NIGERIANS DRAGS DADDY FREEZE IN THE MUD FOR MOCKING LEGIT INCOME EARNERS WITH HUSHPUPPI (VIDEO)

Few days ago, BWF published a story on how Media personality, Daddy Freeze, exposed, Dubai based fraudster,Hushpuppi.(read the story here)
A video(WATCH THE VIDEO HERE) on Thursday went viral on social media showing Daddy Freeze sometime in 2019 dining with Hushpuppi and his gang ,laughing and mocking legit income earners after Hushpuppi said his driver collects N700,000 monthly salary.

“Hushpuppi’s driver collects 700,000 in a month, yet people abusing him on social media are working as houseboys with a pay of N35,000,” Freeze said.

His comment has since stirred reactions from Nigerians especially since the vocal OAP known for criticizing pastors for their wealthy lifestyle has maintained silence over Hushpuppi’s arrest.

HUSHPUPPI SCAMMED 2 MILLION PEOPLE FROM DIFFERENT PARTS OF THE WORLD~~DUBAI POLICE

Dubai based fraudster, Ramon Abass Igbalode, aka Hushpuppi.according to the Dubai Police Force,on its official Twitter handle on Thursday,scammed no fewer than 1,926,400 people from different parts of the world .

The Dubai police said the operation leading to the arrests was dubbed “Fox Hunt 2”.

While footage of the operation played, a narrator said, “In less than just four months, the Dubai Police Force was able to solve the new operation dubbed Fox Hunt 2, where 12 other gang members were also arrested.

“Six raids were carried out simultaneously while the suspects were sleeping in their Dubai residences. After months of investigating and hours of monitoring the gang’s social media accounts, a team of highly trained Dubai Police officers were able to confirm the gang’s whereabouts and fraudulent activities.

“The Nigerian Instagram celebrity, who was arrested on multiple fraud charges for crimes committed in different parts of the world, boasted about his wealth and expensive possession on social media, claiming he is a successful businessman.

“Little did Abass (Huspuppi) know that Dubai E-police were tracking his every move and taking note of all his social media activities.”


“Before their arrest, Abass (Hushpuppi) and his crew members were responsible for scams amounting to 1.6 billion Dirham. The police officers were also able to seize items worth 150 million Dirham after they claimed 21 laptops, 47 smartphones, 15 storage devices, and five hard disk containing data.

“Additional 13 luxury cars worth 35m Dirham were bought by Hushpuppi and his gang using the money they stole from their victims,” the police said.

KATSINA POLICE ARRESTED A MAN FOR ALLEGEDLY KILLING HIS WIFE AND DUMPING IN A WELL

The Katsina police has arrested a 40-year-old man identified as Abdulrahaman Abdulkarim, for allegedly killing his 19-year-old wife Wasila Sara and dumping her corpse inside a well.


Katsina police command spokesperson, Gambo Isa said;

 
    “On 14/06/2020 at about 02:00hrs, a distress call was received that one Abdulrahaman Abdulkarim, ‘m’, aged 40yrs of Madabu village, Dabawa, Dutsinma LGA of Katsina State killed his junior wife one Wasila Sada, ‘f’, aged 19years and dumped her dead body in a well.

    “Consequently, DPO Dutsinma led a team of detectives to the scene, recovered the body and took it to the General Hospital where it was confirmed dead by the attending physician after post mortem examination.

    “The suspect has been arrested and is assisting the police in their investigation. An investigation is ongoing.”

167 NIGERIANS STRANDED IN SOUTH AFRICA ARRIVES HOME

Ms Abike Dabiri, Chairman, Nigerians in Diaspora Commission,has announced the arrival of 167 Nigerians who were stranded in South Africa. This is coming after the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama, disclosed on Twitter that the flight which departed O.R. Tambo International Airport, Johannesburg, South Africa, will touch down in Abuja before Lagos, its final destination.

According to Abike Dabiri, sharing this news on her official twitter page, she wrote; “167 Nigerians stranded in South Africa have arrived the Abuja Airport . They all tested negative to Covid 19 and will go on 14 day compulsory self isolation . They will be tested at an NCDC facility within the 14 days”

SENATOR ABIOLA AJIMOBI IS DEAD

Ex- Governor of Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi is dead.

Ajimobi, who had been on a life support machine at First Cardiology Hospital in Ikoyi, Lagos, after slipping into a coma following Coronavirus complications, died on Thursday.

The former Chief Executive Officer, National Oil and Chemical Marketing Company, a subsidiary of Shell Nigeria, died due to underlying health conditions, which was worsened by COVID-19.


Publisher, Ovation Magazine, Dele Momodu, also took to his Twitter handle to mourn with the family of the deceased.

PDP REACTS TO GOV. NYESOM WIKE CALLING ITS PARTY LEADERS 'TAX COLLECTOR'

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has reacted to Governor Nyesom Wike's claim of some members of its National Working Committee (NWC) being sycophants.

 

In a statement released by PDP's national secretary, Kola Ologbondiyan, the party denied sponsoring a media publication to malign Governor Nyesom Wike and further stated that it won't allow its enemies to cause distraction within its fold ahead of the Edo State governorship election.

 

The statement read;

  “The NWC also wishes to place on record that none of its members has acted like a “tax collector” in whatever meaning the term represents, either in the process leading to the Edo primary election, or any other state.

    “Our party holds Governor Wike and indeed all our PDP governors, who, of course, have been the pillars of our great party, with utmost respect and had always consulted them on all party affairs.

    “PDP appreciates the efforts and sacrifices of our governors and will not allow enemies of our party, who are out to cause disunity in our fold by sponsoring baseless publications against our leaders, to have their way.”
