NO TO RAPE: 70-YEAR OLD NUN GANG-RAPED IN INDIA

A 70-year old nun has been gang-raped by a group of robbers when she tried to prevent them from robbing a Christian missionary school at the Convent of Jesus and Mary School in West Bengal state’s Nadia district in eastern #India.

The attack is the latest incident to focus attention on the scourge of sexual violence in India.However,police says the nun was admitted to hospital in serious condition after the attack, while they are still searching for the bandits, who escaped with some cash, a mobile phone, a laptop computer and a camera after vandalising the school.

Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee of West Bengal state, where the school is located, condemned the incident and said “swift, strongest action” would be taken.

According to a Twitter user, since the wind blew off the roof of the main terminal, duties at Yola airport are being carried out outside!!! This statement was confirmed by another twitter user that it has been this way for over three years. It was initially fixed but it broke down again due to substandard materials used........ Nigeria I hail thee.

TEACHER 'DIRTY' SLAP LEAVES A STUDENT BLIND IN IBADAN

 Secretary to the principal of Bishop Phillips Academy, Ibadan Oyo State Mrs Funke Fashina, allegedly slapped a 14-year old female SS2 student on the 29^th of January, 2015 over what she could have overlooked, and left the poor girl blind!!!

Iyanuoluwa Dahusi, who narrated her ordeal thus:......she are her two of her friends  were inside an unused room when they spotted their teacher and wanted to greet her, on getting out, they met with the principal’s secretary who asked what they were doing in the room, and before they could explain, she slapped them one after the other.

Dahunsi who didn’t feel any unusual pain, but when she got home later that they, trouble started, she began to feel a slight pain, then it eloped, it became bigger and unbearable. She managed it all through the weekend before her mother who had blamed her for the slap followed her to school to tell the principal about her daughter’s ordeal. The principal was amazed, the eye didn’t look normal. So he advised her to take her daughter to the hospital and that was how the story began.

However, Mrs Fashina showed little or no concern, and never contributed any money even after bills from the hospital started coming in!!! This prompted her parents to report the matter to the police.

The matter is still very much on. Her parents also want Mrs Fashina to confess if she used any charm on her daughter, because to her it couldn’t have been an ordinary slap.

PDP FUNERAL WILL HOLD AS SCHEDULE ON MARCH 28TH... SAYS OYEGUN

Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, APC’s National Chairman, has said that his party will have a proper funeral ceremony for PDP come March 28th. Oyegun made this known in Port Harcourt at the APC’s zone rally on March 14th.

"We were in the North-west yesterday. You know the North-West is the home base of the in-coming president. South-South is also important to us because it is the home of the out-going president.  These zones are crucial. I thank you for your support, courage and resilience. You have survived your oppressors despite all odds. Goodluck Jonathan is our son and brother but he has failed us as a region and Nigeria. So we want to send him on an honourable retirement. I know you will all support the APC in this venture because we must send him home.

PDP is confused and disoriented. They have no sense of direction. PDP is down but not out yet. So a lot of work still needs to be done, that is why we are here. Let me also assure you that PDP’s funeral still holds despite the rescheduling of the elections. We will have a good funeral ceremony for PDP come March 28. I want you to promise me that you will all come out and deliver these votes. And that you will be there, ready and prepared to make sure that every vote counts. We are going to deliver the entire South- South to our president in-waiting, General Muhammadu Buhari”he said.

MY HUSBAND MUST COMPLETE A SECOND TERM....PATIENCE JONATHAN

First Lady, Dame Patience Jonathan has made it clear that her husband must complete a second term as stipulated by the Constitution. She spoke in Benin, Edo State on Saturday at a women’s rally where she was highlighted her husband’s achievements:

“Everybody is staying there for eight
years. Now it’s our turn. We must complete our eight years. It is a constitution of this country. We will complete our two tenure and hand over.

“I am a peaceful person and I preach peace anywhere I go. They are looking for fight, they are looking for war. They are troublesome people. That is why they went and take expired drugs.

“Now they are crying. They are the people stoning people and nobody talk. They are dragging stadium but me I am ready to go to the street and do my campaign.

“The president is building schools. That is why in the whole federation when he came in, he built universities in every state. He built federal universities so that our children should go and learn.

“Goodluck has built uncountable hospitals, primary health centres. He equipped primary health centres, trained doctors and nurses

“In Edo State, the federal university has been rehabilitated and well equipped for us. He gave our sons scholarships. Mr. President is ready to pay if you don’t have money to pay for your children.

“They were there years back. They have nothing to offer. Ask them what they offered to us when they were there. They were in Aso Rock before, what did they forget in Aso Rock they want to go and take. Days are gone when old people will continue to dominate us”.

CREFLO DOLLAR DELETES WEBSITE WHERE HE WAS 'CANVASSING' PEOPLE TO DONATES $65M FOR AIR JET

 Televangelist Creflo Dollar, and founder of World Changers Church International, has deleted the website where he was begging people to donate $65million for him to buy a brand new luxurious. He also deleted the Gofundme page where he asked 200,000 people to donate $300 each for him to acquire the Gulfstream G650 airplane...... maybe he did this due to backlash from online community.
