President Goodluck Jonathan
has appointed Mrs. Roli Bode-George as the new Director-General of the National
Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).
The appointment was announced yesterday evening by Presidential Spokesperson,
Reuben Abati.
According to Abati, her
appointment’ is with immediate effect’. Mrs Bode-George takes over from Mr
Olufemi Ajayi, who is now the Executive Secretary of the Petroleum Technology
Development Fund (PTDF).
Mrs Roli Bode-George, according to her profile attended Corona School, Ikoyi, Federal Government College, Lagos, University of Benin and University of Liverpool. She was formerly appointed as a Federal Commissioner at National Population Commission Nigeria.
