WE'RE NOT AFTER TOKE MAKINWA OVER UNPAID DEBTS~~AMCON

The Rumour has it that  Toke Makinwa’s luxury home was seized on Monday on social media over her inability to pay up a loan.

According to  Gistmerchant blog on Instagram, Toke’s house was given to her by her “sugar daddy”, Lagos-based oil and gas businessman, Dr. Festus Fadeyi, whose total indebtedness to AMCON is over N240 billion.
Earlier this month, AMCON took possession of Fadeyi’s Pan Ocean Oil Corporation Nigeria Limited, its affiliate companies and other properties, over an unpaid N240 billion loan debt.
Recall that about a month ago, Toke revealed that she bought her dream house (the Banana Island house), at the age of 35.
It could be recalled that in 2017, billionaire Fadeyi’s children warned Toke to leave their father alone. They were angry with the way he splurges on her. They also believed he was squandering too much money on her even though he is heavily indebted to Skye Bank.

However, the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON) has said it is not after popular Nigerian media personality, Toke Makinwa, over unpaid debts.

AMCON’s spokesman, Jude Uwauzor, told PREMIUM TIMES, Thursday, that Ms Makinwa is not indebted to the agency as alleged on social media.

He said, “What I can tell you now is that Toke Makinwa is not an obligor of AMCON. An obligor is a debtor, people that are owing us money and I can confirm that she is not our debtor. Toke has also issued a statement to say it is not true.

“In Lagos State alone, we have a lot of assets we have taken over. A lot.

“Sincerely, I don’t know who Toke Makinwa is, I don’t know where she lives. Even if they say she lives in Lagos, I don’t know where she lives in Lagos. Some are saying Banana Island, forgetting that Banana Island is in Ikoyi and we have a lot of assets we have taken over in Ikoyi, including the federal secretariat.

“When somebody says they have taken over Toke Makinwa’s house as if everybody knows Toke Makinwa or where she lives. I am not sure she has published her address to say she lives in so so so place. It has been trending online since and nobody has mentioned Toke’s home address so we can confirm.”

TOLULOPE AROTILE: COUNTRY TALENT WASTED @ 24 YEARS OLD.....

Tolulope Oluwatoyin Sarah Arotile was the first-ever female combat helicopter pilot in the Nigerian Air Force. She contributed significantly to combat operations against insecurity in the northern states of Nigeria.
PRESS STATEMENT
Yoruba first female combat pilot may have been murdered, says O'odua group
Late Flying Officer Tolulope Arotile, who was the first-ever female combat helicopter pilot in Nigeria, may have been murdered.
Apapo O'odua Koya, (AOKOYA) in a statement on Tuesday asked the International community to investigate her death. The group said the least it expects is an independent enquiry.
"We have very strong reasons to assume that Tolulope Arotile was murdered. We are aware she had altercations with top military commanders before her death and some hated her to a tilt for her brilliance and exploit against Boko Haram and bandits " AOKOYA said in the statement signed by its officials, Captain Abigo Oritsebugbemi (rtd) and its Middle Belt Coordinator, Akeem Meduna.
AOKOYA said the theory that Arotile died in a motor accident inside the Airforce base is a cock and bull story and it is doubtful.
"We want full investigation into this suspicious death. We find it difficult to believe the story based on the information at our disposal.
"How can she have died in a traffick accident right inside the Airforce base in Kaduna?. We have made preliminary findings and all officers who spoke to us could not understand how that could have happened. One officer, her colleague in Kaduna specifically said the case of murder was the strongest motive", AOKOYA said. At the time of her death, she was 23, and one of the youngest fighter pilots in the world.
"There must be an independent enquiry for anyone to be convinced Tolulope Arotile was not murdered. The Fulani hegenomy hated bright officers of Southern origin. Tolu was exceptional and her brilliance was a threat to the establishment." AOKOYA said.
The group recalled that a Yoruba Chief of Airforce, Shittu Alao was murdered in 1969s by the Fulani oligarchy adding that Dr Ademola Adetokunbo who carried out the autopsy was also murdered by the Federal authorities controled by the Fulani. The Commandant of Nigerian Naval School, Mrs J.O Ogundana was murdered few months ago. Her body was mutilated and packed in a Ghana Must Go. In the same manner, Dr Yomi Oniororo a 29 year old officer of the Nigerian Intelligence Agency, (NIA) was murdered in Abuja, 2002.His body was mutilated. Dare, a senior police officer investigating the murder of Dele Giwa was also assasinated. His senior brother is the popular journalist, Prof Olatunji Dare.
"We are taking records. At the last count, some 413 Yoruba junior and senior Yoruba officers have been murderred by the Fulami oligarchy. Many of them were killed in a 'neat job' that looked like an accident
Arotile died mysteriously due to alleged head injuries sustained, according to Nigerian Airfoce, in road traffic accident at Nigerian Air Force (NAF) Base Kaduna.
Last year she completed her training in South Africa and was winged as a combat helicopter pilot.
Arotile hailed from Iffe in Ijumu Local Government Area of Kogi.
AOKOYA said it has been reliably informed how Arotile led major onsalught against bandits and armed Islamic fundamentalist. Her sorties led to deaths of several militants and bandits. "We have been informed that their agents and supporters in the military marked her and only succeeded in setting a trap for her", AOKOYA said adding that her last operation was in the North Central States tagged "Operation GAMA AIKI"in Minna, Niger State where despite rockets fired at her, she succeeded in killing many bandits and fundamentalist.
“The Nigerian authorities are shedding crocodile tears on the murder of Arotile. We promise his murderers that the several cases of murder of Yoruba officers in the Army, Navy or Airforce are being compiled and at the right time when Yoruba Nation emerges, the murderers will face the full weight of the law even if it means abducting them the exact thing Israeli did after the second world war, to those who killed them in concentration camps.

MAN ARRESTED FOR IMPREGNATING HIS DAUGHTER AFTER RAPING HER FOR 5 YEARS

Eromosele Mahmud,47, a single parent and father of three from the Esako West Local Government Area of Edo State but resident in Port Harcourt,  has been arrested by the police in Rivers State for allegedly impregnating his 16-year-old daughter after raping her for five years.

Eromosele, who claimed not to know what pushed him to the crime, pleaded that the two-month-old pregnancy of his daughter be nurtured till delivery, adding that he did not subscribe to abortion.

He confessed that his daughter started enjoying the incestuous affair and sometimes forced herself on him.

He said, “This is a battle I have tried to fight over the years and it seems to be much bigger than me. I am not going to withdraw any fact or truth as far as this case is concerned. If this is the only way my daughter can be liberated if I go to prison, then it is good. My happiness is that I am relieved even as I speak to you now.

“I can’t really remember when it started, but like I told you, it’s more of a spiritual thing. It is very unusual for a father to be sleeping with his own daughter. I am not a party to abortion, so whatever it is, the social welfare people and other government officials involved in this matter know the best way to handle this pregnancy; as a father, I cannot support abortion for my daughter, what if anything happens to her in the process.

“I don’t rape her regularly; it happens once or twice in a year; she used to be very cooperative, even when I don’t want it, she tries to force herself on me.”

On her part, the victim said each time she protested against her father’s act, he would maltreat her and stop paying her school fees and also punish her.

She stated, “It was my father who impregnated me; he started having sex with me when I was 12-year-old till now.

“The first time he came and lay with me on the bed, when I tried to scream, he told me to shut up that my mates were doing the same thing and anytime I refused to allow him, he would not buy anything for me and he would refuse to pay my school fees.”

The state Police Public Relations Officer, Nnamdi Omoni, said the suspect would be charged once investigation was concluded.
