PHOTO: RMD WITH KIDS ON FATHER'S DAY " 70 THE NEW 40"

Veteran Nollywood actor, Richard Mofe Damijo,(RMD), has shared adorable picture with his lovely children to celebrate Father's day.

"When I was younger, I looked at my dad as very old and now, In a changing world when 70 (years old) is the new 40, I wonder how my kids look at me-lol-. I am grateful I can relate better with my children, have conversations rather than just give orders/instructions, have them run up to me when I get home rather than run off into their rooms.

I have resolved to evolve with them, watch trends closely and keep finding ways to keep up with them without losing the values I hold dear and want to impart in them.

To every father providing not just financially but also providing the love, acceptance, emotional and spiritual stability their children need. To every father looking for ways to win or retain the confidence of their children in a changing world. To every father striving at being a better dad than our fathers were. To every father who has resolved to raise their kids better than our parents did, I say Happy Father's Day and I pray for you today that God will furnish you exceedingly and abundantly with all the wisdom and resources you require to be the father your family needs. God bless you all"

162 DUBIOUSLY REGISTERED SIM CARDS RECOVERED FROM EVANS~~POLICE

A senior Police officer has disclosed that 162 phones lines have been recovered from suspect.

The officer who pleaded anonymity said;

"More discoveries have been made during investigation. On Wednesday, we discovered that Evans still had 36 more SIM cards outside the 126 lines we already have.

He has 11 phones, including a Thuraya and 2 Vertu phones, valued at N2.4 million and N2.6 million, respectively. That was why it was very difficult to arrest him because the two phones can operate without SIM cards.

That is the kind of phone the Boko Haram terrorist group is using in the desert. All the 162 lines are operational lines, except one that is for his immediate family. We are working on the new lines and phones. .

Turaya is a satellite phone. In Nigeria, we don't have the capability to track Turaya. He used the three phones for his nefarious activities. We succeeded in tracking him through the other phones he has."
He went further to disclose that SIM cards used by Evans complicated the challenges posed by the sophisticated phones, as he bought SIM cards registered from miscreants in Computer Village, Ikeja.

"We studied and analysed 162 SIM cards before we caught him. We have about two-page analysis of each of the numbers. He used 161 of those numbers to call his gang members only and used one to call his mother, wife and sister.
He said he bought all the SIM cards already registered in Computer Village for N1,500 each. We picked his sister, his childhood friend with whom he attended primary school, and four of his girlfriends.

They gave us the information that led to his arrest. Evans confirmed that they didn't know he was into kidnapping. Because of that, we granted them bail, while investigations continue" he said.
Another source confided that aside from a camp in New Igando, where Evans kept his victims, operatives had uncovered two other camps, which would soon be visited.

3 WORSHIPERS DIED DURING DELIVERANCE IN DELTA STATE

Delta State's Police Command PRO, DSP Andrew Aniamaka, on Tuesday confirmed that 3 worshipers of a church located in the outskirt of Warri, died during a deliverance service.

He went further to disclose that one of the deceased drowned, while two others died during a prayer session in the church during the weekend.

"The information actually is that one worshiper drowned and two died in the church; that is the information available to me at the moment," Aniamaka said.

According to NAN, a source who spoke with newsmen identified those who died as; 10-year-old boy Emmanuel Odili; Mrs Beatrice Nwachukwu and Mr Antonio Abba.

The source who pleaded anonymity, added that the late Odili, had on Friday accompanied his mother to the church to worship, but fell into a pit inside the church premises and died, his corpse was later found on Saturday, by members of the church after he had been declared missing by his parents.

The source said that the church authority deposited the remains of the boy at a morgue before reporting the incident at Eburumede Police Station.

"The authority of the church alleged that (one of) the deceased had mental disorder which was denied by the parents.
"While the matter was being investigated, some members of the church on Saturday came to report that Mrs Nwachukwu and Mr Abba had died during deliverance in the church.

"They (church authority) said that Nwachukwu slumped during the prayer session; they also claimed she had high blood pressure but the husband denied it."

When contacted, the spokesman of the church, Mr Godday Emiko, denied the allegation through a text message.

"Sorry, I miss your call, there is nothing like that," Emiko said.
