JEREMY CLARKSON: GOING! GOING!! GONE!!

At last,the hide and seek game being played by the BBC have come to an end, and they saw reason why Jeremy Clarkson, Top Gear presenter has to go! ‘He wasn't being sacked for always making gaffes about foreigners, but for physically attacking a producer on the show. I suppose the 'producer' must be white. Woreva sha, something has to be the reason and he's now going! Going!!Gone!!! People like him should not be gracing our TV screens.’

 It would be recalled that earlier this week, Radio 1 controller Ben Cooper said: "I think if my son or daughter went to a place of work where they were shouted at, abused and someone threw a punch at them I would want there to be an inquiry and for that to be dealt with in a very serious way and that's what the BBC is currently doing."But he said in The Sunday Times that it had all been in good humour, writing: "It was all meant in jest and anyway it worked.

The Director General of the BBC, Lord Hall, is expected to make an announcement today after an internal investigation was conducted during Clarkson’s suspension from the BBC show.

Clarkson unapologetic wrote: "By being brief, controversial and a bit sweary I woke the room up and the auction prize I was offering - one last lap of the Top Gear test track - raised £100,000."

"To be in the audience of Top Gear there was an 18-year waiting list. You know the BBC has f*themselves, and so who gives a f***? "It was a great show and they f* it up." Clarkson said.

He is reported to be considering new shows, including a programme about a novice trying to run a farm.

Clarkson tweeted his thanks to supporters of a petition, delivered by tank to BBC headquarters in London on Friday, but declared in his column in The Sun that "protest never works".

Meanwhile, with money-spinning show Top Gear off air during the internal investigation, May has been tweeting about getting to grips with life without work to distract him.

He wrote at the weekend: "Woodwork tasks today. Being jobless allows you to revisit old interests, learn new things, and listen to the radio more. Sold the telly."

May had previously told his fans: "I've been given some heavy gardening work today. Temptation to cut my own head off with the chainsaw may prove too strong. #StillUnemployed."

MURDERED SILVERBIRD STAFF: FOUR SUSPECTS ARRESTED

Contrary to tales that Silverbird group staff, Aishat Noble-Mustapha, was allegedly murdered by her boyfriend, sources have revealed a cover-up.(read here )
A staff of STV Group, David Ubadike told Encomium magazine that a neighbour who has now emerged as the prime suspect in the case is allegedly cooked up the story.
“Aishat’s killers have not been established but the police have made a few arrests. Initially they arrested one Chima Shadrack Mmuta, the prime suspect.
In all, they have arrested four of her neighbors including the said Chima and one Mr Ogundimu who happen to be within the premises when the incident occurred,” Ubadike revealed.

“The other two are Chima’s host, the people he lived with. Investigations is still ongoing and the case has been transferred to the state Criminal Investigation Division Panti. No boyfriend or lover killed Aishat.

The prime suspect cooked up the story in his defense. Every evidence the police has points at him. In his defense, he claimed he saw a guy beating and stabbing her and then drove off in a car. The police asked him to describe the person and car he drove off in, he couldn’t give a description. Also he was found with the victims blood stained phone two days after while in the police cell. He hid it in his under pants. However he remains a suspect, though he is the prime suspect until the police come up with clear facts” he said

On whether she was pregnant before she was murdered, he said; “Autopsy is yet to be carried out on her corpse and until then we cannot really say whether she was pregnant. The pregnancy stuff we hear is more of speculation. I have seen Aisha transit from a slim girl to a fat girl and back to a slim girl. Most people probably saw a picture of her looking fat and assumed she was pregnant. The Aisha I knew before the unfortunate incident was on the slim side trying to gain weight again. For now, its mere speculation.

CAR SNATCHER CAUGHT AFTER THE STOLEN CAR DEVELOPED A FAULT

A suspected car snatcher, Emmanuel Chukwunonso, 24, who claimed that he was formerly selling Indian hemp in Imo State before he came to Lagos, has been arrested by the police after the stolen vehicle had a fault.

 Punch Metro learnt that Chukwunonso was nabbed by the Maroko Police Division in the Lekki area of Lagos. Another gang member, identified simply as Chima, is currently on the run.

“When I came to the Lekki area of Lagos, I took up work as a security man. I was paid N25,000 monthly.
“After I was fired from the security work, a friend, Chima, and I decided we were going to rob and get money to solve our problems. It was on February 23 that we snatched the car.“Two ladies were inside the vehicle. We accosted them and pointed a gun at them. They both jumped out and took to their heels. It was a toy gun.
“As we fled, the vehicle began to give us problems. It had a gear problem.As I alighted, a crowd swooped on me, but Chima escaped.”

The All Progressives Congress has warned against any orchestrated, last-minute disqualification of its presidential candidate, Gen. Buhari, in order to pave the way for an easy victory for President Jonathan or even another postponement of the elections

"If it is true, as it is being widely speculated across the country, that the Jonathan Administration has procured a judgement to disqualify the APC Presidential Candidate on Wednesday, when the Federal High Court in Abuja is expected to rule on the issue, then it portends a great danger for our country,'' the party warned in a statement issued in Abuja on Tuesday by its National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Lai Mohammed.

It said, in addition to other reasons, the six-week postponement of the elections may have been used by those who never wanted the polls to hold in the first instance to shop for such a satanic judgement.

''Anyone who will disqualify a presidential candidate on the eve of an election can only have one and only one purpose for that: to trigger chaos and pandemonium across the country. Perhaps this is the reason for the deployment of troops across the country to crack down on possible protests and create confusion

''Then, those who orchestrated the disqualification will simply use what they expect to be angry reactions nationwide as an excuse to postpone the elections again, thus triggering a constitutional crisis,the end of which no one can predict.

''This is why we are hoping that good reason will prevail and nothing will be done, deliberately, to plunge Nigeria into crisis by the same people who have always been quick to say their political ambition is not worth the blood of any Nigerian,'' APC said.

ELECTIONS IN NIGERIA: POLICE ISSUES MOVEMENTS RESTRICTION ORDER !!!

The press statement from the Nigeria Police Force below...

As part of efforts to ensure adequate security in the forthcoming general elections across all the Federation on Saturday 28th March, 2015 and 11th April, 2015, the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Suleiman Abba, CFR, NPM, NPOM, mni has ordered the restriction on vehicular movements as follows:
(i) Saturday 28th March, 2015, 8.00am – 5.00pm only.
 (ii) Saturday 11th April, 2015 8.00am – 5.00pm only

This total restriction of movements order applies to all, except for Ambulances, Fire service trucks and others on essential duties. Consequently, travellers and citizens who intend to use roads on these days and hours are advised to plan alternative times for their travelling.

While expressing his regrets over the inconveniences that road users and the general public may encounter as a result of this restriction, the IGP appeals for the understanding and cooperation of the entire citizenry, as the restriction is done in the nation’s interest.  

The IGP assures that adequate security logistics and manpower have been strategically deployed to achieve a most conducive electioneering atmosphere.  In this regard, Policemen for election duty have been properly trained, briefed and sensitized on their roles as stipulated in the Electoral Act. They are expected to be professional, non-partisan, civil but firm in their approach and relation to the public.

Meanwhile, citizens are enjoined to remain vigilant and report all suspicious movements or dealings to appropriate Police authority.
