all over the world knew about this case…that Dada Ogunsanya, a power-drunk cop, paying with Nigerian tax-payer money allegedly used his rifle to hit a citizen Ejeh in the eye and stepped on  his wife’s stomach…’

As Ladun Liadi put it: ‘’these are the kind of stories I read that make me lose hope in the police force and Nigeria as a whole. It is enough that the officer admitted hitting the victims so hard, it is enough the pains they went through, at least even though we were not there, the photos speak out loud. These are the stories young people like us read, and ask ourselves, which way Nigeria? Is it a must we live in this country? Is this the country we intend to raise our kids and start a family? Where a police officer is automatically above the law in some cases?’’

Now they are allegedly framing the man up as a criminal. Read the story as reported by Punch after the cut, you will agree with me that majority of our police are bunch of liars, rogues and corrupt officers that must be re-orientated!

‘The power-drunk cop who tortured a couple in the Ikoyi area of Lagos State, Dada Ogunsanya, has been freed by the police.

However, one of the victims of the torture, Ejeh Smith, is currently being detained in the Ikoyi Police Division.

Punch Metro gathered on Wednesday that the police at the Ikoyi division were mounting pressure on him to admit that he was a criminal.

He was initially arrested by the Lion Building Police Division for allegedly receiving stolen diesel. The Ikoyi division heard about the case after Ejeh had been granted bail, but nevertheless rearrested and brought him before some selected journalists.

The action, it was learnt, was targeted at rubbishing earlier reports indicting Ogunsanya and the then Ikoyi Divisional Police Officer, Aisha Haruna.

Our correspondent had reported in December, 2014 that Ogunsanya, a corporal attached to the Ikoyi division stopped a cab conveying Ejeh and his wife, Grace, home.

The policeman, who was part of a patrol team, was said to have shone his torch on the passengers, who protested that the inner lights of the cab should have sufficed.

Angry Ogunsanya was said to have used his rifle to hit Ejeh in the eye and stepped on Grace’s stomach.

The DPO, Haruna, was alleged to have deleted Grace’s recording of the incident.

The matter was still ongoing, when Punch Metro learnt on Wednesday that Ogunsanya had been released, while Ejeh had been detained for another matter.

Ejeh’s wife, Grace, said her husband was arrested for allegedly receiving a stolen keg of diesel.

She said, “Last week, I returned from work and I saw a 25-litre keg of diesel in the house. My husband said a security man in the next compound wanted to sell it to him. He explained that the security man said he did not have money on him.

“My husband told the man that he would help him sell the fuel, as he had no use of the product.”

It was gathered that the security man had stolen the fuel from his employer, which was later detected through a CCTV camera.

Policemen from the Lion Building division were said to have arrested Smith after the suspect mentioned his name.

Grace said the police in the Lion Building granted bail to her husband, but as Ejeh was going home, policemen from the Ikoyi Division surfaced and said the complainant had demanded that the matter be transferred to the division.

It was gathered that the DPO of Ikoyi division at the time of the torture, Aisha Haruna, is now the DPO of the Lion Building division.

Grace said, “After we paid N15, 000 for Smith’s bail in the Lion Building division, the police said he should be taken to the Ikoyi Police Division, that the owner of the case wanted it transferred there.

“The lawyer representing the complainant wanted to withdraw the case, but the police said the case should go on.

“The police then asked my husband to accept that he is a criminal, so that they can rubbish whatever we said they did to us. They also invited some journalists to interview him.”

It was gathered that Ogunsanya, who was back at the Ikoyi division, had been insisting on Ejeh’s arraignment in court.

But the Public Relations Officer, Lagos State Command, Kenneth Nwosu, said the police did not frame the couple.

He, however, admitted that Ogunsanya had been released, saying his trial had ended.

He said, “Dada Ogunsanya’s trial has ended and his rank was reduced from corporal to constable.

“Smith was arrested by his community for receiving stolen goods and was brought to the Ikoyi Police Division for investigations before charging the matter to court.

“Nobody organised a press conference on his arrest. Some journalists heard about his arrest and called me that they would like to interview him and I cannot stop them.”
