MFM ALLEGED FRAUD @ LONDON BRANCH OF THE CHURCH

The General Overseer of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM), Dr. Daniel Olukoya has  denied any link to fraudulent activities allegedly involving the London branch of his church.

Olukoya, also, added that allegations leveled against him and the MFM were without foundation, but intent to damage his reputation and destroy the global image of the church.

However, i beg to disaggre with Olukoya , based on what the UK Charity Commission published on their website. Harriet Whitehead, wrote on Civil Society News on 5 Aug 2019, thus:
"The Charity Commission has appointed an interim manager at Christian charity Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries International (MFM) after uncovering further concerns over its governance in an ongoing inquiry. In March 2018, the Commission opened a statutory inquiry to look into a number of issues. These included the repeated late filing of financial information, and worry over the trustees’ unwillingness to report serious incidents. The Commission has now said it has further concerns, including a failure to swiftly report fraud, and has appointed an interim manager after trustees continued to fail to comply with their legal duties."
"The Commission also has questions over the governance of the charity. Three trustees are paid, which is in breach of the charity’s governing document and “causes conflict” when employment matters are discussed. The organisation currently has 28 employees and 62 volunteers. The Commission said that despite its continued engagement, the trustees are still not complying with their legal duties, including failing to submit accurate financial accounts on time. The Commission has therefore appointed an interim manager whose remit includes reviewing the charity’s financial and governance processes, inspecting a number of the charity’s branches and their handling of serious incidents. The interim manager assumes these duties at the exclusion of the charity’s trustees, who retain control over matters relating to religious activities."
Kirsty Weakley, on 6 Jun 2018, also wrote; "Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries International’s accounts for the year ending December 2016 reveal that there have been two incidents where money has been lost.

The first “relates to Gift Aid payments made on behalf of the charity for the years between 2005 and 2012”. The second involves the mismanagement of funds by a branch.

It said it can’t estimate the amount that has been lost “as both matters are currently under investigation by trustees and have been reported to Charity Commission”.

One branch is also involved in a planning dispute with a local council and there is currently an enforcement proceeding against the charity relating to “a branch carrying out its activites in a rented property without prior permission from council”.

WHY BLOGGERS ARE AFTER ALAAFIN: GOD HAS GIVEN ME GRACE TO KEEP BEAUTIFUL WOMEN~~ALAAFIN

Alaafin of Oyo, Alayeluwa Lamidi Adeyemi is an OBA with the highest number of beautiful Oloris in Nigeria, with majority are young beauties in their 30s and 40s.

City People reports that the Alaafin’s wives are up to 13 where Ayaba Abibat Adeyemi, the first wife is 80 years old.

There are a few other older Olori’s. But he has some pretty young wives who are about 8. The wives are Queen Memunat, Queen Damilola, Queen Anu, Queen Mojisola, Queen Ola Badirat, Queen Folashade, Queen Omobolanle and Queen Rukayat Abbey Adeyemi.

Revealing how he got attracted to all his Oloris, the Alaafin of Oyo said thus:
“I did not propose to any of my wives. They desired to be with me because I sent them to school. After their university education, I told them to leave but they refused and insisted on staying with me here in the palace as my wives.

The least educated of them has a Higher National Diploma and is now in the University. I don’t begrudge or offend women. Marriage is an institution that must be defended.

Each partner has a role to play in the marriage. My wives have their individual quarters. God has given me some type of ability and grace to keep a woman, especially beautiful women. I don’t disclose my conversations or activities with one wife to another.

I maintain a strict code of confidentiality. I have learnt that I must positively make an impact on people and make a great first impression. Of course, they (wives) sometimes have disagreements and conflicts of opinion but I have been ‘graced’ by God to know how to ensure that the conflicts don’t escalate.”

EMBARRASSING SHOW AT THE BURIAL OF DAPO WILLIAMS : WIDOW BARRED PREVIOUS CHILDREN FROM THE PROGRAM

Otunba Dapo Williams, who was popularly known as DW was an  accomplished man in his life time. He was a corporate real estate consultant with a deep involvement in the Gas and Oil sector as a forecourt Petroleum products retailer.
The demised of Otunba Dapo Williams shows that each family have their own internal problems, that is to say all that glitters are not gold.
On Wednesday, 26 August, 2020,in a video that went viral on social media, when Tina, the widow of the leader of the Nigerian Community in the United Kingdom, Otunba (Dr.) Oladapo Williams, chased his first son, Tolulope and daughter, Simi away from their father’s burial.

The embarrassing event prevented the children of the prominent London socialite from performing burial rites for their late father.

It was revealed that Tina, expressly ordered that the children from Williams’ previous marriage be barred from the programme.

“Tina asked the security men to remove Dapo’s two other children from the burial ground and there was a huge scene. Eventually, Tolu and Simi, who were accompanied by their mother, were persuaded to allow Tina finish her tasks at the grave site. Later, they went back to pay their last respect to their father.

“Another issue is that the man died a Muslim, there was no record of him ever going to church or becoming a Christian but he ended up being buried as a Christian because Tina, who had only one daughter for him later in life, felt he should be buried as a Christian,” said a source.

The remains of Williams, the Otunba Tayese of Akokolabd, Ondo State, were laid to rest in Sidcup, South East London. The burial was a small and intimate ceremony, which was attended by just close family members and friends, including Otunba Wale Kalejaiye, founder of the Nigerian Think Tank Group, of which Williams was a former chairman and till his death, a Board of Trustees member.

Williams will be mostly remembered by many community events, initiatives and projects organisers for his incredible generosity and encouraging spirit.
