TRAGEDY: NIGERIAN MAN SHOT HIS WIFE THEN KILLED HIMSELF OVER ARGUMENT IN USA

A Nigerian man Muhammadu Igomigoh,49 , a security guard, shot his Nigerian girlfriend, 44 year old Nnenna Ogbonna, a licensed nurse and then killed himself during an argument at their home in Middle River, Baltimore USA on Tuesday February 16th.

According to police report, Igomigoh and Nnenna had two children together but no longer lived together. Igomigoh lived in the 300 block of Shagbark Road while Nnenna lived in the 700 block of Northrup Lane, where the shooting happened.

Detectives found that he had visited her home on the day of the incident and the two had argued over finances. ‎Igomigoh, who had a licensed gun as a security guard, shot his girlfriend and then turned the gun on himself,.

According to the Lagos state commissioner for Health, Jide Idris, at a news conference in Lagos today February 19th, no fewer than 25 children have been confirmed dead following an outbreak of the Febrile Rash Illnesses (FRI) in Otodo-Gbame community in Ikate, Lekki.

He said though the source of the disease is still unknown, 34 cases of sick children with FRI is currently being treated while the graves of 20 children have been identified by their parents.

“The graves of 20 children who died from the FRI since the day of onset of signs and symptoms in the first case on January 6 were identified by their parents. Also, 34 cases have been line listed so far with 17 males and 17 females; 17 dead patients have been identified with nine males and eight females, all are within the age range of eight and 72 months. The source of the infection is still under investigation and until we know the required source, we cannot say for sure, what is causing it.”he said

He disclosed that the first case of the disease was reported in January 2016 this year in a community predominantly occupied by the Eguns. He said after contracting the ailment, the affected children developed rashes, which was similar to the symptoms of measles, and they died two to three days after. Idris said that a team of epidemiologists from the state ministry of health are yet to come up with the report on the source of the strange infection, but added that the signs and symptoms of the illness suggested Febrile Rash. “Blood samples and throat swabs from the patients and water samples from the community have been taken to the Virology Reference Laboratory"he said

He appealed to members of the public to maintain a clean environment as the government battles to stop the spread of the disease.

Court grants EFCC request to seize Tompolo assets...and auctioned same if he fails to appears after 3months !

A Federal High Court sitting in Lagos today granted the request of the EFCC to seize some assets belonging to former Niger Delta militant leader, Government Ekpemupolo, alias Tompolo who has been declared wanted for refusing to appear in court to answer to charges of corruption leveled against him by the anti-graft agency.

The presiding judge, Justice Ibrahim Buba in his ruling on the application filed by EFCC, said the assets should be seized until Tompolo comes out of hiding and appears in court to answer the charges of N45.9bn fraud preferred against him and nine others.

Justice Buba ruled that the assets should be auctioned if Tompolo fails to come out of hiding three months after this order.

Among the assets to be seized by the EFCC include his house located at No. 1, Chief Agbamu Close DDPA Extension Warri (Effurun), Delta State, his River Crew Change Boat named MUHA -15; “Tompolo Dockyard,” “Tompolo Yard,” the Diving School at Kurutie, at Escravos River; “Tompolo House” at Oporaza Town, opposite the Palace.

Demehim, the Olugbo-in-Council, asserts that the reported arrest of the Highly Revered Monarch, who is the Paramount Ruler and Prescribed Authority of Ugboland as well as Founder of the Multi-Billion Dollar Obat Group is completely false. According to High Chief Isaiah Demehin, “the news report by Sahara Reporters which is also being peddled by several soft sell bloggers that Kabiyesi was arrested by EFCC for Money Laundering is not only laughable and false but also a sacrilege to the traditional stool of our land.

SAD: EX-PRES.JONATHAN COUSIN WHO WAS KIDNAPPED WITH HIS DAD.. FOUND DEAD !!

 Former President Goodluck Jonathan’s cousin ,Samuel Oki, who was kidnapped alongside Chief Inegite Nitabai Jonathan, the former president's foster father, has been found dead and his body floating on Otuoke river, two days after they were both abducted at their home in Otueke by unknown gunmen.

According to Premium Times, the Bayelsa state Police spokesperson, confirmed this development. Some fishermen in Otuoke community discovered the decomposing body of 35 year old Samuel this morning. The whereabouts of 72 year old Pa Jonathan is still unknown.
