I ASSENTED TO CAMA2020 TO ENHANCE TRANSPARENCY ~~PMB

President Muhammadu Buhari has said that he assented to the Companies and Allied Matters Act (CAMA), 2020 to enhance transparency and corporate accountability in the fight against corruption in the country.

In a video message he presented at the Open Government Partnership (OGP) 2020 Virtual Leaders’ Summit on the sidelines of the 75th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA-75) in New York, United States, yesterday, Buhari said that since he assumed office in 2015, he has demonstrated enough commitment to the fight against corruption in Nigeria.
The president in a statement issued on the event by his special adviser on media, Femi Adesina, said: ”Since the inception of our administration in 2015, the government has been committed to changing international and domestic perceptions regarding Nigeria’s commitment to fight corruption and foster good governance.
”We focused on the task of dealing head- on with this destructive monster, which led to us joining the Open Government Partnership and making reform commitments such as to establish a public central register of beneficial owners of corporate entities.
”Since then, we have made significant progress in implementing tougher anti- corruption measures, including my recent assent to the Companies and Allied Matters Act, 2020.
”The Act provides a legal framework for the implementation of Beneficial Ownership Information Disclosure in Nigeria. Being an OGP member-country has helped Nigeria learn from other countries tackling similar challenges, and to build a coalition to support these reforms across the private sector and civil society. It has also aided our journey towards building citizens’ trust in government,” he stated.

TWO NIGERIAN NATIONAL AND ONE VIETNAMESE WOMAN ARRESTED FOR DRUG TRAFFICKING IN VIETNAM

Anti-narcotics police in Ho Chi Minh City, on Thursday, September 24, arrested two Nigerian nationals and one Vietnamese woman for trafficking methamphetamine.

Ochie Paul Ejike, 51, and his 35-year-old Vietnamese wife and business partner Ly Moc Kiu, along with fellow Nigerian Chukwuemeka Confidence Onyiriuka were identified as "major figures" in a drug trafficking ring monitored by police for several months prior to the arrests.

Earlier, police had found Chukwuemeka often received shipments of clothing from Cambodia at an apartment in Binh Tan District, though without any clothes ever seen being sold.

Every week, Chukwuemeka had met Ochie and his partner at various secret locations.

After months of monitoring, police identified the three as part of a drug trafficking ring in the city.

Last week, Kiu was driving on Quang Trung Street in Go Vap District when she was stopped by police. Officers subsequently found three kilograms of meth hidden in tea packages inside her storage compartment.

Phung told investigators she used to sell clothes and that she was married to Ochie. After giving birth to two children, they switched to trading drugs, assisted by various Nigerian compatriots.

Each week, Kiu received five to seven kilograms of meth, which she delivered to her partners. She earned VND70 million per kg, investigators said. Police are expanding their investigation.

According to top police officers, Ho Chi Minh City, also commonly referred to to as Saigon, has been a transit hub for drugs trafficked from the Golden Triangle. From there, the drugs are taken to Taiwan, the Philippines, Malaysia, South Korea and even Europe, Australia and Latin America.

Vietnam has some of the world’s toughest drug laws. Those convicted of possessing or smuggling more than 600 g of heroin or over 2.5 kg of methamphetamine face death

MAUREEN BADEJO EXPOSES MFM G.O DESPITE BROWN ENVELOPE JOURNALISM

The Bible says you shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free. The facts that are coming out from Maureen Badejo , a UK vlogger/blogger about ou untouchable men of God in Nigeria are just too overwelming than to just ignored.

What is the meaning of 'Corridor deliverance'? what about the incidents of immorality at the MFM, Austria branch? What about the scandals going on in there  USA banches , and Canada? Why is Olukoya going to court at  slightest  mentioning of his name? Did he have skeleton in his cupboard?

According to Civil Society News published on the 06June ,2018 titled "Charity Commission investigates Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries International ", It revealed that;

"Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries International’s accounts for the year ending December 2016 reveal that there have been two incidents where money has been lost.

The first “relates to Gift Aid payments made on behalf of the charity for the years between 2005 and 2012”. The second involves the mismanagement of funds by a branch.

It said it can’t estimate the amount that has been lost “as both matters are currently under investigation by trustees and have been reported to Charity Commission”.

One branch is also involved in a planning dispute with a local council and there is currently an enforcement proceeding against the charity relating to “a branch carrying out its activites in a rented property without prior permission from council”.

Its accounts also say that a spouse of one of the trustees works as a senior pastor for the church, receiving £35,000 during the year." (READ MORE HERE)

A particular Nigerian journalist, name Chisom Orji's article caught my attention, in his article , he left the substace and dealing with hearsay. I think as a season journalist, he ought to  have his facts right and research more on the subject matter.

DK Olukoya is a human being, blood runs in his veins, he is not a saint; So why is he  speaking for him. However, i dont blame you , you are one of those journalits FFK referring to as 'brown envelope journalist'

One thing that is  woresome are the so called USA and Canadian vloggers that are just ranting and making noise on social space, i expexted them to go online and read the news or are you guys wanted to tell me that you cant afford data?

Chisom Orji, wrote "Christians must begin to assert their authorities in a manner that deters blackmailers and other selfish individuals from taking undue advantage." So what you are insinuating is that we must not open our mouth now because of one G.O !

These G.Os  that are richer than a state in Nigeria? Your so called pastors that are building their own empires on earth? Are you telling me the God that call your so called pastors also called their chilren and wife too? You guy will definately died as MUMU inside poverty.

The Charity Commission is the independent regulator of charities in England and Wales. Section 76(3)(g) of the Charities Act 2011 gives the Commission power to appoint interim managers to a charity.

MFM

At the time,

“The commission is concerned over the trustees’ unwillingness to report serious incidents. The inquiry found two alleged incidents of fraud by former employees involving significant sums, both of which were not reported until a number of years after the frauds were discovered,” a notice by the commission read.

CHRIST EMBASSY

"As part of a five-year investigation, the commission also appointed an interim manager to take over the management and administration of Christ Embassy, a church owned by Chris Oyakhilome.

In December 2019, the commission indicted the church and its board of trustees of fraud.

The commission said it found serious misconduct and mismanagement in the church’s administration, inadequate recording of its decision-making processes and failure to comply with its grant-making policy."

Let thank God for internet and the people like Dr.Sunday Adelaja, Daddy Freeze, Maureen Badejo etc.

Why are we using religion to scam our own people like this?  Scaming here and there, fake prosperities program, power must change legs , stealing and looting  from  the innocent Nigerians.....too bad.
