SUSPECTED THIEF DIES AFTER TRYING TO CUT ELECTRIC CABLES IN ABIA

A suspected thief have met his Waterloo after he went to cut electric cables from a pole at Aro Ngwa, Aba, Abia state and the pole fell and trapped him. See photo below.....

The Minister of Women Affairs, Aisha Alhassan, has restated her position that she will support a former vice president, Atiku Abubakar, for the 2019 presidential election.


Mrs. Alhassan, in an interview with BBC Hausa, added that even if President Muhammadu Buhari decides to contest in 2019, she would still support Mr. Abubakar. Atiku is my godfather even before I joined politics,” she said in Hausa. “And again, Baba Buhari did not tell us that he is going to run in 2019.


“Let me tell you today that if Baba said he is going to contest in 2019, I swear to Allah, I will go before him and kneel and tell him that ‘Baba I am grateful for the opportunity you gave me to serve your government as a minister but Baba just like you know I will support only Atiku because he is my godfather. If Atiku said he is going to contest.”


Mrs. Alhassan, popularly called Mama Taraba, added that she is not scared of being relieved of her job as minister.
“If because of what I said, I am sacked, it will not bother me because I believe in Allah, that my time has elapsed that is why.

A Muslim cleric and one other were allegedly apprehended on Wednesday 6th of September, while trying to use a lady for ritual purpose at Olorunda Local Council Development Area in Badagry, Lagos.

The lady who is said to be from Ibadan, Oyo state capital luckily survived the ritual attempt, according to Abbey Peter.

COMMUNITY SEALS PASTOR'S HOUSE FOR BURYING COFFIN AND CHARMS IN THE LAND !

The Ipinsa community in the Akure South Local Government Area of Ondo State has  accused a pastor, identified as Abiodun, of involving in fetish activities in the town.

It was gathered that sequel to the development, the traditional ruler of the community, Oba Omoniyi Olufunmilayo, on Tuesday ordered that Abiodun’s land in the community and his house located in the Ayedun area of Akure, should be sealed up.

Abiodun was accused of burying a coffin and some other fetish items on his piece of land in the community.

A source said; “The failure of the pastor to remove the fetish items on the land prompted the people of the community to take action against him.
“The Akapinsa of Ipinsaland, Oba Omoniyi Olufunmilayo, ordered that palm fronds should be placed in front of his house and the land, which traditionally means that the house has been sealed up until kabiyesi reverses the order.”

According to the source, the land and the house will remain sealed up until the pastor digs up and removes the items he buried in the land.

When contacted on the telephone, Oba Olufunmilayo said he would not make any comment on the development on the telephone.

He said, “If you want to talk to me, come and see me in my palace.”
The pastor was said to have left the community and his whereabouts was unknown as of the time of filing this report.

The man pictured above is Solomon Agbo, dark in complexion with beards, and he has been reported missing! He left home (Nyanya Abuja) shortly after 3pm on Tuesday 5th September 2017 to go to church (Firehouse Church, Nyanya Abuja) and has not returned since then nor heard from. He had no phone with him.
